DO NOT hire this company to install flooring if you have stairs. They cut the LVP boards too short so that that bullnose pieces cracked in the middle of every step. When I contacted them LESS THAN A YEAR later they quoted me over $1,000 to repair this problem due to their faulty workmanship. read more

Stakes were high. 2 weeks to move-in, 6 weeks to kiddo #2, and we needed new floors (1,600 sf) immediately. TLDR: Good value, great service and fast. Total satisfaction. Eddie responded to my initial email within 12 hours and was at the house within days for a quote. Through email we sent some color preferences, and he showed up with a stack of samples to view in the space. After introductions, I got a call, and he finished the measurements before I wrapped up. Super fast and efficient with the laser tape. We talked a few options, like baseboard, transitions, color, etc., and I had a quote later that day via text. My wife went to the showroom to finalize color selection, and narrowed it down from the hundreds of options. After getting three quotes, Quality was the middle bid, so we felt good with the numbers. We locked in the color and Eddie confirmed they could start a few days later with a 3-day install duration. A day after locking color, we found out it was not available. Bummer since we made a point to ask to only see available material, BUT we actually like what we ended up with more. With schedule unaffected we proceeded. Two workers showed up the day of, with Eddie driving the flatbed for material delivery. Super compact operation, working out of our garage. With vinyl flooring, they manually chop the short cuts with a big chopper, and they use a mini table saw for the long rips. Point being, there is some moderate tool noise and vinyl dust, but overall, the install is low impact and quiet. They tore out the old carpet, prepped the spaces, notified me of some toilet connection/seal issues, laid down vapor barrier, and slapped 80% of the new product down within 2 days. On the third day, they notified us of an internal family emergency, but said they'd be back on Mother's Day to finish the job. Family first, but the crew was back on Sunday, and pulled an extra long shift to get it done for the painter the following morning. Epic. Thank you, guys! Quality Flooring nailed it. Eddie is super responsive, and they keep their word. Highly recommend. read more

Eddie offered me the best price out there once others quoted me 50% more. This is a rental and Eddie was aware of that. He offered me recommendations that would help me save more money. He was also very responsive whenever I have concerns and questions. Definitely the guy that I would talk to and ask for service again in the future for new flooring needs. read more

Where to begin with the exceptional service that we got from quality flooring solution? I can begin with the wide selection because it is vast and magnificent. The timing on everything promised was exactly on the mark. The customer service was bar none. The installation was so exceptional. They worked intently 3 days all day long and finished the project one days sooner than schedule. They were so considerate and careful and left the house impeccable. What a superior and quality service. read more

Saul and his teams were all very professional and did a great job for us. We had almost 900 sq ft of vinyl plank tiles laid throughout our house. The subfloor had several spots that needed to be repaired making the job a little more difficult, but they didnt cut corners on it. They made sure the surface was level and stable before putting down the flooring. The job came out beautiful and was completed in a little over 1 day. We are very happy with the result and overall cost. read more

Very professional guys. They do work by the book. The quote provided was very well itemized, and best part for me was they are very responsive and hear you out first completely and then provide suggestions. I worked with Eddie and he would respond back to me for any questions very promptly. Work on 900sq ft porcelain tiling was completed in 4 days. They also went ahead and added more workers on last two days to ensure work would wrap up in time. 5 starts just for that. They maintain total transparency. I will for sure call them again for any future flooring needs. read more

They have a hardworking crew and did great, incredibly fast work. QFS demoed and installed new flooring (about 1100 sf) in a total of 3 days. They also installed new baseboards. They only got 4 stars because they didn't paint the new baseboards. The wood used was had scuff marks and dings. Not to mention, I had to pay extra in order to get a flexible, bending baseboard. Not a big deal, but that board isn't white. So I have different color baseboards around the house. read more

I am beyond impressed and grateful for having chosen BKF Solutions to re-do our floors. I am still in shock at the speed in which they finished our project. We had old wood-look tile laid throughout the whole house (minus one bedroom), which meant they had to remove it, clean, prepare underlying floor and then lay the new floor down. They accomplished it in three days flat. They were timely, showing up every day on time, and prepared to work. These guys hardly talked, and worked straight through every day to get the job done. Not only this, but they were beyond professional and clean, always cleaning up after themselves every day. Saul is a very honest and diligent project manager. He gave us great ideas for possible future projects. He ensured everything was running on time, all products were to our specifications and like, and treated this project as if it were his! We will definitely be using him again for future home projects. If you are shopping around for a contractor, talk to Saul and BKF. Get a quote. And think about using them, because you won't be disappointed! read more

We were scheduled to move into our new home in March and we had scheduled with a local home improvement store to do some work to prepare our place. To save a little money we agreed to remove the old floor and they would complete the work. As soon as we completed our part they cancelled our installation due to COVID-19. After living in the home for 6 weeks with the floor stripped to cement I remembered seeing BKF Truck in our neighborhood last year. I googled them and got the telephone number. I called and Saul came out and gave me a quote within 24 hours. We got the supplies and scheduled. His team came out with their mask. They practiced social distancing from us and each out. It worked well and went very smoothly. They did a fantastic job and my floors were completed in one day and look beautiful. I will definitely use them again. I give them an A + referral. read more

Entire house refloored except foyer & bathrooms. Purchased ceramic plank tiles from Lumber Liquidators (Canyon Country, CA). Entire experience was professional. Lumber Liquidators doesn't install but handed our installation off to a contractor whom I've yet to meet. To the best of my (high-school Spanish) understanding, this "invisible" contractor subbed the job out to BKF Solutions in Whittier, CA, a family crew of hard-working professionals. They showed up on time each day (60+mile round trip from Whittier), did a first-rate job, cleaned up each evening, suggested & executed some minor but important aesthetic changes, completed the whole job ahead of schedule, and even helped us rearrange some heavy furniture at the end. I have not a single complaint. Let the photos speak for the quality of BKF Solutions' workmanship. We love our 40-year-old home again. Thanks, BKF! read more

5 star rating. The crew arrived on time and within 3 hours they removed our hardwood flooring. Our downstairs is about 900 sq ft. Each person had a job to do, they worked quickly and quietly. New SPC flooring was installed and 5" baseboards were painted and installed. The 7 man crew was so efficient, working together and were able to rip up and install in one day. They moved furniture out and returned it when the floor was in. They cleaned up as they worked, and cleaned at the end of the day. We love the flooring and highly recommend them. read more

Finally was able to settle on a tile installation company and they were what we thought outstandingly good people. Recieved a fair quote and received amazing discounts!! Although I was ready to move forward with the project I ran into a hardship getting the material I wanted from the tile store because of covid. The materials were hard to come by and have longer turn around times because of back order. I probably could have communicated that better however when we finally had material on hand this company stated we had a deposit to pay, which is fine but we were never given an amount for a deposit and the time we agreed on was no longer valid. The messages between myself and the "boss" got a little confusing because the person who contacted me tonight said the "boss" was the one who made and accepted the date. I didn't know an employee could override the bosses decision. The conversation was sour from the beginning and I knew they just didn't want to do business with us.. I told them we didn't have a problem with the deposit but we didn't have an amount. Also was just a bit annoyed because the "boss" said he could do the job in one day but then the person texting me tonight said they wouldn't have time till August of 2022. It was decided they didn't want to do the project from the start as they picked a date in the next year when it was said they had two dates in October. All because I couldn't rush the tile order from the shop it was purchased from. So hindsight is, better communication between company and project holder couls have helped and i thought it would be obvious to a contractor that they would know that during times of covid, material scarcity is a real issue right now. read more

I have remodeled a dozen homes in my lifetime. I have gone through many contractors. But since 2008 I haven't done any remodeling or flipping. I find that most contractors are as bad as automotive repair services. I have been trying to get bids to remodel my kitchen for the last year. I had guys come in and give me ridiculous estimates without offering any design or detail of costs. So I decided to get new flooring done through another company one of the major ones with television commercials. The workers had recommended to call their boss because he did kitchens. We called Saul and he was at our house in a week. I immediately had a good feeling about him. He gave me a fair price with 3-D designs to fully demonstrate what he was going to do. He said he would finish the job in 30 days. He got it done within 30 days and just had some touch up work to do which was done within a few weeks. It was a very large job creating a very large and beautiful kitchen and he did an amazing job with every single detail. As with any construction project there were problems along the way but Saul solved them and took care of them when he knew it was his mistake. I will be hiring him again for my next project and look forward to working again with someone as easy as him to work with. read more

I can't say enough good things about this company. The first time I called for a quote I got a call back within 30 minutes. Scheduling a free estimate was a breeze and Eddie, their guy who does the estimates was prompt, friendly, and went above and beyond to get us what we needed. They were easy to coordinate with. We received an official estimate/contract which felt very professional and showed us everything that would be included. I love that they install the baseboard with the floors. It looks amazing! Once the flooring crew got here they were all very respectful and efficient. I absolutely cannot believe they installed about 850 ft.² of wood laminate in a day as well as installed baseboard and caulked all that area. These guys are fabulous. They cleaned up well, worked great together and communicated with me when I had any questions. As if their work ethic isn't enough, their price is lower than the other quotes we got. I would recommend quality flooring solutions to anyone looking to upgrade their flooring situation. read more

We just finished a comprehensive kitchen re-model with Saul and his crew. From the first visit to the last goodbye after the job was done, we could not have asked for anything more! Our townhouse kitchen was terribly outdated and needed EVERYTHING...Saul delivered excellent workmanship at a very competitive price and was there for us every step of the way...with suggestions, recommendations and great ideas as to how we could better use the space we had to work with. Cabinets/granite/tile flooring/trim and most importantly, modification to the existing layout that made a huge difference in form and function. Perhaps the biggest compliment I can pay Saul is that when he was at our house it felt like he cared every bit as much as if it were his own. Doesn't get much better than that!
