We got lucky. As part of a whole house remodel, we elected to have Haynes Cabinetry change out our kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. We spent a huge amount of time and effort, researching different cabinetry companies in order to find the right match for us. It became clear as we researched that there is a big dividing line within the cabinetry industry. Most typically there are guys who have table saws, and tape measures and they proceed to chop up wood and nail it together. However, a more recent development in the cabinetry business is what we were looking for. The most advanced companies come out, take measurements of the room and then design the cabinetry on a three dimensional computer system. This provides a way of essentially seeing what you're going to create before you even make one bit of sawdust. Once an optimized design is finalized, the wood parts are cut up and drilled by computer controlled machines, that very precisely control the dimensions of the wood parts to within only a few thousands of an inch. At that point the wood panels are simply put together with very little effort and essentially no corrective measures being needed. The result is a cabinet assembly that comes out essentially perfect. All drawers are precisely in line, everything fits pretty much perfectly. And this is how Haynes cabinetry operates. Along with Haynes, using the most advanced methods of creating cabinetry, throughout our project, they continually displayed a most proactive approach to dealing with us. At no point during the project, did we ever have to ask to have something done a second time. Everything we asked was taken care of, and taken care of with a smile. It was as if we were having friends that we've known for years come over and perform this work, they were amazing! Looking back at our home remodel, it is clear that Haynes cabinetry led the pack with regards to comparing them with the other contractors that we had involved in our project. In December 2020 I lost my husband to Covid. He was working on a wall unit for our bedroom to match the bed, he had already made out of mahogany. When he got sick he was 80% done. His best friend installed the cabinets for me, but the 4 Cabinet doors still needed to be made along with trimming things out so I could call it finished. Charles and Haynes Cabinet Design were awesome to work with. Charles helped us design a new recessed top/bottom cabinet in our kitchen breakfast nook that matched the rest of our cabinets and provided a practical yet elegant space. He provided multiple design options that met our needs but not too many to be overwhelming. And he was super helpful as we bounced ideas around hemming and hawing on which design we ultimately wanted. The work was impeccable and we are super happy with the outcome. His crew was also super friendly and super clean which was great. Charles has also been super responsive well after the install with any questions we have had. Our 2.5 year old daughter decided pulling apart one of the drawer hinges would be a fun project while we weren't looking and Charles helped get us a replacement hinge in short order. We had 5 bathroom cabinets updated, contracting only for new doors and trim, and Charles made us all new cabinets for a small price extra. They look great and updated the bathrooms without doing anything else! The job was estimated to take three days and would have but we kept finding plumbing issues that the workman couldn't fix. Charles talked to the Plumber we always use and paid him to fix the pipes the way they should be fixed. Done and done. Not particularly cheap but neither re the materials they used. Haynes Cabinet Design is the best! Five stars are not enough! We met with Charles Haynes awhile ago to review plans for a new kitchen. He was very patient and explained how everything could be done. Although it's more expensive, we decided on all wood cabinets. We had a lot of ideas and some included custom work to be created. Then he brought out a wish book and even more things needed to be considered for the layout. I was able to work with his designer to be sure everything would fit properly and, of course, this took awhile to finalize. I even suggested a special quartz counter top that he was able to track down and order for us. Everything was planning out so well we decided to include our master bath vanity area as well. The cabinets were delivered in a timely fashion and were carefully inspected. Anything that had a problem was quickly sent back for replacement. There was even a door or drawer front that was redone and I never saw what was wrong. The crews were professional and did their work well. They came in on time with great attitudes, had a good team spirit and did a fantastic job. It was amazing to watch - from the initial layout, base installation, installing and leveling the cabinets, counter top installs, and final details like drawer knob and handle alignments and glass insets in some cabinet doors. Charles and the install boys did a great job on our kitchen remodel. We've had a couple of months to live and settle in the new space and love everything about our new kitchen. We selected the cabinet style and told Charles about a few desires we had regarding trash cabinet, spice cabinet and corner lazy Susan cabinet. Most options were available but the spice cabinet was a custom build. It did take a couple of iterations, but Charles worked to get things perfect and us happy with the results.
