Texted pictures of an old claw foot tub we are restoring for our house. Quickly got an estimate, and had a scheduled time within a week. Tub turned out beautiful! The guy that did the work was so professional. Explained every step of the processes. Made sure everything around the tub was protected. I would highly recommend this company! read more

Awesome job. Professional staff! I would recommend this business. My guest bathroom tub paint was peeling due to the bad refinishing job the previous home owner did and the paint was clogging the drain. I asked several businesses and professionals to quote me on the job and found ProTub to have a decent price and good reviews. I'm happy with my choice and would hire them again if needed. I sent a photo of the tub via Yelp, and received a quote within hours. Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy. They reminded me to clear everything from the tub and around the tub area so that they could work. The day Miguel came out, he was on time at 8:15am, briefly explained what he was going to do, set up his equipment and got to work. He taped the fixtures up properly and laid down work cloth so as not to dirty or damage my floor or anything around the tub. He let me know it would take about 3-4 hours, but he finished in about 2.5 hours. When he finished, he cleaned up and showed me the work and everything looked GREAT! There is a warranty. They do accept all payments, but if you pay with card, there is a fee. You shouldn't use the tub for 24 hours after the job is complete. I payed $350 before taxes and fees. read more

I always like it when you have a contractor start work at your house and the first thing they do is ensure the floors and surrounding areas will remain clean. Miguel was great to deal with. From the quote process to the finished tub is was a breeze. Thanks. read more

I can't say enough good things about the work I had done. Communication was great. Replied to all my messages the same day. The job was done quickly and thoroughly, and I'm extremely satisfied with how it turned out. So happy that we chose to reglaze our old tub rather than replacing it with a new one. read more

My experience with Pro Tub was very good. I text Miguel(the owner) a picture of my tub for a quote in the late afternoon and he responded the next morning not only with a quote but also sent his contractor's licence and bond information. He showed up on time and greeted me with a smile and a hand shake. He work steady the whole time and took the extra effort to prep the work area to keep everything clean. When he was finished resurfacing the tub he made sure to clean up after him self. Miguel had a positive attitude and a lot of pride in his craft. read more

I would fully recommend ProTub Refinishing. When I first contacted them the responses to my questions and pricing etc. were very quick. Miguel did a beautiful job and was very professional through the whole process. We couldn't be happier with the end result. It brightened up the whole bathroom without having to pull the bathtub out, demolish walls, retile etc. read more

We recently moved into our house & the tub was the first thing we needed fixed. From the moment I text Miguel the experience was so easy & awesome. Our tub was very old & stained & just horrific. But Miguel changed that for us for such a reasonable price! I'm so happy with his services & because of him we saved thousands of dollars to remodel our entire restroom. Very fast & easy. Thank you Miguel for making our tub look amazing!!! read more

Miguel was extremely responsive and great to work with. I am very happy with my tub. He was on time, and the job took exactly how long they estimated. Taped off everything and very conscientious about picking up all materials. Reasonably priced and great results. read more

Miguel is super nice and seems very competent. He offered his knowledge and advice without expecting anything in return. I was very appreciative for being on the receiving end of his kindness. Hard to find contractors like him these days. read more

I gave this business a 1 star for the simple fact that the contractor did not bother to arrange an appointment to do the job. If you request a quote expect a text. I attempted to text message the contractor and he did not reply my text message. I attempted to call the contractor and he did not answer my call nor did he call back. I don't think this is a good way to treat any customer. This guy came to my house he over sprayed my whole bathroom tile, sink faucet, mirror, and toilet. Good thing I'm remodeling soon. My window screen was ruined full of white paint or whatever it is. He never shook my hand as he came out forcefully so I could improve his review. He didn't know at the time it was me but he might have put one and one together. Either way he should be more courteous and way more respectful with other people's property. He showed his true colors not genuine at all. Don't trust a man who doesn't shake your hand. This is an update 08-15-17 based on a reply you sent and a message your wife sent (she had a better response/attitude about my review). Okay so I skipped the fact that after my very first review (first portion at top) he called and maybe putting one and one together he apologized and said that he wasn't able to call sooner. I was going to update the review so it did not reflect the "late call back" (a few days late). Good thing I did not. After your sloppy job I meant to update my review but I just now got to it. I didn't make the overspray a big deal because taking you to small claims is probably not worth it for me. I should have brought that up that same day. I work all the time so I really don't have time for you to come back out to fix your screw up. I'm an actual customer not somebody "trying to destroy your business" or I did not get your company confused with a similar named company. I'm a hard working person and I don't believe in harming any hard working person or their company. I'm just saying what I experienced with the job you did and your attitude toward me. Looking at your other replies I found that you always try to rebuttal by denying having record of the customer and that we are lying or a fake customer. What type of company denies, redirects, and does not accept any criticism. Try to be humble and accept criticism from people that hire you and maybe you will improve sir. Horrible customer service. The day you think you know it all is the day you give up on yourself. Wish you luck read more

We had (being evicted) a very problematic renter who's most recent complaint to excuse his constantly late rent was that his tub needing to be refinished due to a patch of missing glaze and few chips. The fact is he never bothers to clean his bathroom (doesn't even have any cleaning supplies) in the nearly 2 years of living there and only now brought it up. I should know since I painstakingly cleaned it of stains before he moved in and once again, as a courtesy, after repairing a leak from an annual inspection. Miguel went above and beyond for 3 weeks attempting to contact by calls and text to schedule with our problematic tenant or his other occupants in order to resolve his complaint. He even contacted on Sunday, which they're normally closed. Aside from the before and after photos, we don't know the quality of the work as we aren't bothering to checking until the tenant vacates. read more

Doesn't like to pick up phone calls, return emails or text messages. Their voicemail specifically asks you to text them pictures or email them for estimates. I've sent out the pictures along with a message attached, iMessage showed my messages and pictures was in fact delivered and read; yet no response. --------------------------------------------------------- Check out the owner's Reply, how could you have searched my phone number for "records" based on my Yelp review? Another example of a badly run business, so quickly to push the blame away. My phone number is not listed on Yelp and you wonder why you have no records of me contacting you? read more

It took me a while to write my review. We had Miguel work on our bathtub enclosure and decided to refinish the bottom portion of the tub only due to my budget. I decided to wait to write my review because I wanted to see if the work would last it's been over a year and still looks really good I also attached some photos to see the transformation. It did take him about a week to respond to my quote but he finally got back to us and scheduled. Miguel and Adam took care in protecting our bathroom. I noticed how they taped the bathroom with paper and plastic; very detailed oriented. this is the third company I've used on this type of work and I see the difference how doing it right and taking time really pays off. read more

My landlord found Protub Refinish through a referral. Miguel refinished the standup shower in our master bathroom. Before he worked on it, I hated taking a shower in it. It was dingy, peeling, cracking and rusty. Miguel came over yesterday, worked his magic and now it's like BRAND NEW. It's all white with a nice clean shine. I'm happy! On top of his amazing work, Miguel is trustworthy, warm, polite and very professional. I would definitely use him again and refer him to others! read more

I can't praise the experience with this company enough. Miguel came to reglaze two showers for me and they turned out great. He was clean and considerate making sure to use an air system that blew the strong odors out of the window. He put plastic over everything in the bathrooms and on the carpet leading to the bathrooms to make sure it all stayed clean. He answered all my questions and when I noticed some of the glaze dripping after he left, I contacted him and he returned to fix it the very next day without hesitation. He stands by his work as he has been in this business a long time. I'd like to add that he never asked me to write this review, I'm just extremely pleased with the entire experience! It's hard to believe that as a business owner you do not know that sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone. However, since it's obvious that you're trying to make me look like the bad guy I will share some additional information and fight fire with fire Other than what was visible how am I supposed to know how bad the tub was underneath the top coat? I am not the professional and based on your feedback and comments it appears you do not recognize that term. Thanks for explaining to me and all of the others reading this that DIY means Do it Yourself. However, I am now advising everyone that is reading this that DIY now means Don't Involve Yourself with Protub. I clearly advised you that I had used one of the DIY kits and I clearly advised you that it was peeling and I clearly advised you that it appeared that the original glaze was damaged. As the so-called professional you made a conscious choice to accept the job over the phone, you also made a conscious choice to accept the job when you arrived and saw the damage. Had you said that you could not give a quote until you saw the tub or had you said that you would prefer to not accept the job because of the extent of the damage I would been fine with your decision but again, it was you who provided the quote over the phone and it was also you who chose to accept the job after seeing the tub. Perhaps you need to look at your standard operating procedures, if you do not have any I would suggest you create some. The damage to the tub was clearly visible before you started working on it. As stated previously, it your choice to continue, not mine. You gave me options shortly after I posted the review on Yelp and not a day before. I posted the review 4/5/16, you sent me a text 4/5/16 asking if I could give you another chance at repairing it. If it was that important to you to make things right why did you wait until April? It sounds like you were attempting to do some damage control because of the review that I posted. I never said you left me hanging, I simply said that you took long to send me the refund and that when I finally received the check there was a mistake on it, you made it out to Jose instead of Jorge. Yes, I agree that there are two sides to the story.......yours, mine and the truth. I will leave it up to the Yelpers to decide what the truth really is. Also, if you're going to use terms like REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE perhaps you should first learn the meaning of it, attempting to retaliate against a customer that posted a low review regarding your services is completely uncalled for and shows a lack of professionalism and customer service. Here is one of the text you sent me on 4/5: Hi Jose it's Miguel just left a message I apologize for experience with me can you give. Me a chance to strip old glaze off ? I'll wash it real good or I can also give you extra money if you'd like to use some one else I really don't care about money I only care about making things right those are my intentions it makes me sad when I don't provide the service I have too can you give me a chance to clean the tub ? I went back another time stripped it completely I'm willing to help in any way I can thank you Can I give you an extra 200.00 dollars ? I can drop it off today My comment: my issue wasn't the money but it seems like you were asuming that you could or would buy me and that I would probably change or delete the review. I am now taking my review to Facebook and will share it with friends and family and not just the Yelp users. read more

I have photos and will upload them. It's been about 2 months since the refinish and I waited about 3 weeks to use the bath just to make sure. You CAN use it like 48 hours after but I just wanted to make sure. So, I'll keep it simple so you can make your decision. 1. It still looks good and feels good. 2. The technician was suuuuuuuuuper professional that I would honestly trust him in my house alone. 3. I don't know the method he uses but he has better pricing than anyone. 4. He was super clean and the outcome was BEAUTIFUL! I would seriously invite this guy and his family to Thanksgiving Dinner. He's just that good. read more

Miguel at ProTub just finished a reglaze job for me and it looks great! I had a tenant moving in and so I was contacting a few companies to get scheduling and estimates. Miguel had me take pictures of the current condition of the tub and shower enclosure and email it to them to speed up the estimate process. He was honest to say that they will honor the quote even if it ends up to be more work then expected when they actually see the project in person. We had it scheduled two wks out, or at least I thought we did... a few days prior I wanted to confirm again but there must have been a misunderstanding on the email so they initially did not have it booked. I pointed out from prior email messages that we had it booked and they were able to honor that as well and keep my original appointment. Miguel showed up within the given hour, he was very nice, clear, and clean on the job. He also sent me pictures of the finished job to confirm it's done so I didnt have to worry if it was finished or not. ( I had to go to work) Overall, it was a good experience. The tub / shower looks great! They may seem a little more on the costlier side, but I've done Property Management work before and sometimes the lower price place's work would peel within the year. I would use them again and would recommend them out. Thank you Miguel! read more

WOW where do I begin. Honest people are so hard to find now a days. Miguel is one of them. I had called him to go and re-glaze two bathroom for my tenants and he was so nice give me a Yelp discount to begin with. Then he fit me in his busy schedule; he is so accommodating too. I was not sure if the tub really needed to be re-glazed so I asked him if he can take a look at it and then let me know. He got to my tenants house and told me there was no rust and it just needed a really good cleaning. HOW honest is this guy. He could have easily said yes you really need it and charge me for both of the tub but he didn't. I'm telling you, call this guy and he will let you know the real deal. It's really hard to find good honest people; I;m glad to have found Miguel. I will surely tell all my friends about him. YOU WILL THANK ME if you call him!!! read more

6/22/16 I called and got the voice mail to either email or text photo for estimate so I did. I received a quote by text at night with a few options for appointment dates. I chose the following day and Miguel showed up as promised. He was very professional and courteous in texting and in person. He set up his work area very neatly and covers floor where he need access to. I didn't even have to vacuum after he's gone! He vented the odor out and advised me to allow 24 hour for drying. Just to be safe and I'll leave it for a couple more days. He offers 3 year warranty. By the way, this is the second time I have to reglaze my bathtub because the other company with nearly 5 star yelp review couldn't get the job done right. The other company offered me life time warranty but won't honor it and insisted me for misusing my bathtub. I was tired of calling them back and each time have to hear them accusing me for something I didn't do. I'm yet to see if the refinishing job Protub did for me holds but it looks nice and brand new after a day. I will update a week later with photo. Cross my fingers there'll be no issue. read more
