I bought my house a few years ago and have been debating on how to update the master bath. I liked that it is a spa tub but the jets were stained (dirty). I hired professional cleaners but they still never looked clean enough for me to take a take bath. Additionally, I reached out to multiple plumbers and manufacturers to replace the jets. To no avail because I didn't know the manufacturer of the tub. I decided for the time being to get the tub reglaze. I reached out to several companies on Yelp. ProTub Refinishing was the slowest to respond but they had the highest reviews and I decided to be patient. I am glad that I did because Miguel (owner) called me and told me I had two options: reglaze the tub or remove the jets which they will be sanded and have a smooth tub. I was grateful he gave me those options as no one else did and I decided option 2 will be the best option. We made an appointment two weeks later from 8:00 - 8:15 am and he showed up at 7:58am! Miguel was patient as I was getting dressed when he called. One thing I noticed about him was his nice demeanor and very polite manners. He explained the process to me and said it would take 4 hours. He sealed off the bathroom and completed the work in 4 hours. I am so grateful I picked ProTub Refinishing because my tub looks brand new! I liked he did the outdoors of the tub too. I wish I did this when I first moved in because it's definitely an upgrade. I can't wait to utilize my bath bombs! We just had our jet tub reglazed with the jets removed by ProTub Refinish. We really wanted to get rid off the jets and have a regular tub where we could use the tub for our kids without having to worry about these jets. We found the reglazing company and they recommend us too send some additional photos through a text message that way we could get a quote which we did we scheduled the job too be done they came out and honored the quote we had one tub almond color look came out perfect match on my vintage tiles another bathroom we had a fiberglass enclosure in white came out amazing despite the way it looked before . My guest bathroom tub paint was peeling due to the bad refinishing job the previous home owner did and the paint was clogging the drain. I asked several businesses and professionals to quote me on the job and found ProTub to have a decent price and good reviews. I'm happy with my choice and would hire them again if needed. I sent a photo of the tub via Yelp, and received a quote within hours. Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy. They reminded me to clear everything from the tub and around the tub area so that they could work. The day Miguel came out, he was on time at 8:15am, briefly explained what he was going to do, set up his equipment and got to work. He taped the fixtures up properly and laid down work cloth so as not to dirty or damage my floor or anything around the tub. He let me know it would take about 3-4 hours, but he finished in about 2.5 hours. When he finished, he cleaned up and showed me the work and everything looked GREAT! There is a warranty. They do accept all payments, but if you pay with card, there is a fee. You shouldn't use the tub for 24 hours after the job is complete. I payed $350 before taxes and fees. read more
