Long story short, I spent $400 to repair a fiberglass tub that wasn't repairable in the first place. After two failed attempts to fix it, I got a second opinion and was told the tub was not repairable. The explanation was that if you push on the backrest of the tub where the cracks are opening up, it's very soft back there and the tub flexes into the space. This indicates rot behind the tub. When we went under the house for further inspection, that assessment was confirmed. The repair was never going to hold. When I told Mike about the issue, he got defensive and said there was no way they would know about this issue. It seems to me that someone who repairs tubs for a living should be able to push on it like the second guy did and figure out whether it can be repaired. But they didn't. Mike never came out to see the tub. I sent a few pictures, and he asked a few questions then told me could fix it. Also the guy Sergio who came to do the work didn't do an assessment of the integrity of the tub. He just jumped right into the reglazing. I did tell him that this seemed a bit like a scam to me. He has my $400 and I still have a cracked tub. He was super defensive and started going on about his background and how he hates contractors and that he isn't going to let this second person pass the blame onto him. None of which matters to me. What matters is my wasted $400. Fortunately, I had someone arrive at my front door and was able to end the conversation. Overall very disappointing that they didn't do better due diligence on the condition of the tub, took my money for a repair that was never going to work, and then got defensive about it. read more

Mike and his crew did a spectacular job as you can see by the photo. The tub and shower before was a big mess and a ugly color. Somewhat slippery as well. That is why we added a grab bar. Prior to Mike's visit. It was dangerous. Now we have a firm grip on our feet. The white color is so shiny too. Looks like a new bathtub shower combo to us. All i can say is thanks Mike and the crew for your dedication to this project. Well done! read more

Our apartment complex worked with Mike and his team for our tub reglazing, and I have been highly satisfied with their service. The tub looks brand new, even better than when we first moved in. Mike goes above and beyond to understand the issue and explain what his team will be doing. It has also been great having constant communication with him whenever we have questions. We really appreciate the quality and value of their work and the level of service they provide. read more

We had a fantastic experience with Unique Reglaze. Mike took our old and tired 1950's kitchen and bathroom and made them both look brand new. From start to finish, Mike was stellar- extremely attentive and thorough. I love the result, and I highly recommend Unique Reglaze. Thanks Mike! read more

Good communication and value. A little bit of overspray but they came back and took care of that. The tech unfortunately did not use blue or green tape, it was some sort of red tape killed off a bit the paint that had bubbled along the tile edge due to moisture. I'm not going to fault them for that since it could have likely peeled regardless of the tape used. The test will be how well it was prepped and if it lasts but very happy so far. Will definitely use them on the next one and update this as the years go by or durability. read more

I hired Unique Reglaze to fix a chip in the bathtub at my house. When I initially called for a quote Mike was friendly, explained the entire process and gave me a competitively quote. After hiring him I had to postpone the repair last minute due to a family emergency that prevented me from being home for him to do the work. Mike was very understanding and got me back on the schedule right away. When it came time to do the work, Mike showed up on time and was very friendly. Unfortunately the epoxy patch didn't set right and started to lift on an edge. I brought it up to Mike and he immediately let me know the issue and got me back on the schedule for him to come out and fix it. The second time around the patch and color matching was spot on. I walked in the bathroom after the he completed his work and I couldn't even tell there was ever a chip in the tub. Mike and his team do great work and stand by their quality which is refreshing. I'll definitely be using Unique Reglaze again in the future. read more

Great experience with Mike and the team at Unique Reglaze. Mike was communicative regarding scheduling and forthcoming about pricing. They won't be the cheapest option you get but their work is good quality. Moses, the tech sent by the company to do the reglazing on my tub, was kind and communicative as well- keeping us informed every step of the way. One thing I will say is that I was quoted for the work to take 4 or 5 hrs and it definitely took 8 full hours for the tub reglaze. So keep your full day open just in case. read more

I had my bathtub refinished with Unique Reglaze. I had a fantastic experience with them and highly recommend their services! Because I couldn't be there in person while the work was being done, I was extremely nervous. However, their customer care completely put my mind at ease. Emilio did a great job and was incredibly accommodating, saying yes to all of my requests. When I had a question during the process, Mike immediately went to supervise and ensure everything was handled perfectly. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and excellent service turned a stressful situation into a great experience. Thank you, Emilio and Mike! read more

I requested an estimate through Yelp! and Mike was quick to respond. He thoroughly explained the process and instantly gave me a price. While I received several estimates that were both lower and higher, I decided to work with Unique. Other companies were explaining the process with complications because one of my bowls was chipped. Mike said no problem and made it easy not to worry about extra charges coming up. I am so glad I did. The technicians showed up on time. They covered my hardwood floors, furniture and fixtures nearby. They got to work and maintained my house super clean. When they were done, it's as if they were never here. The work is perfect! I also got maintenance instructions and a three year warranty. I'm incredibly happy. I highly recommend this company! read more

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I scheduled the appointment a week in advance and fully prepared the shower by removing all of the hardware before their arrival. About 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment, I contacted the company to confirm they were still coming. Only then did they call back and tell me they wouldn't be showing up. There had been absolutely no prior notice. After wasting my time and leaving the shower unusable, their only solution was to offer another appointment 10 days later.Based on the poor communication and lack of respect for my time, I wouldn't recommend this company. read more

Mike was quick to respond to my request through Yelp and he is friendly and easy to communicate with. He was clear about pricing, which I thought was reasonable for the job. He came on the day he said he would to refinish a bathtub. The finished job is beautiful and clean. He also provided a page on how to care for it for best results. It hasn't been used yet so I can't provide info on longevity, but so far I can say I was very happy with the quality of his work and would request his services again. read more

Super nice guys but the work was sub-par, my tub had been epoxied previously and according to Mike that epoxy needed to be completely removed before re-glazing. That did not happen. So there were swales and pockmarks, the guy came back to "fix it" but just put another layer on top of the bottom of the tub. So now there's a distinct line and it's not the same color. Also the masking was poorly done so there's overspray on several places. Disappointing to say the least. Will not be using their services for my other tub. read more

These guys did a fantastic job reglazing the old tub in my rental. There were more layers to scrape than originally anticipated, and the original estimate given was honored, even though it took two days to do the job rather than one. Mike offered a follow up touch up at no charge as he wasn't satisfied with how the drain had been finished. They take pride in doing the job well and Mike showed real integrity. I wish I had photos to share. read more

I checked Yelp and unique reglaze was top one, so I tried to contacted him in end of November 2024 ( busy holiday season). He immediately replied me and came to our store for a quote. And in January 2025(after holidays ) he came to our store for the repair. Our customers and employees are very happy for the clean bathroom sink, and I am happy too!
