Extremely happy with the cabinets that Justin delivered. Looks exactly like the renderings he shared with us. Justin is very detail oriented and meticulous. The crew was clean and on time. read more

I wanted a built in cabinet in a bedroom with a weird alcove. It was a fairly small project, but luckily when I called Justin at JH Carpentry he came out to give me a quote. I asked him to make it look like it was supposed to be there rather than an afterthought. He gave me some great suggestions, kept in communication, met his timelines, and it came out even better than I had envisioned. His pricing was also really reasonable and the quality of the cabinet is excellent. His installation team was professional, friendly, and efficient. So happy that I found JH Carpentry and will use them when I redo my kitchen! read more

My neighbors had used JH's services for a couple of projects so I decided to reach out to get an estimate for a similar project. I had previously reached out for a quote, but that was a while back. So back in August I sent a Yelp message to get in contact for an updated estimate, but I got no reply. I called and left a voicemail and also no reply. I sent another message via Yelp in early September, but again no reply. I called a couple more times and left voicemails, but still no reply. It is unfortunate that JH hasn't been responsive especially since they did a good job on my neighbors construction. read more

The service and labor were amazing and very professional. Justin and his staff completed the kitchen cabinets in less than two weeks. It was a kitchen remodel with new floors, appliances, counter tops, etc. Eventually, the final painting and installation took a little longer. The finish design is totally worth it! Very pleased with the JH. read more

Where do I even begin? Justin is an absolute straight shooter and was great to work with. He was very prompt in responding to my request and got me a quote on the project very quickly. He sent his design proposal via email and he completely nailed what we were looking for. Justin showed up on time for the project and was finished in his quoted time. No more or no less. Very professional and the craftsmanship was fantastic. All in all, I am super impressed with JH Carpentry regarding professionalism, quality and price. You cannot go wrong with JH carpentry. My dream of having built-ins for a media center is now a BEAUTIFUL REALITY!!! From the first phone call I had with Justin to the actual day of the installation, the entire process and experience has been wonderful :). I researched and contacted numerous carpenters and woodwork/cabinet companies, but the initial phone conversation I had with Justin made me feel confident that he is the guy I want to hire for the job! His prices are fair/reasonable, he made me feel comfortable and was helpful in answering all of my questions! I sent him inspirational pictures of what I was looking for and Justin was able to design and provide an estimate within a couple of days. After the installation of my 14 foot media center, it looks incredible and I am SO ECSTATIC/HAPPY!!! Once the project was completed, there was no saw dust and all the debris was vacuumed, neat and clean :). He does extraordinary work and attention to detail is spot on! I will definitely contact Justin for any future custom projects I need around the house and highly recommend JH Carpentry to anyone who needs wood working done. Thank you very much :)!!! read more

Excellent craftsmanship! He has great ideas and did amazing work on my wine fridge installation.

Justin just delivered and installed our new cabinet bench and I am extremely impressed. Very happy with the end product. Even the installation was quick and he cleaned up well after himself. Justin had good communication throughout the whole process, completed the work in a timely manner, and offered a very fair price. I will definitely recommend JH to all my friends. read more

Loved the custom desk/shelves Justin built for us! He's quick to respond to all our questions and reliable on his expected timelines. Such great quality work while having to deal with our uneven walls and my special drawer requests. My husband and I would just stare at our new desk lit up at night ... We're so happy with it! I'm sure my husband will leave a more detailed review but just had to leave one for myself as well, because I'm so happy the way it turned out. Thank you justin! read more

Customer service at JH Carpentry is amazing. I received very thorough quotes; the owner was very responsive and helpful in answering my plethora of questions. The pricing seems fair, and I am, overall, pleased with my time working with them. read more

Absolute professional! Justin is an unbelievable skilled craftsman with great attention to detail. He has done several custom built Ins and projects at our home and we cannot recommend him highly enough. After he discusses the project with you, he then creates an actual computer diagram of it. This is often the missing component to finish carpentry. Much detail can be lost in communication and so when the carpenter creates the said design, it is some times not what you envisioned. This detail that Justin provides is beyond helpful. We really appreciate his work. read more

Justin did a fantastic job delivering on our home office needs. From the initial conversation to the final execution, his professionalism and quality of work was exceptional. We wanted floating shelves with a floating desk in white oak. We provided him with inspiration pics and he came up with a drawing and quote shortly thereafter. He answered all the little design questions we had and found solutions for each of our requests. Thank you for giving us a space we could only dream of! We ended up taking our kitchen remodel in a different direction due to unexpected budget constraints, but I wanted to write Justin a review solely for how easy he has been to communicate with! Of all the many contractors we have contacted for our home projects, Justin has been far and away the most responsive and timely. He generously gave us an estimated quote prior to seeing our home, just so we had a good idea of a ballpark figure. He was extremely flexible with me scheduling (and then rescheduling) a walkthrough of our home. I would definitely work with Justin in the future and would highly recommend his work ethic, which seems so rare to come by these days! read more

Justin has completed multiple projects for our family and he never ceases to amaze us. He is extremely precise, uses quality materials, and is always creative when it comes to figuring out how to make things work. We've never had to second guess anything he has built for us. We wanted new Shaker style wood fronts for over 30 kitchen cabinet doors and drawers, and feel so fortunate to have found Justin for our remodel. Justin returned our call promptly and scheduled a visit to review the project. He provided fast & courteous service at a reasonable price. He worked with a painter to match the color of the new door/drawer fronts with the existing cabinetry. The new doors and drawers look great and the result was even better than we hoped. The installation went very smoothly, and we couldn't be happier with Justin and the quality of his work!!! read more

He put in new stair balusters for me in a little over a day of work- drilling straight into wood stair treads and into wood handrails. He also installed post caps for me. I bought the materials and he was one of the only people I could find who was confident enough and not "scared" to drill straight into stair treads. He did a great job with everything. Highly recommend him for interior woodwork. read more

Justin who's the owner of JH Carpentry is hands down the best in the business. He's experience and quality shows in the work, he also hood a high level of standards where if he doesn't like how a draw came out he will redo it without you asking( that alone is amazing) . He's so responsive and helpful too. We hired Justin to build a custom kitchen for our remodeled home . Our space was not easy to begin with but Justin was up for the challenge and absolutely made it beautiful. We wanted everything in the kitchen from panel on the dishwasher and fridge to custom draws with knifes, spice rack , paper towel holder, and a kitchen aid mixture pop up stand. Justin also designed our pantry with a hidden door . we will add picture ,once the cabinets are finished being panting but i wanted to make sure that if anyone was looking for a custom cabinets that you call this company because you will not regret it. read more

I'm going to start off by saying if you are looking for someone that knows what they are doing and not into getting a HACK job than Justin is the man for you. We had some built ins done a few months back and love them. Justin was "On time" let me say that again "On time" which in the world of contractions doesn't exist. He did a great job with the build and installation of them. I'm very particular when it comes to things being done right and this build was done right. When I say done right I'm referring to quality material ,pocket holes and not drywall screws or staples. Long story short if you want to get the job done right the first time call Justin. Don't waste your time calling 10 people on yelp. Thanks again Justin and we have more work coming your way. read more

This review is a few weeks past due.. I contacted Justin as well as a couple other carpenters back around May (most found here on Yelp and two recommended by designers) for a few built ins for my new house. I wanted very similar built ins as in the model home therefore, I had pictures to give carpenters a pretty good idea of what was needed. Two said they couldn't do it! Even with years of experience and the others were not available for some reason. Justin responded and took the time to visit the model home. He took measurements and measured again at my house to workout the designs. With all honesty, I was afraid to hire him. He is young and I thought he might lack experience but, my motherly instincts told me "if he were your son, you would want him to be given the opportunity" so I did! I hired Justin and we couldn't be happier! He's done an amazing job with the built ins in my master bedroom and office. Can't wait for him to start on the family room one. I will update pictures of all once they are done. For now I am posting the large mb built in.. UPDATE: We have reached the end, at least for now. All five built-ins are done. All same dark gray shade even though some pictures they look black. I'm so grateful for Justin. He's so talented. All the built-ins came out awesome! Love love love them! read more

Great quality work and always on time! Can create anything your looking to get built out of wood. Very clean after every day of working.

I cannot recommend Justin and JH Carpentry enough. What a fantastic experience I had with the company. I've had a sentimental piece of furniture in storage, but since it was no longer being used and was particularly bulky, I wanted to find a way to repurpose it. I reached out to Justin & gave him very vague and probably not particularly helpful directions. And even with limited direction, he made me something that was beautiful & functional. Better than I hoped for! I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Justin for your next project. Fast, creative, skilled, kind & easy to work with. Thank you so much! read more

Justin is an extremely talented carpenter and all-around tradesman. We showed him a picture of a very specific fireplace mantle and very specific brickwork, and he replicated it to the "T". What impressed me the most was his cleanliness and cleanup after each day. Unlike most contractors who dont care, Justin took the time to cleanup and leave our house nice and orderly after each day. Very fair pricing, especially for the outcome! Would not hesitate to use Justin again and I would recommend him to anyone needing woodwork done or tilework done. read more

I can't say enough good things about Justin. I found him through yelp, and asked him to come out to quote what we had envisioned. Not only was he very responsive, but very professional as well. It turned out even better than we wanted, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Justin for your great work. read more
