After 10 years we decided that our kitchen needed a little upgrade. Our cabinets looked outdated and the paint was chipped in various places. We live in Rancho Palos Verdes and started scouring the internet for a quality cabinetry company. We were getting a bit discouraged because we met with a few potential companies but for one reason or another didn't feel completely sold by them. Shortly thereafter we found Jordan at Rekitchen. We called and left a message and he immediately responded. He was extremely knowledgeable and after a few initial questions asked us if we could text him pictures of our kitchen. Within minutes he was able to give us an approximate quote which we agreed was more reasonable than the other companies. We set up a time and date to stop by his shop and he also gave us his IG page to see some of his recent work which we loved. This was our first experience upgrading our cabinetry and we were mainly interested in refacing our cabinets so he showed us some options of modern shaker cabinets that he was working on for another customer. After speaking with a few kitchen remodel stores that were either overpriced or unresponsive, we came across Jordan with ReKitchen. He quoted us accurately using just pictures and rough dimensions, was very reasonably priced and quick to respond. He did a wonderful job on refacing our bathroom and kitchen cabinets (new doors and paint cabinet boxes). For the kitchen, he also added open shelving for a modern look, modified cabinets to fit a microwave drawer and a pull out trash drawer, and added rolling shelves for the pantry. We had purchased a home with cabinets that were in good shape but not to the look we wanted for the home. Instead of replacing them, we decided to go the refacing route to save on cost and not waste them since they were relatively new and in good shape. Not only is his work perfection but his pricing is beyond fair. He was HALF the price quoted by Home Depot and HD was using an inferior product! Yes, HD was going to use pressed MDF wrapped in Vinyl (or whatever junk they use) and Jordan used solid wood cabinets, which he primed and painted. There is not one flaw or drip mark, anywhere! I have a kitchen built in 1990. The cabinets and drawers were falling out and in poor shape. We wanted to refinish it and also to change the drawer to soft close. I wanted to replace the counter tops and make the whole kitchen look new. After consulting several services we decided to go with rekitchen. it was a wonderful experience. The whole process was quality and efficient. I contacted Jordan and he had me text him some photos. he gave me a quote based on those photos. He didnt try to upsale me and his price was really reasonable and even cheaper than other companies. He was also the only service that would give me all new cabinet doors and drawer faces. He didnt try to resurface them because it wouldnt look as good. We made an appointment. He came over and took measurements. And we agreed on the scope of work and prices that same day. He gave me an exact schedule on when things would be completed and he and his coworker Rome even worked late into the night to get it done on time. He gave me advice on where to get the stones for my countertop and ended up saving me $2-3k on the counter too because his referral was excellent quality and much cheaper. I redid the kitchen my family was away on vacationso that they wouldnt have to deal with not having a kitchen. i stay and worked on own job so i was gone for most of the day. Jordan and Rome would let themselves into the house and then lock up when they leave. They really took care of my house while I was at work. I would come back home and the place would be really clean even though they were working there. I really couldnt be more comfortable. I normally don't write reviews but felt compelled to write this overdue one for reKitchen. Jordan is a miracle worker!! Our lower cabinets and sink/dishwasher area were completely demolished due to a leak. We were specific in what we wanted which was to rebuild our lower cabinet to match our existing kitchen, refinish in white and change out the countertops and backsplash. We went through several contractors only for them to tell us that it was not possible to match new lower cabinets to the existing ones. That it would "not be a good look". It was not possible to change from dark to light cabinets, etc. Pretty much all of them were pushing for a full remodel which would have costed more than double our budget. I reached out to Jordan with these exact photos and right away he was honest and told me that he doesn't refinish oak cabinets because of the grain but that he can reface the doors and paint the boxes white. He also said that he could rebuild the lower cabinet to match the rest of the kitchen and gave me a very fair quote. As a bonus he knew someone who could fabricate and install a new backsplash and countertops. This took a lot of work out of having to find a countertop specialist for our project. This was our first time doing any kind of renovation and I was anxious throughout the process. I had a lot of questions but Jordan was always patient and professional. I initiated contact with Jordan Dano through email with pictures and the request for kitchen cabinet refacing. Based on the information that I provided, Jordan was able to give me an estimate right away which was reasonable. An on-site appointment was made in which we spoke in greater detail and he happily answered all of the questions that I had regarding availability, time frame, addition of pull out shelves, soft close hinges/slides, rehabilitation of broken trash pull out, and the entire process.
