I cannot recommend this company - just too many issues. We had a bathtub and 2 Pedestal sinks fully reglazed and a kitchen sink chip area patched and spot reglazed. In the beginning Alfredo Garcia communicated to us with email and phone, but we realized he did not always relay information to the workers. His workers were typically late and they were sloppy in my opinion. Never apologized and always had some defensive excuse. The first worker to prep arrived late and did not speak a word of english which made our initial discussions difficult to say the least. We pointed out overspray on nickel plumbing pipes, which they came back to clean up and they initially put masking tape that removed paint on our newly painted door frame after we discussed using low tack tape on all painted surfaces. We did ask and get a credit to have the painter repair the paint. Recently, I have emailed Alfredo 3 times because within 2 months our kitchen sink is peeling at the spot they glazed. No response at all to remedy the situation. Very dissappointing! read more

Had my sink reglazed. Less than a year after it starts to lift. I call no answer. I email and it takes them days to get back to me. They blamed the plumber who installed the faucet and wouldn't honor the warranty. Asked about a repair and got no response. read more

I would not recommend 5 Star Bathtub Reglazing and Refinishing.. To start off, when they did the job on the bathtub, they got white overspray on my newly painted bathroom. Also, the fume exhaust duct tubing from their fan had holes in it and the overspray from the ducting leaked and got white overspray on my leather couch and on my carpeting, which Alfredo had to come back and repair.. The tub glazing chipped, they came to repair the chip but the repair failed within 5 months and is getting worse as time goes on. The glazing is cracking and blistering The photos are attached. I have called them, left voicemails, text messages and emailed Alfredo at Five Star Reglazing, and after numerous attempts to contact them, no one has responded to me. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Had shower re-glazed, and after less than 3 months it started to chip again. It is now a year later and the entire shower floor is peeled again and I need to have it re-glazed again. Company never answered my emails or calls when I reached out to 5starreglazing@gmail.com. The owner sent out a very inexperienced worker that kept calling someone to ask what to do next. I couldn't recommend this place any less, please save your money and find a reputable business that will actually help you when the shoddy work they do starts to peel after just a few months. I'm only writing this review because they never even bothered responding to my calls or emails, so remember that when you decide to do business with them. The $400 price was cheap, but now I know why. read more

3rd tub i had reglazed with them. Very professional, great craftsmanship. Would highly recommend.

David came to reglaze the tub and sink. I must say that he was a MUCH better technician than the previous one. He did a lot of prep work to make sure my appliances in kitchen and my fixtures in bathroom were protected. David spent twice as much time as previous tech and that was reflected in his work. My kitchen sink prior glaze, I was not able to wipe with any cloths or sponges because it was so rough around the side. This glaze is perfect. The sink and the tub glaze was brought up above the grout line, which I think is fantastic. That gives it a much cleaner finish. I have increased my rating to four stars (temporarily). I let everything cure for 5 days (it was recommended 48 hours). I will see how it holds up and revisit in 6 months. read more

They weren't bad but not amazing. We did major remodeling for master bath and elsewhere but decided to Reglaze to save money with guest bathroom tub. Workers were friendly and polite but need little more skill. When I called owner to have them touch up tub corner (it was peeling) they didn't call back nor respond to my two text. Waited two weeks and call the number on website to finally talk to someone. This is not ok. I'm ok for our tub because we did it for resale but if you are going to live there for many years I suggest find other reglazer or gut down to remodel. read more

We had 5 Star reglaze our bath tub/shower a couple of years ago. It's still beautiful as the first day. They did our other shower today. ! I highly recommend 5 Star Reglazing ! read more

I used them 10 years ago and decided it's time to reglaze. They responded right away with an estimate, scheduled an immediate service, and arrived precisely on time. The whole process was fast and painless. Oscar did a fantastic job, above and beyond. The kitchen looks absolutely glorious, and he took great care to protect everything from dust and minimize the fumes. And you couldn't find a better cost. If you compare prices of the competition - which reviews say is so affordable - you will be shocked. I am beyond pleased. P.S. A lot of the negative reviews here are about showers and tubs. Yes, I don't think this method is reliable for surfaces that you repeatedly rub with your feet. But for kitchen sinks and counters, absolutely yes. read more

We had Five Star re-glaze our old bathtub back in May of 2023. Sad to say the job didn't turn out well. The bottom of the tub had what looks like sagging paint. The top of the tub had the texture of sand paper in one area. I called to let the owner know and sent pictures. After some time he called back to let me know he could come back to take a look but no one would be home on that day. I asked if he could come the following week instead and that he would check his schedule. After that I did not hear anymore from them. Definitely not worth the $480 I paid. Wish I had gone with someone more professional to do the job. read more

I contacted Five Star to custom color reglaze a brand new sink, I was asked to show photos and I told them what brand and color Toto toilet I was trying to match. I offered to bring an exact piece of the toilet cover to them to help match. He said he didn't need it and they could custom color match. Quoted me $420 for the custom color reglaze on the powder room sink top, They don't have a shop. They only come to your home. When the technician came to my home he brought a color that wasn't custom, Thankfully he was honest and flagged that his color was too light. He was totally professional He left. I reached out about the custom color matching. Alfredo told me that to match my color I would need to pay extra $150 and find a Sherwin Willams paint chip or spend several hundred dollars to send my toilet cover to a shop Texas to make the custom color. I got a paint chip that was a near perfect match and shared it and photos. I paid the $150 extra and set an appointment, I was told to set aside 4 hours for the process. The technician was done in an hour. When the color dried it was too light: I reached out to Alfredo and said this. No response, The "custom" color was likely the same color the tech brought the first time, I went through the effort to get a chip, match it, wait for the color and the 2nd appointment and paid $150 more than the quote. Just to get a color that doesn't match the paint chip and is likely the same stock color that was brought in the first place. I don't know. I haven't heard from them. I think the quality of the reglaze is fine. It was pretty difficult to peel the tape off because it was glazed, so far it seems to be fine though. Everyone was professional in how they communicated and the technician was respectful and professional. It's just not a custom job and I would warn you about the color match process to make sure you get the color you need. read more

Fivestar reglazing , reglaze my sink in 2014. 10 months later the glazing began to chip off. I contacted the company to repair it under warranty and they will not return my call. Alex keeps answering the phone and telling me Alfredo will call me back and he never does. I've called 5 times over the past two months and still nothing, so I filed a complaint with the BBB. If you are considering doing business with this company, DONT! They will not honor their warranty and will not return your call. Guy who came to resurface our place (don't recall his name) but he didn't even want to work because it was a Saturday and he called his boss and was complaining. I am a real estate broker/property manager with over 100 properties. We have worked with Five Star for over 10 years and have referred them to many clients. Their quality of work is excellent, they always show up when they say they will and their customer service is fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED\! read more

I used Five Star Reglazing & Refinishing to have my old bathroom fixtures reglazed and they did do a nice job. I was told from the owner that I should have the work done BEFORE the contractor's started to work. I hadn't used any reglazing so took them at their word. The contractor's scratched the sink and bathtub and when I called the company t come and try to repair it and told them they said we should do it before the contractor's started he said he would have never said that. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with this company. We had our tub reglazed, which came out terrible. They had to send the technician back the next day to try to fix it. We have reached out to see if there is any sort or warranty with no response. read more

In May, 2022, I had 5 Star Reglazing refinish the shower in my master bathroom. I was very pleased with the initial results, however, I recently noticed some bubbling and peeling of the finish and reached out to Alfredo via phone and email several times over the past couple of weeks. I sent him photos of the affected area and he has pretty much continued to ignore my requests to get the area repaired. Their website "claims" they warranty their work for 3 years which doesn't seem to be the case. I've been totally frustrated and disappointed in their poor customer service. I definitely would not recommend them due to this situation and the lack of response I've experienced in getting the problem corrected. read more

Oscar the technician was very good. Timely, efficient and professional. Did very good work! He stated that I have a 2 year warranty the job. I was in the need of an update to my fiberglass shower since cleaning simply wasn't doing the job any longer and so I began to get quotes and people were saying $5000 to up to $23,000 to fix my shower.. Thank goodness I found Alfredo and his crew man Daniel because they've made my shower look brand new for only $550 Plus he showed up at 8 on the dot and was done in under 3.5 hours. The estimate and invoice process were all quick and seamless and through email. So I didn't need to waste a day just to wait home to get an estimate... then a second visit for the job as with most contractors I just sent a few snapshots and quickly got a professional estimate. Then just need one day off to do job.. Great service! It is everything I needed and way better than I ever expected and it couldn't have turned out better for that price and time involved. Highly recommend 5 Star Reglazing.. You can't go wrong. read more

Maykel showed up on time and got to work preparing the bathroom from the spray. He covered all of our marble counters and undersink cabinets as well as the floors and walls. The sinks turned out great. They are white and have some ridged detail in them. Bothe were cracked, but not leaking. Those were expertly sealed with a product called Tiger Hair which apparently worked. The sinks are seamless and look brand new. We are really pleased. Maykel was very tidy and polite and respectful of our home. Definitely 5 Star! read more

Called this company for an estimate on reglazing. Alfredo came out to my home.. He spent a long time looking at my pool. Never offered information about reglazing or product used. Afterwards I asked about estimate. He said he'd email it to me. Well, it's been a long time since he came to my home. Very unprofessional to not provide an estimate or at least to have courtesy to let me know he was not interested in providing the estimate. A royal waste of time. read more

Five Star Reglazing did an amazing job. Alfredo and his crew was very professional and carried out excellent customer service. They were extremely efficient in scheduling an appointment, arrived ON TIME, and was even willing to explore and tackle removing and replacing a frameless shower door on rollers. The follow up caulking appointment was carried out effectively after allowing the glaze to cure. It is hard to find professional efficient workers who know what they are doing and get the job done. I am totally satisfied with the completion of my tub and have already referred them to others in the event that reglazing becomes a need. We had our kitchen counters, 2 showers & a double master sink reglazed 1.5 years ago and the work is holding up great. We went from beige and pink tiles/sinks to all white and speckled gray. Alfredo and his staff were very easy to work with and coordinated their time with our other contractors since we were in the middle of a remodel. Poor customer service! I contacted this company for a re-glaze of a bathtub and sinks on 3/12.
