After 10 years we decided that our kitchen needed a little upgrade. Our cabinets looked outdated and the paint was chipped in various places. We live in Rancho Palos Verdes and started scouring the internet for a quality cabinetry company. We were getting a bit discouraged because we met with a few potential companies but for one reason or another didn't feel completely sold by them. Shortly thereafter we found Jordan at Rekitchen. After speaking with a few kitchen remodel stores that were either overpriced or unresponsive, we came across Jordan with ReKitchen. He quoted us accurately using just pictures and rough dimensions, was very reasonably priced and quick to respond. He did a wonderful job on refacing our bathroom and kitchen cabinets (new doors and paint cabinet boxes). For the kitchen, he also added open shelving for a modern look, modified cabinets to fit a microwave drawer and a pull out trash drawer, and added rolling shelves for the pantry. We had purchased a home with cabinets that were in good shape but not to the look we wanted for the home. Instead of replacing them, we decided to go the refacing route to save on cost and not waste them since they were relatively new and in good shape. I wanted to replace the counter tops and make the whole kitchen look new. After consulting several services we decided to go with rekitchen. it was a wonderful experience. The whole process was quality and efficient. I contacted Jordan and he had me text him some photos. he gave me a quote based on those photos. He didnt try to upsale me and his price was really reasonable and even cheaper than other companies. He was also the only service that would give me all new cabinet doors and drawer faces. He didnt try to resurface them because it wouldnt look as good. We made an appointment. He came over and took measurements. And we agreed on the scope of work and prices that same day. Wow! We recommend Jordan and ReKitchen to anyone interested in updating their cabinets. We were in the process of renovating our house, and were considering various options for the kitchen. During our search of cabinet specialists, we came across ReKitchen and reached out to Jordan. He was able to quickly and accurately provide an estimate based on a couple of photos, and said he would be able to accommodate our timeline as we were having other work done in the house. Jordan's estimate was fair, affordable, and a huge cost savings over complete cabinet replacements. I normally don't write reviews but felt compelled to write this overdue one for reKitchen. Jordan is a miracle worker!! Our lower cabinets and sink/dishwasher area were completely demolished due to a leak. We were specific in what we wanted which was to rebuild our lower cabinet to match our existing kitchen, refinish in white and change out the countertops and backsplash. We went through several contractors only for them to tell us that it was not possible to match new lower cabinets to the existing ones. That it would "not be a good look". It was not possible to change from dark to light cabinets, etc. Pretty much all of them were pushing for a full remodel which would have costed more than double our budget. I reached out to Jordan with these exact photos and right away he was honest and told me that he doesn't refinish oak cabinets because of the grain but that he can reface the doors and paint the boxes white. He also said that he could rebuild the lower cabinet to match the rest of the kitchen and gave me a very fair quote. As a bonus he knew someone who could fabricate and install a new backsplash and countertops. This took a lot of work out of having to find a countertop specialist for our project. This was our first time doing any kind of renovation and I was anxious throughout the process. I had a lot of questions but Jordan was always patient and professional. He really went above and beyond our expectations and offered advice when needed. He knew we wanted white quartz countertops and backsplash so went out and provided samples and gave us his advice on what he thought would look good.
