Technician showed up on time and was ready to work. He prepped the entire bathroom for the work in the tub. He cleaned all the debris from prepping the tub and cleaned up all the paper and plastic when he finished. He completed the job within the original estimated time. read more

This was the third time we have used Always Refinishing, although it is our first time leaving a review. Over the years, we have worked closely with Luis, and a few qualities have consistently stood out: he is always punctual, offers fair pricing, and delivers remarkable results. This time, we decided to move forward with a project Luis recommended: refinishing one of the wood laminate kitchen countertops in our rental unit. Initially, I expected the result to look like a simple repaint, especially considering how worn and faded the laminate surface had become. However, once I saw the finished work, I could hardly believe my eyes. It genuinely looked as though we had replaced the countertop with granite. The finish appeared solid, durable, and waterproof. Luis and his team did an outstanding job. I was truly blown away by both the quality of the workmanship and the final result. I only wish I had taken before-and-after photos, but judging by the many client photos already available, you can clearly see the level of quality they consistently deliver. Would I use Always Refinishing again and highly recommend their work? Absolutely: 100%. read more

Luis was a godsend! Our kitchen project turned into a total nightmare after a handyman botched the kitchen sink reglazing job and tile regrouting. We were left with a scratched-up kitchen sink and countertops that had uneven, rough textures. We suspect the refinishing spray was left on the counter too long. After frantically calling around to numerous vendors, we finally found Luis. He came by to inspect the site and gave us an honest assessment of what it would take to restore everything. He delivered exactly on his word and made our kitchen tile and sink look shiny, clean, and new again. We are so grateful for his help with this kitchen restoration. When I bought my place, it came with a nasty jetted tub that was clearly neglected. I didn't have the budget to remodel, so I've kept it. But after some failed attempts at cleaning it to my satisfaction and then just DIY capping the jets to use it as a regular soaker tub, I decided it's finally time to find a professional to do an actual conversion. And I can confidently say Always Refinishing was definitely the right professional. From getting a quote over the phone and scheduling a day and time, the communication was excellent. Luis was friendly and flexible, which I appreciated. But the real magic happened when he and his assistant came on the day of the conversion. While my tub turned out to be a slightly bigger/more complicated project than we had initially anticipated, they pushed through it and got it done. Luis made sure to loop me in every major step of the process--watching it transform by the hour was truly fascinating. It was obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing. The team worked non-stop from 11 AM to 9 PM. Their hard work left my brand-new tub glistening in its glorious new glaze, jet-free. Luis is even scheduled to come back to provide a silicone touch-up to make sure the tub looks 100% perfect. The lifetime warranty thing is just a cherry on top. Worth every penny, IMO. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for something similar. Finding someone who specializes in jetted tub conversion in LA was quite difficult. But I'm glad I put in the research to find Luis. I've said a lot, but I'll let the pictures do some more talking. read more

This is the second time I've had Always Refinishing rescue one of the horribly damaged Bathtubs in my building. They arrived on time, did an amazing job and the prices are reasonable. The Bathtub looked so good that I had to replace the Bathtub/Shower Fixtures because they looked shoddy against the new-looking Bathtub. I can't recommend Always Refinishing enough. They do what they say they will do and the results have always been stellar! read more

Quick reply, quick scheduling, great work! My old, twice refinished tub needed to be refinished again and I reached out to AR. Luis got right back to me with a quote and scheduled me for the next week. Joshua came at 830 am and worked until almost 9 pm. Such a thorough job. Covered and taped absolutely everything. Chipped away old finish (none of the previous refinishers had done this) and stripped and cleaned everything. I'd also decided to do the old ugly tile of the shower. There were chips and holes in the tile which Joshua filled and sanded to perfection. Yes it took all day and into the night but having such a thorough job is absolutely worth it. My tub/shower looks amazing! AND, they give a lifetime guarantee. If you get a chip they'll come fix it! read more

These guys are amazing at what they do. They do such an AMAZING job. We thought we had to get whole new showers. Look at the difference it's a miracle these got refinished just this good. Looks brand new. We were disgusted to know how bad our showered have gotten. They came in and were so respectful to the house. Laid plastic literally anywhere they had to walk. We have dogs too and they were kind to them! One of them is a puppy so they were patient with us! These guys are great at what they do! read more

They did a great job at a very reasonable price. They removed the old surface that was covering the tile, re-grouted where it was needed, and even fixed a few broken tiles before starting the epoxy work. The prep alone showed how much care and detail they put in, and the finished product looks amazing. I'd definitely recommend them and wouldn't think twice about using them again. read more

If you're looking to refinish your bathtub, I recommend Louis and his team. They were very professional and what matters most, did a great job. The process was fairly quick. I called Louis (the owner) and texted him photos. He then called me back and explained what kind of bath I had, a what the timeline would look like and the price. On the day scheduled, the team showed up on time and got started right away. Throughout the process, Louis gave me constant updates on what was going on. He also gave me tips on how to maintain the bathtub. Louis went out of his way to make sure I was happy and satisfied with the results. I'm very picky when it comes to getting things done correctly and having the perfect turn out. I can't recommend Always Refinishing enough. He truly loves what he does and put his all into it. Editing to add that I definitely have the correct company info & the response left on my review teying to say that I am mistaken just confirms how horribly run this company is. Instead of admitting & dealing with their mistake they just lie to try to cover it up. Spare yourself & do not use this company. ------------------ Luis with always refinishing was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company to work on my home. The worker did not show up at the time we agreed upon. When we called the owner was annoyed, saying it was his day off. But he did say they had to bump us (without informing us) for a home that was having an open house. The worker finally arived 4 or 5 hours late & informed us he would need to be working until MIDNIGHT! When my husband called the owner again he was extremely annoyed, saying it was his day off with his family & he did not want to be bothered. The worker told us he hates working weekends because the owner always does that when an issue comes up. As a person who has formerly run businesses I would have to say that the owner is way out of line. If you want time off with your family then you need to not be scheduling workers on that day. And if they are deciding to bump us the owner truly should have come to our home & started the job & then let the employee take over & finish when he arrived at our home. read more

We called Always Refinishing to fix a crack in our tub. The first time they worked on the tub, they were on time and did a great job. We noticed a new crack in the same tub and the paint had begun to peel. We were planning on having the guest bathtub refinished as well so we called them back two months later. They were hours late on several occasions and rescheduled us the day of when we called asking when they'd show up. The guy Luis sent had no idea what he was doing and couldn't give us a quote before he was going to start working. We had to call Luis to come to the house as well because we wanted a quote before work began. Now, the paint is starting to peel in the tub again after a month. read more
