Adam is quite the gifted cabinet installer, and I am glad I went with him over the larger companies with great reviews. Initially it came down to price. He installed and assembled RTA cabinets I had already ordered online. His quote to assemble was $5 more than the install price. $5 to assemble a cabinet? That was a big selling feature for me. The job went well and smooth at the start, with careful attention to detail. He didn't charge for the crown molding or baseboards. $3 for each handle for drawers and cabinets. He even cut into my wall to access electrical lines. This took 90 minutes, with no mention of charge. I took it upon myself to include that time and labor into my invoice. Adam doesn't just come in and do the job. He suggests design ideas, had me select better handles, makes redesign suggestions that make more sense on site, and really listens to wants. My job took a long time, with many visits required from Adam. This was no fault of his. When the kitchen was done, I had four more feet of space, so added two more pantry cabinets. Weeks to deliver. After that I ran out of base and crown, so had to order that... It was drawn out, but Adam never complained. He encouraged. He even convinced me to add Taj Majal on the wall behind my Viking range. Thousands more to do that, but damn it looks good! Now that it is all done, I am looking at my large kitchen island, and knowing that needs to be redone as well. Already discussing refinishing existing cabinets in natural wood with Adam. His experience and knowledge really comes in handy, without having to go back to the generic designer from the RTA place. I readily and enthusiastically recommend Adam for cabinet work, and will continue to work with him until my island is done. I've already recommended him to coworkers, all of whom have drooled over my kitchen progress photos. read more

We hired Adam to install a Kitchen for our company. The review of our customer was beyond excellent. They informed us that he was always on time clean and very nice to talk to. They have enjoyed his company and his work. read more

My kitchen sink cabinet looked practically irreparable with all of the water damage it had sustained over the years and I wasn't prepared to spend a lot of money on a new kitchen. When I sent out a request for a quote to one handyman here on Yelp, I received a few different bids in return. I went with Adam because of his reviews and was confident in him because he specializes in cabinetry. He explained what he would do. It made me feel reassured. Also, more importantly his bid was reasonable. He came on time and completed the job just as he said he would. He was pleasant and I enjoyed chatting with him while he worked. When I decide to actually remodel my kitchen I will definitely reach out to him. read more

We had created our own kitchen design and were going with RTA cabinets. During this process we interviewed a number of GC's or contractors who specialized in a kitchen remodel. However, we had been unable to find the right person for the job, until we interviewed Adam. During our first meeting Adam looked at our plan and though we had not expected this of him, he suggested changes for cabinet sizes and also kind of gave a seal of approval on the design. One of our goals was that we wanted to minimize the use of fillers and specifically no fillers on either side of the stove. We agreed to the changes Adam suggested to make this happen and we are really glad we did that. During this meeting Adam offered to carry out the demolition as well and we hired Adam for this part of the project as well. Adam is very skilled and extremely talented and has the artistic vision and expertise that we think is necessary when performing the finishing touches - molding, scribing. One of the wall cabinets was offset a bit from the wall with shims as the wall wasn't straight. However, the face panel that went on the cabinet that I had ordered was exactly the depth of the cabinet. Here Adam did a fantastic job of scribing the cabinet and covering up the irregular space between the back of the cabinet and the wall. It is almost hard to detect. The cabinets we ordered were the frameless kind with full overlay slab doors. Adam also suggested a crown molding pattern we blends very well with the doors. There were few times when we would suggest a change. One such change was in how the cabinet was to be notched in the back for the drain line. We wanted the space to be expanded a bit, and Adam opined that it not necessary, but upon hearing our reasoning, he carried out the modification. Going with custom RTA cabinets and doing your own design kept a lid on the design and material cost. During our research we did come across other cabinet installers but their pricing was putting us way out of our budget. Here we found that Adam's pricing kept us within budget and that it today's economy there are craftsmen who still offer true value. Overall, we are extremely happy how this kitchen project has come out. It is one thing to see a rendering on paper/computer, but when it is real and right in front of you and has turned out the way your mind's eye had imagined, then it is a totally different experience. So, we think we made the right decision in incorporating Adam's suggestions and in having him assemble and install the cabinets. Adam's skill, expertise and artistic flair has absolutely helped in making our kitchen cabinets project a true success. Thank you! read more

I hired Adam based on his impeccable reviews and he was half the price of every other installer. I was a bit wary at first of the low cost but he's able to keep his costs down by being a one man operation. I told him he would need help because my premade cabinets were very heavy until I met him. Being over 6'2" and with the use of his dolly's, he was able to handle all the cabinets by himself. Adam is responsible, reliable, a detailed and experienced craftsman who takes pride in his work not to mention his positive attitude. He went the extra mile on many occasions insuring install was to code and all surfaces were level and aligned. With a long history of experience he made excellent recommendations. He customized the fit to our space adding filler panels, fabricating drawers, shortening cabinets and drawers when needed without any indication they had been changed. He's also very personable and he and I became friends over the course of the install to where I plan to have his family over for dinner to enjoy the space he created. I highly recommend him on many levels but mainly for his craftsmanship and affordability. You will be very pleased. read more

After some repair work at our home, we needed our kitchen cabinets reinstalled. I contacted several cabinet installers and even sent them photos to get quotes, but the prices were all over the place -- it was really confusing. Some companies gave me very high estimates just because there were moldings or because the oven and microwave had to be reinstalled. Adam, on the other hand, was completely transparent and fair. He calculated everything piece by piece and gave me a clear, honest price. He truly charged only for the work he did -- nothing more, nothing less. His work was excellent -- the cabinets fit perfectly, and he handled every detail with care. He's professional, trustworthy, and such a kind person. He's also a hardworking young dad, and I wish him continued success. Highly recommend Adam for any cabinet work! read more

So on the follow up appointment we had to reschedule a few times because of conflicts that happened. Adam was great communicating with me via text. I contacted Adam's Cabinet Installation for my kitchen cabinet project. Adam came to my home, took measurements, and provided a quote after cosilting with his cabinet supplier. After waiting about a week, I was told there was an issue with his supplier's account and that the cabinet pricing had increased significantly. I contacted the supplier directly and was told there was no account issue and that their pricing was current. Because the explanation did not match what I was told by the supplier, I decided not to move forward. I recommend getting all pricing and supplier information verified before committing. As far as I am concerned this guy is a liar and a cheat. I do not recommend him. read more
