After rented out our house for 7 years, there were normal wear and tear in our cabinets, I read the reviews and saw pictures of all those beautiful shaker cabinets of reKitchen and I know immediately to call Jordan. He asked me to text him pictures of the kitchen and was immediately given me a reasonable quote. He came out the measure the kitchen and help me decide on which oven to get since he had to build the cabinet to fit it. Then it took him about 1 week to sand down, spray the kitchen and install the doors. He even built a new custom garbage drawer since the old one is really worn out. He was very diligent and detail with his work and the end result shows exactly what my dream kitchen would be!
Jordon at ReKitchen is just incredible. He's fast, responsive, has a great attitude and is very, VERY talented. He can do just about anything. He refinished my old brown cabinets. He made them white and put glass in the tops ones. The sheen on the cabinets is a beautiful satin and they look brand new. He also gave me valuable input on style. He thought of every details, including self, slow closing doors and of course painted the interior. The next job I booked him for, was to modify new sink cabinets to fit with an under-mount farm sink. They are shaker style cabinets, and he matched the look perfectly. His prices are more than fair, especially for the excellent craftsmanship. I'm really excited to have Jordan in my phone book for all of my future projects.
After 10 years we decided that our kitchen needed a little upgrade. Our cabinets looked outdated and the paint was chipped in various places. We live in Rancho Palos Verdes and started scouring the internet for a quality cabinetry company. We were getting a bit discouraged because we met with a few potential companies but for one reason or another didn't feel completely sold by them. Shortly thereafter we found Jordan at Rekitchen. We called and left a message and he immediately responded. He was extremely knowledgeable and after a few initial questions asked us if we could text him pictures of our kitchen. Within minutes he was able to give us an approximate quote which we agreed was more reasonable than the other companies. We set up a time and date to stop by his shop and he also gave us his IG page to see some of his recent work which we loved. This was our first experience upgrading our cabinetry and we were mainly interested in refacing our cabinets so he showed us some options of modern shaker cabinets that he was working on for another customer. My husband and I agreed that this was the modern style we were looking for. Once we were satisfied with the details he came to our home and took measurements and we set up a date to have the work done while we were out of town. He told us it would take approx 4-5 days to install once the cabinets were made and that's exactly the time it took. Throughout the entire process Jordan answered our text and calls promptly and was professional, kind and knowledgeable. We are extremely happy with our new and improved kitchen and we highly recommend Rekitchen.
After speaking with a few kitchen remodel stores that were either overpriced or unresponsive, we came across Jordan with ReKitchen. He quoted us accurately using just pictures and rough dimensions, was very reasonably priced and quick to respond. He did a wonderful job on refacing our bathroom and kitchen cabinets (new doors and paint cabinet boxes). For the kitchen, he also added open shelving for a modern look, modified cabinets to fit a microwave drawer and a pull out trash drawer, and added rolling shelves for the pantry. We had purchased a home with cabinets that were in good shape but not to the look we wanted for the home. Instead of replacing them, we decided to go the refacing route to save on cost and not waste them since they were relatively new and in good shape. Jordan meticulously listened to what we wanted and provided his opinion on what was possible and what would work better. We went from dark brown drab kitchen cabinets to beautiful white shaker style look that opens up the kitchen. From start to finish Jordan was friendly, responsive, honest and easy to work with. He's clean, knowledgeable, reliable and stayed on schedule as estimated. The high quality of work and attention to detail was the most important for us, I never had to worry that the work wasn't being done right. Anyone who's interested in doing any cabinetry work at all-- we would highly recommend Jordan. We know there are many contractors out there to choose from but if you need someone for your cabinets, you won't find much better!
Jordan did an amazing job! I had poorly installed yellow wood cabinets, and the pantry didn't use the space well. Jordan took what I wanted and created a great pantry space as well as completely overhauled the cabinets. I love them. He is friendly, responsible, responsive, goes above and beyond, and it's obvious he cares about his work and customer satisfaction. I'm calling him soon for the bathrooms!
Amazing work on the kitchen! It has been completely transformed - from old tile and doors barely hanging by old patches to beautiful quartz and clean looking Shaker cabinets. Jordan has great attention to detail - he will get your kitchen right down to the millimeter. Everything was well sanded and the paint looks immaculate. Highly recommend if you want a quality kitchen!
I liked our laminate kitchen cabinets as much today as I did when the house was built in 1998. I was crushed when one of the cabinets was damaged by a water leak that seeped into the laminate. Jordan was kind enough to accept this challenge. He helped me to locate the glossy laminate which was a special order. I am so grateful to Jordan. His talents are amazing as you can see in the attached before and after photos. I highly recommend ReKitchen and Jordan. Thank you so much.
Absolutely blown away at the amazing, impressive job Jordan did on our kitchen!!! Jordan is very detailed oriented and a complete prefectionist. Not only is his work perfection but his pricing is beyond fair. He was HALF the price quoted by Home Depot and HD was using an inferior product! Yes, HD was going to use pressed MDF wrapped in Vinyl (or whatever junk they use) and Jordan used solid wood cabinets, which he primed and painted. There is not one flaw or drip mark, anywhere! My nextdoor neighbors were so impressed they are going to use Jordan, too. Attached are some photos showing the kitchen. It's not quite finished because we're waiting for the island quartz top to be installed. We are beyond happy with Jordan's work and highly recommend!!!!
I have a kitchen built in 1990. The cabinets and drawers were falling out and in poor shape. We wanted to refinish it and also to change the drawer to soft close. I wanted to replace the counter tops and make the whole kitchen look new. After consulting several services we decided to go with rekitchen. it was a wonderful experience. The whole process was quality and efficient. I contacted Jordan and he had me text him some photos. he gave me a quote based on those photos. He didnt try to upsale me and his price was really reasonable and even cheaper than other companies. He was also the only service that would give me all new cabinet doors and drawer faces. He didnt try to resurface them because it wouldnt look as good. We made an appointment. He came over and took measurements. And we agreed on the scope of work and prices that same day. He gave me an exact schedule on when things would be completed and he and his coworker Rome even worked late into the night to get it done on time. He gave me advice on where to get the stones for my countertop and ended up saving me $2-3k on the counter too because his referral was excellent quality and much cheaper. I redid the kitchen my family was away on vacationso that they wouldnt have to deal with not having a kitchen. i stay and worked on own job so i was gone for most of the day. Jordan and Rome would let themselves into the house and then lock up when they leave. They really took care of my house while I was at work. I would come back home and the place would be really clean even though they were working there. I really couldnt be more comfortable. I have used a lot of contractors before and I am most satisfied with this project! Would recommend Jordon and his team to my own family! I posted before and after pictures so you can see what we did! Also I forgot to say. He help us save the backsplash. other services said they would have to remove it. this saved us another couple of thousand dollars because we did not have to get a new backsplash.
We hired reKitchen to reface the cabinets in our 1940s kitchen- we are incredibly happy with how it turned out! Jordan and Rome put in a ton of work getting our tired cabinets looking brand new. Jordan's pricing was very fair and he added in extra touches we had requested (like a custom spice rack built into the old ironing board cabinet!). We love our new kitchen, and so recommend reKitchen!
I highly recommend reKitchen. Jordan was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, on-time, and very competitive price-wise. From start to finish they made the process easy. Jordan was flexible along the way, offering to make adjustments when we decided to upgrade hardware mid-way through the project. They did a great job on our kitchen cabinets (painted cabinet boxes, replaced doors and hardware, added two large cupboard drawers, replaced all hinges with soft-close type). They also did the same for two bathroom vanities. We could not be more pleased!
Jordan was excellent to work with! He was fair and reasonable on his job quote and was always responsive in handling any questions or issues I had throughout the project and afterwards. We have had so many compliments on the cabinets and countertops that were done! Thank you Jordan!
Jordan made our kitchen reno dreams come true! We didn't have budget to do a full kitchen remodel so we met with Jordan and shared our vision, which he brought to life (on time and in budget!). Jordan was an absolute pleasure to work with...responsive, professional, his attention to detail and perfectionist attitude really shows through in his excellent work. We've already referred Jordan to our friends and family looking for a little kitchen facelift. Thanks again Jordan! We love our rekitchen!

We were lucky to find reKitchen on yelp. Jordan responded so quickly and was able to help our vision come to life. As our first remodel experience we were expecting high stress, but I can honestly say it was a pretty seamless experience. We highly recommend reKitchen. The ability to see a 3D rendering of the design before the start was so helpful. All the workers were trustworthy, knowledgeable and nice. I've personally recommended reKitchen to friends. read more

We found ReKitchen through Yelp and connected with Jordan shortly after. He invited us to his shop where he does all his cabinet cutting onsite and we were amazed! We had a very specific look in mind for our kitchen and bar and were not able to find in other pre-fab cabinet shops. Jordan offered to customize the doors for us! Over the next several months we worked on a new kitchen and bar layout. We sent him many pictures for inspiration and we had back and forth communication on style, layout, and functionality. Jordan's attention to detail and design suggestions were above our expectations! The overall cost of the project was well within the range of other quotes we received that did not include the customize doors we wanted. The project was extensive and Jordan being the perfectionist he is, would come over so often that our toddler started calling him by name and recognizing his truck! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a personalized experience in creating beautiful high quality cabinets for their home. read more

Jordan did such a great job on our kitchen cabinets... way better than we expected. We went from old brown cabinets to two- toned white and beige ones. Jordan was very good at listening to our needs, offering good suggestions, communicating with us when necessary, and meeting our deadlines. He really takes pride in his work and offers his services for a reasonable price. He painted with a sprayer, added the hardware, and even installed a new toekick. We've received so many compliments. We still have to paint the walls and do the floors, but our kitchen revamp is really coming along well thanks to him. read more

Jordan with reKitchen did an AMAZING job on refacing my kitchen, service porch, bathroom, and hallway cabinets (Big Job). I am blown away with Jordan's work and absolutely love the end results. I was remodeling my kitchen (Kitchen designed by DesignStudio27) and wanted to change my cabinets from a dark reddish finish to white cabinets. I was referred to reKitchen by a close friend who had used them for their cabinets. SOOOO GLAD FOR THE REFERRAL. Working with Jordan has been a complete pleasure from the first day we met to the final day of my project. When we first met, Jordan explained the process of refacing my cabinets (I thought he would just paint them). We decided on new Shafer door style, new drawers, everything soft close, updated trim and new door/drawers handles. I also loved that I was able to select the custom color I wanted for my cabinets. The quote that he provided was fair and affordable. I am truly impressed by the level of detail that was taken at each step of the way. From the prep work, painting of the cabinets, installation of the doors/drawers/handles, clean up and any final touchup/finish work that was needed. The equipment that he uses is top of the line and he make sure that your house/walls are well protected from paint fumes. Because of the excellent quality of work that was done in my kitchen, I decided to reface my service porch cabinets, bathroom cabinets and a hallway cabinets. There is a reason why reKitchen has 5 stars review, . Everything you read from varies customers reviews are true. reKitchen is the best, Jordan is AWESOME. I'm an upload some before and after pictures. You can see for yourself how beautiful the kitchen is now. read more

We bought a house with old wood kitchen cabinets from the 1960s that looked too old fashion for our taste. Need to move-in in about a month and tried to reach out to few cabinet specialists via Yelp. Jordan provided a prompt response and a very reasonable quote to reface the cabinets and built a custom pantry. During the process he provided great communication, many creative suggestions and finished the project on time. We are really happy with the result and will definitely recommend his service. Thanks Jordan for the great work that totally transformed our kitchen :) read more

Wow! We recommend Jordan and ReKitchen to anyone interested in updating their cabinets. We were in the process of renovating our house, and were considering various options for the kitchen. During our search of cabinet specialists, we came across ReKitchen and reached out to Jordan. He was able to quickly and accurately provide an estimate based on a couple of photos, and said he would be able to accommodate our timeline as we were having other work done in the house. Jordan's estimate was fair, affordable, and a huge cost savings over complete cabinet replacements. When Jordan came over to take detailed measurements, we asked him if (in addition to installing new cabinet doors) he would also be able to change the layout of a few cabinets to further improve the look of our kitchen. To our surprise, he said the custom updates would not be an issue and offered a few good suggestions that we hadn't even thought of. Jordan came back to install the custom built cabinets early, so as not to disrupt the rest of the kitchen renovation schedule. He then came back a final time to paint the cabinet boxes in our color of choice, install the new doors and add new cabinet hardware. The work was completed within the promised timeline with no surprises. Not only is Jordan easy to work with, he is a great communicator and truly is an expert in his craft. He went above and beyond our expectations and demonstrated great attention to detail every step of the way. My wife and I were blown away with Jordan's work and love the end product. read more

I normally don't write reviews but felt compelled to write this overdue one for reKitchen. Jordan is a miracle worker!! Our lower cabinets and sink/dishwasher area were completely demolished due to a leak. We were specific in what we wanted which was to rebuild our lower cabinet to match our existing kitchen, refinish in white and change out the countertops and backsplash. We went through several contractors only for them to tell us that it was not possible to match new lower cabinets to the existing ones. That it would "not be a good look". It was not possible to change from dark to light cabinets, etc. Pretty much all of them were pushing for a full remodel which would have costed more than double our budget. I reached out to Jordan with these exact photos and right away he was honest and told me that he doesn't refinish oak cabinets because of the grain but that he can reface the doors and paint the boxes white. He also said that he could rebuild the lower cabinet to match the rest of the kitchen and gave me a very fair quote. As a bonus he knew someone who could fabricate and install a new backsplash and countertops. This took a lot of work out of having to find a countertop specialist for our project. This was our first time doing any kind of renovation and I was anxious throughout the process. I had a lot of questions but Jordan was always patient and professional. He really went above and beyond our expectations and offered advice when needed. He knew we wanted white quartz countertops and backsplash so went out and provided samples and gave us his advice on what he thought would look good. We trusted his opinion based on the work on his website. We had really old drawers and without being pushy, he suggested that we replace them and even gave us a really great deal because he thought it would be a huge improvement. He was absolutely right and we are SO glad we took his advice. One night he even stayed behind by 2 hours perfecting the side of one of the cabinets that needed the grain to be filled and painted. In the end we pretty much got a brand new kitchen within our budget and we could not be happier. Our kitchen is so much brighter, cleaner and the new cabinet doors and drawers are actually more functional. We highly recommend reKitchen and will definitely be reaching out for future projects. read more

Jordan and his colleague Ramel did a fantastic job refacing our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Although our existing cabinets did not look bad, the Thermafoil covering on them was beginning to crack and peel away from the cabinet frames and doors. Adding new maple panels to the frames, sanding and painting the frames, and adding new painted wood cabinet doors/drawer faces made an incredible difference. Jordan and Ramel were precise, careful and clean throughout the process, from taking measurements to fixing and sanding the cabinet frames, to installing the new cabinet/drawer faces in perfect position. They work hard, long hours, and their pride in their work shows in the finished product. This was the first time I had hired a contractor based solely on Yelp reviews, and in this instance I was very happy that I did. read more

Jordan helped transform our kitchen from a dark, boring galley kitchen to a bright, modern space that is a pleasure to be in. We were thinking of only repainting our cabinets, but after realizing they should really be replaced we decided to do a complete refacing. I found Jordan on Yelp based on his reviews and he was very responsive, and even able to give me an estimate through messaging. The estimate was much more reasonable than any other refacing company I reached out to and we decided to move forward rather quickly. Days later, Jordan came to take measurements of our kitchen (including a space where he built in a new cabinet) and ordered the doors. We sent him the paint color we wanted and within weeks he was back to redo our kitchen. He worked tirelessly for three days to get the job done. and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. We did not change the countertop or tiling, and the kitchen looks completely remodeled just based on modern, slow-closing cabinets, door pulls, and a stellar paint job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jordan if you're looking to update your kitchen. read more

In an effort to support local small businesses in the community that I reside, I found reKitchen with positive reviews. I initiated contact with Jordan Dano through email with pictures and the request for kitchen cabinet refacing. Based on the information that I provided, Jordan was able to give me an estimate right away which was reasonable. An on-site appointment was made in which we spoke in greater detail and he happily answered all of the questions that I had regarding availability, time frame, addition of pull out shelves, soft close hinges/slides, rehabilitation of broken trash pull out, and the entire process. He was extremely knowledgeable about cabinet refacing in addition to full on kitchen renovations as he has background as a general contractor and the means for countertops, engineering of buildings, computer aided design (CAD) plans, building codes, permits, etc. In my case, I was looking to merely modernize an outdated looking kitchen. After a deposit, ordering of the cabinet door/drawer fronts, and two tone paint color choices, the project took 4 days to finish with my complete satisfaction. Jordan and Ramel are both personable, professional, and diligent workers. Flooring and surrounding areas were protected from sanding, debris, and paint throughout the project. At the end of each day and upon completion, Ramel made sure to clean up after so our home was treated with respect. It was a pleasure to work with reKitchen as they prioritize client service/satisfaction from beginning to end. read more

We hired Jordan to refinish our kitchen cabinets which included replacing the cabinet door/drawer fronts, installing soft-close hinges and drawer slides, and installing an additional cabinet above our washer/dryer. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome as well as the entire process. From start to finish Jordan was a pleasure to work with. HIGHLY Recommend!! Jordan is seriously an artist. Our kitchen was drab, dark and dated, but I didn't need to gut it, nor did I have the money to. I did extensive research (and I mean, I looked at ALL the cabinet options and companies in all of LA County, save yourself the time and just go with Jordan:). ReKitchen offered the best price and the best timeline and based on other reviews about quality, I went with ReKitchen. I am SO HAPPY that we did!! The transformation was INSANE, it's like a totally new kitchen. I have never done a home improvement project like this and Jordan was super patient with my questions, and helped me decide on the best paint color/type that would have the best result, even helping with my quest for low/no VOCs. And look at the pics!! It turned out EXACTLY how I was hoping it would! I went with a bright cheerful color, and it's so beautiful. He redid all the drawers entirely, and they're perfect. The soft close hinges are so lovely. The quality of work is so good, you would never guess they weren't entirely gutted and remodeled. We LOVE our kitchen now. It's modern and yet has personality, is really easy to clean and feels durable. I'll post before and after photos so you can see for yourself. THANK YOU, Jordan, for being a perfectionist and an artist!! :):) read more

The cabinet finish is great and he was patient with me as I labored over choosing a color. He was open to ideas and made the kitchen remodel easier then anticipated. He worked with a fabricator for counters and had great suggestions for interior cabinet storage including the corner cabinet areas that are now so easy to access! Would highly recommend! read more

Jordan was fantastic. I hired him to reface some existing, old cabinets. He replaced all doors and drawers. The finished product was absolutely excellent. I have done a lot of work with a lot of contractors, and I can say that Jordan is top drawer. I'll post some photos of the kitchen after Jordan finished the cabinets. read more

We used Jordan / reKitchen to reface and build custom cabinetry and an island for our kitchen remodel is South Redondo. By far, it was the best decision we made. I hand selected all the subs and Jordan was the best. He is a master at his trade and a perfectionist, which sets him apart from the competition. Attention to detail, ability to problem solve on-site, providing design advice are just few of his traits. He incorporated custom design elements and the results exceeded expectations. I provided Jordan with pictures and he turned our vision into a reality. He built a custom vent hood for our range hood insert, custom bump-outs for the range, a base cabinet to accommodate a farmhouse sink, and a 6' island with space for a drawer style microwave, soft close hinges for all cabinet doors and soft close glides for all drawers. Measurements were exact and the results speak for themselves. His price was also the most competitive of the 3 proposals that we received. I highly recommend Jordan / reKitchen for kitchen cabinet work. Best decision that we made, thanks Jordan. read more
