We recently had the pleasure and good fortune to get some stain work by Finishes Pro. They did an outstanding job on the entire project. Gamma, who performed the work is an exceptional talent in the color selection, quality of workmanship and performance. The work was done timely, they communicated with us continuously and charged a fair price. Raul and his staff are highly recommended by myself and my wife. Thank you Finishes Pro. We had a custom wood door made at Ganal but they made it with wood and partial MDF which forced us to have to paint instead of stain it. We wanted it to look like natural wood but the way it was built complicated this. We called several companies and Finished Pro's reviews and service won the bid. It's been over 2 months since we had the door done and it looks great, no complaints. We couldn't be happier. Raul was so professional from start to finish. He set up a mock paint studio in our front yard and he made several samples of how I wanted to door to look and he allowed me plenty of time to make up my mind on the finish. It took 2 days and it wasn't cheap but it was so worth it! They installed the door locks, and peep-hole. We love our door and he made it look like it was stained instead of painted wood. We highly recommend him and his crew! read more

Super impressed with Raul and his team. They are highly detailed and very much outperformed expectations. When we were indecisive about the right stain color, Raul personally came to provide alternative stain samples, and ensure we were pleased. It meant the world to us, and he has earned our future business without a doubt. read more

We had an excellent experience with Finishes Pro and Raul. He refinished our entire kitchen, including all cabinets and doors, and the results came out beautiful. The finish looks smooth, even, and high quality, and it completely transformed the space. Raul was professional, reliable, and very detail-oriented. He took the time to do things the right way, kept the work area clean, and clearly cared about the final result. Communication was easy throughout the process, and everything was completed on schedule. If you are looking for someone you can trust to refinish cabinets and doors properly, I highly recommend Finishing Pro and Raul. We are very happy with the work and would absolutely use him again. read more

Raul and finishes pro were great. He came out when convenient for me to give me a quote. After checking my wood siding he sent me a quote a couple of days later. Our wood siding was very weathered and wood looked in terrible condition. We hired contractors/painters a year prior to do the sealing but they didn't do a good job. We are glad that we hired wood specialists this time. His crew came out and set up the scaffolding and did a great job. Will hire again for maintaining our siding from now on. read more

I couldn't be happier with the work from Raul and his team. From the beginning, he got back to me promptly and was responsive when I had questions as well. On the scheduled day, they arrived on time and did an excellent job sanding and then re-staining the doors. They came back a second day to apply the protective coatings, which give the doors a lovely sheen. It's obvious Raul and his team take pride in the quality of their work. I highly recommend his services. read more

I had an old patio bench designed and built by my Dad in the 1970s. it had sentimental value to me and my family. i wanted to have the bench refinished for my niece (my Dad's first grandchild), but I lived in L.A., and my niece is in Huntington Beach. I found Finishes Pro on Yelp and I couldn't have been happier. Finishes Pro picked up the bench and restored it to a beautiful wood finish. THEN, they delivered the finished product to my niece. The bench now sits in her garden to be enjoyed by her grandchildren and based on the great job Finishes Pro did on the bench, I expect Dad's bench to be in our family for future generations . I highly recommend Finishes Pro read more

I knew that Raul was special because he arrived on time for our 8:00 am appointment and I was his second appointment. Who does that on a Saturday? Finishes Pro! Raul and his team are my heroes. Showed up less than 12 hours after I posted the job, and absolutely crushed. Our deck looks brand new!! They were meticulous in sanding down every square inch and used the perfect product to restore the natural beauty of the redwood. 5 stars is not enough for the work that Raul and his team at Finishes Pro did on my wood ceiling. We moved into a house with a very ugly red wood ceiling that was layered with gunk. After looking up reviews and reaching out, Raul came the next day and gave me a competitive quote and told me he would be able to refinish it. He started the next week and it took them two days to make my dreams come true. They were excellent at keeping the house dust free. You would have never known that they were sanding paint and wood! They were also prompt and on time. When they were finished sanding, Raul had 3 swatches of stains ready for me to pick. The ceiling is STUNNING and I'm incredibly grateful for the team and their diligent and hard work! read more

I could not be happier with how my walnut kitchen island countertop turned out. When installed in 2011 the countertop contractor misunderstood my desired finish. I have been searching since then to find someone to give me the beautiful natural finish I invisioned. Raul understood what I wanted And gave it to me. Gama completed the job on site leaving no mess, not even a drop of dust. Since completed last week I have had several tradesmen for other projects at the house. Each of them have commented on my beautiful countertop. read more

Raul and his team at Finishes Pro exceeded my expectations. They were not only professional but also very efficient. They showed up on time, worked diligently, and completed the job a few days early. I hired them to sand and stain my entire second story, backyard, and roof deck, and they managed to accomplish it all in 4 days when previously, it's been done in 2-3 weeks. Couldn't be happier with the service provided. Without a doubt, I will be turning to them for any future projects. Highly recommended. read more

We recently did a kitchen remodel and had a custom white oak island installed. I did not want just anyone going anywhere near it with a can of stain and searched high and low for someone who actually knew what they were doing, I read his awesome reviews and thought I hope this isn't too good to be true. Ummm.. it wasn't and Raul is seriously AMAZING!! They just don't make them like him anymore! He has a true passion for what he does and it shows in his beautiful work! I am one of those " I never write reviews" people.... but when you find someone this damn near next to perfect you have to.... he's earned it. 1. Priced fairly ( wasn't even going to charge me for 8 shelves I forgot to tell him about) 2. A perfectionist! 3. Very clean and respectful of home 4. Showed up on time and got the job done when he said he would If you need someone who truly knows wood... of any kind... call him. You won't regret it. read more

Once again Raul and his crew did a fantastic job refinishing our very worn fence, restoring it to an even better condition than it was in when we first moved to our home! Everyone arrived promptly to start each day, and did a really thorough job cleaning and organizing the workspace each evening. I was shocked this was only a few days of work, given how meticulous the crew was, and the before and after photos speak for themselves. This review is seven years overdue! Finishes Pro rebuilt our backyard deck seven years ago, and the quality has truly stood the test of time. The structure stayed solid, beautiful, and incredibly well-crafted -- even after years of use and exposure to the elements. At the same time, they also replaced the back fence and restored the older fence along the side of the yard. Both turned out wonderfully and still look great years later. We have not had to do any maintenance on them at all! Just two months ago, they came back to refinish the original deck they built, and it still didn't need any repairs -- just a refresh due to sprinklers hitting it daily. That speaks volumes about the care and craftsmanship they put into their work. They also built a gazebo for us, which turned out absolutely beautiful. Every project has been done on time, with clear communication, and they clearly take pride in what they do. Finishes Pro is a fantastic company -- detailed, skilled, and incredibly easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone. It's rare to find a company this reliable and consistent. read more

We recently had the pleasure of having Finishes Pro restore our iconic Mid Century Modern wood front door along with restoring and finishing a long pine fence, some acacia wood outdoor furniture and a few other items. We were about to give up on our front door since we continued to have trouble with paint adhering in the hot sun. Raul and his team were amazing; professional, courteous, responsive and real pros. They took everything down to bare wood, properly prepped and then painted or stained. With all the sanding the work area was always clean since high efficiency filters were used. The whole process was painless with the team efficiently tackling every project with precision and attention to detail. At the end of the day the team cleaned everything up nicely and ensured the house was secure by reinstalling the front door. We were first a little hesitant since the front door would be completely off a lot of the time but the team ensured the front entry was covered while working and secure at the end of the day. All the work was done right at our house in Woodland Hills. Our 1962 door is now perfectly restored and operates much better, our side fence is protected and looks amazing and our outdoor furniture looks better than new. By far the most pleasant contractor experience we have ever had. If you are looking for someone to restore your wood Finishes Pro is the real deal! We will continue to use and highly recommend them to our friends and community. read more

My family and I have worked with Raul on multiple jobs over many years. I can tell you about all the good stuff for hours, but let me tell you about a problem instead. On a recent table refinishing job, which his staff showed up on time and professionally for, the stain came out the wrong color. Within days, Raul sent a huge crew, re-refinished the tables, and they look literally better than new. Even more important than his fair pricing, good quality and clean timely work is how he honorably deals with problems. Though many jobs over many years went off awesomely without a hitch, nothing is ever always perfect forever, or we wouldn't need his help. What counts is how mistakes are dealt with when they arise: you can count on Raul! Really impressed with his work and ethic: choose him with confidence. read more

After meeting with five various cabinet refinishers and receiving quotations that ranged significantly, we selected Finishers Pro to undertake our kitchen and bathroom cabinetry refinishing based on the following criteria: 1) Owner Raul spent the time needed to provide details of the cabinet refinishing process and to give his recommendations on stains that would enhance the wood. 2) The company's services that are offered are not all over the map, but rather focused specifically on wood refinishing, their specialty. 3) Their Yelp photo postings are clearly laid out, not with random photos, but with "before" and "after" images that clearly illustrate the quality of their work. 4) Samples of different stains on wood planks were provided from which to make an informed selection. 5) The extensive sanding process would be made with a vacuum device to prevent dust particles from spreading throughout the house, thus eliminating exposure to breathing dust particles. 6) Raul is responsive and shows attention to details. Although Finishers Pro's quote was higher than others, the completed project is a testament to their high standards in their specialized field. All workers were punctual, experienced, professional, extremely neat, and diligently trained. Bottom line: Exemplary work; exemplary work ethics. read more
