I had Dennis concept and create a custom pantry to replace an old space & cabinet in our kitchen. We worked together off the dimensions and he built the new Pantry and added paint and replicate hardware to add to our existing kitchen Cabinets. Price and time was reasonable and he was responsive to time challenges. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dennis for your custom wood working needs. read more

What can I say about Cassidy Wood Designs? I gave Dennis a challenging job which is to take a RTA cabinet and custom fabricate it in a way where it can accomodate an aftermarket Chinese range hood vent. Where many told me it was rather difficult and the cost was extremely high, Dennis assured me he can do it. He took his time and that was what I was looking for. Someone that takes things slow, understands the problem and then thinks about the solution. Dennis really saved me on this mishap on my construction project. I'm glad I waited to give him the opportunity to try and fabricate something that I had envisioned and he nailed it. read more

We were getting quartz kitchen countertops installed and wanted a table/island built so we could get quartz installed on the table to match. It had to be built to exact measurements and strong enough to withstand the weight of the quartz. Dennis built a quality table, matched the paint to our kitchen cabinets, and we love it! We have had it for one year now and it still looks great! Thanks, Dennis! We will reach out when we have another project for you! read more

Super quick response to my request. Although they were not able to help me, they were up front about it. To me that shows integrity.

Dennis did an AMAZING job building a custom cabinet for an alcove in our primary bedroom. He was super professional, always on time, very responsive to texts/calls and stuck to the deadline he agreed to. Hands down the best vendor I've worked with across all types of tradesmen. His pricing was very fair and reflected the excellent quality of work he did for us. Couldn't be happier and will no doubt hire him for future projects. Thank you, Dennis! read more

I needed a privacy screen for my wall, as the existing wall was too low. I also wanted it to add beauty to my backyard. Dennis came up with the design, helped me choose the color, and created the perfect design solution. I love it!! I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. The price was very reasonable, and Dennis was very honest and upfront about the challenges, and consulted with me through the whole job, to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Dennis is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I hired him to help us with some custom built in medicine cabinets and some cabinet door fronts that hadn't been finished. He came in with a positive attitude and ready to get the job done. I was worried about the job being too small and a little worried he wouldn't be interested. He treated us like a first class client. He touched base with us, sent us photos, arrived on time and kept the timeline he originally gave us! My husband is extremely picky and was very well satisfied with the work. It was exactly as we requested and stunning. I highly recommend Dennis! read more

Dennis helped us transform an odd little nook into a functional, aesthetically pleasing built-in! From the start, Dennis listened to what we needed and made thoughtful recommendations to make sure we'd get the most utility out of the space. For example, we have three pull out shelves within the bottom cabinet which allows us even more functionality. Dennis was also incredibly detail oriented, ensuring that the paint and finish matched our kitchen, that the cabinet would integrate with the baseboards, and even the stain for the middle section. What stood out most to us was how passionate Dennis is about building high quality projects. He's responsive, funny and fun to talk to, and someone I can't wait to work with again. read more

Dennis designed and built a custom cabinet for us. We had a fireplace removed when we remodeled but it remained as an empty space underneath our TV. Dennis listened to what we wanted and designed something that's not only functional (it holds a victrola on a slide out drawer) but looks like it is part and of the original space. Dennis paid attention to every detail and made sure the finished cabinet looks beautiful. read more

We absolutely love our wall unit. Dennis and Michelle nailed our vision. They listened to our requests and asked questions along the way to ensure the outcome was what we expected. It was one of the smoothest home improvement transactions we have done. They checked all the boxes. We look forward to working with them again and highly recommended them for your project. read more

Cassidy Custom goes above and beyond. Dennis worked with me through a couple iterations for an entertainment center. He sent me dimensions and suggestions to ensure he built something that would fit what I wanted. The build was great quality and sturdy. We noticed there was a spot missing a bit of wood stain and Dennis was able to follow up with a touch up at a convenient time to ensure the product was complete. Great service, overall read more

I was desperately searching for someone who could make my vision come true for our home. After doing some online searches, I called the only Carpenter I could find who informed me that the pieces I was inquiring about weren't his expertise...he referred me to Dennis!! I have no idea who that person is anymore as I never kept his information but I wish I could go back and thank him, because finding Dennis has been an absolute dream come true. I contacted him and he picked up right away and together we started our first of many projects. I had a vision for our office desk and had seen something similar that had poor reviews and dimensions that didn't quite work for our space. Dennis came over to measure the area and in a very short time had the exact item I envisioned completed and delivered into our home office! From there, we tackled the entryway console table, which also turned out perfect. He created it exactly how I wanted it and most importantly, got the stain color to match my floors! I am very particular about the woods in my house matching...(Dennis learned that very quickly about me and I love that he respected that and never gave me a hard time about it! There are times that he would call me and tell me that he found the perfect white oak for my next project that he was working on, and that always brought a smile to my face.) From there, he created a flower box for our dining table when other companies told me to just buy two or three of their's in order to make it the dimensions that I was looking for. It was silly of me not to go straight to Dennis, but when it clicked that he could absolutely make it for me he of course did (in less than one week) After that, he made the couch side arm rest, which I had actually purchased from the sofa company when purchasing the sofa. They were made so poorly and within just a few weeks, they splintered/cracked and completely fell apart on me. I called Dennis who came over, measured the armrests, and made two new ones exactly how I wanted them. Lastly, and although it's very hard to choose my favorite, this project just might be the one! I wanted a book stand in the corner. I immediately called Dennis, worked out the measurements with him and within a few weeks the project was also complete. I love that he was determined to find a way to include the metal base on our office table and that he also added brass trim to the legs of the book stand. That just goes to show you that he is dedicated to each project and wants it to be exactly what you as the customer had in mind. Don't think twice. He is incredible and I am heartbroken to think I don't have any projects coming up soon for our house! I'm sure I'll come up with something but in the meantime, I love that friends of mine are reaching out to him and that I get to see his beautiful work when I go to their homes! read more

Dennis built some beautiful indoor furniture for my neighbor and she highly recommended him for my project. I gave him some photos of what I was looking for and he quickly drew it up, estimated the material cost, and submitted 2 different wood options for me (large swing in cost). We received 2 other bids and Dennis' price was the most competitive. He completed my garden dreams and I'm so grateful we found him! The attention to detail that he gave my outdoor garden beds was definitely not something I expected for this type of project. He simply can't help it. One of the gates became unleveled as it settled and he came right over to fix it. I know I can call him with questions/concerns because he stands behind his work. Thank you, Dennis! read more
