    The finished product.

Thank you Setai for replacing my shower. Philippe helped me out throughout the entire process. He was responsive and easy to work with. In constructions, there's always some delays. However, Philippe made sure the workers accommodate my schedule. They worked diligently, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure the walls are patched up correctly and repainted. I recommend Setai and will use them again

We did a complete gut remodel of our kitchen and floor with George at Setai Kitchen. From the beginning, George was thorough, straightforward with cost of labor and materials, and despite a few hiccups (little things due to supply chain issues out of his control) along the way, pretty much stuck to the timeline that he quoted of 6 weeks. He was the most responsive contractor we've ever worked with and would highly recommend him, Matt & the team at Setai. We are very happy with the end result!

Working with Setai was a good but not perfect experience for our recent bathroom remodel. I found their prices to be fair, and a bit of a discount from some of the other full service contractors. The workmanship from the crews ranged from Outstanding (Tile) to Pretty Good (Paint). Stuart was managing our project and we had a few miscues and gaps in communication that we got sorted out by the end (all feedback here was also delivered in person). Pros: Fair price Outstanding tile crew Price included many materials like tile and vanity Numerous samples in their office Generally clean and efficient demo. Cons: I had to do more project management than I would have liked (pressing for schedule, calling to find out when they were coming back, mapping out our bill of materials, etc.). Paint crew left gaps in caulking, painted around door handles and light switch covers instead of removing to paint under, and had a couple spills that were blamed on us. A few mix ups on what we wanted done that had to be documented and corrected (wrong finish for tub waste/overflow, medicine cabinets hung too low to open even after we marked the walls, multiple house calls to fix caulking gaps around the shower, thermostatic valve not calibrated, and an argument over outlet placement.) Very light detail in the signed agreement, which made it a little trickier to negotiate project changes. Examples being whether recessed LEDs and exhaust fans were included in the quote (LEDs yes, fans no), when we were expected to have fixtures on hand (led to project delay). In the end I finally just said 95% was close enough, went out and bought some caulk to finish up when they complained about sending the crew again, and added some extra magnets to balance out the medicine cabinets that didn't close since they warped on install. We're pretty happy with the finished product and plan to use Setai again for our next bath and kitchen. I'm just going to make sure we work out a more detailed project plan and bill of materials, and plan for more personal time checking the crew's progress and activity. If you are organized and can pay attention to detail, you can get a great project done for a fair price with Setai.

We are sooo proud of our newly remodeled bathroom, which George and his crew provided us with great workmanship and customer service. I loved that we were able to pick and choose the tile designs for the shower, shower floor, floor, and backsplash directly from the store. I highly recommend George to provide the consultation service.

We just finished our first project with Setai, a full kitchen, entryway and half bathroom remodel. Our contractor Matt and the crews were so professional and efficient . They completed the project in the time quoted. The process of selecting the materials and design was breeze . The price was very fair and comparable to other businesses in the area. I highly recommend Setai and Matt for any of your home remodel projects. We have already secured them for our next project, a full bathroom remodel!

I want to thank George and his team . For making our kitchen dream a possibility. Since day one George was very attentive and honest. Gave us his opinion without pressuring us into a different route. Took as little as a week to get everything finished. And every step of the way George was making sure everything was running smoothly. I will definitely work with them again and I highly recommend. Price was perfect. And to be honest we were not stressed out through out the remodeling. Again Thank you George!!!

    Old bathroom

Setai did a great job on our bathroom! We decided to remodel our very old bathroom after we found some leaking thru tile cracks in shower and valves. We got some estimates and setai's seemed reasonable. Stuart was great and explained what they did and had recommendations along the way. They pretty much did everything from a complete tear down and rebuild. We extended bathroom by tearing down wall into my sons room and extending shower ceiling. They also had to move plumbing around to fit new location of shower valve and toilet. They did it all and took the trash with them everday. All the workers were great and considerate esp since we mainly work from home. Workers asked us about our opinions in details along the way as well as providing recommendations. They even sealed up my sons room to make it look seamless with the rest of the room. The duration was just a few days over the estimate of 4 weeks so pretty close. We had a couple issues with painters leaving a few smears and smudges in areas but my wife mentioned it to Stuart and he was very responsive and had the painters back the next day (Sunday) to fix it. They were great and apologetic about it and fixed the issues so no harm done. Only minor complaint is the scheduling was sometimes off. They would sometimes not come when expected or come late but for most part stuck to schedule. I esp like that most big items are included in estimate and we only have to buy shower valve, faucets, toilet, mirrors and exhaust fan along with small fixtures like towel rack. Other estimates i got did not include things like tiles or shower doors so this was nice. I recommend buying all the things that are customers responsibility ASAP as we didn't and it caused us 1-2 days delay, but that was our fault as Stuart was clear about need date for those items. Overall great job and thx to Stuart and the team especially Nelson and Lupe for all their work and recommendations. Very professional.

Heard them say I have to come back in person to pay upfront. Imagine if I had actually bought something and couldn't get help. Pity as they seemed so nice and I was really looking forward to working with them and clear about it. Guess they have too much business or don't want mine. There were lots of different folks required (each expert) at their own area for the above work, but I did feel like they each knew what the other was doing and I was kept up to date by either the owners or my service rep. I also like that they are a small business - I felt my project was important to them even though it was not the "biggest" (especially since I broke it into 2 phases for my own budget planning). This outfit was understaffed, showed poor planning, poor judgement, unprofessional job standards, and poor clean-up. The good news is they fixed all the problems ... well, mostly. The bad news is that there were just so many problems, causing endless delays. Staff was not available; planning was improvised and sloppy (requiring work to be redone again and again); work quality was indifferent. In the end I had to finish the clean-up, and I'm still fishing loose steel screws out of the cabinet shelves. Delays turned the promised 3-day job into 8 working days spread over two weeks, leaving us with no kitchen and a house mess for much longer than we planned. In the end, we got our kitchen cabinets resurfaced, and it looks fine. But what a frustrating, amateur road we travelled to get there. Cannot recommend this outfit.

We got it all done in one intense work session. Tony is a can-do guy (as opposed to some other cabinet shops that got a sense of my small project and turned up their noses at my small budget). I write this with mixed emotions and somewhat of a heavy heart. Let's start off with the good…read more First off, workmanship is top notch. We ordered custom cabinets to replace those in our kitchen that were damaged from a pipe rupture under the house. No doubt that Tony has his $hit together when it comes to designing and building. The construction / craftsmanship was unparalleled to say the least. Also did everything to accommodate our schedule, especially since we were dealing with insurance reimbursement, (much of which, as of this writing, we have still yet to see). The cost was expectedly high, especially since he came highly recommended from a family member. I don't mind paying top dolla... That I can deal with... As long as you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, that was where the commitment to excellence ended. The issues arose shortly after the initial installation. Now I must preface this by saying the wifey has a fine eye and is a perfectionist, (hence, Moi, lol). So as we began to inspect, she and I, (mostly she tho), noticed lots of small imperfections. Thin spots in the finish, small dents in the doors, missing shelves etc. We brought these issues up, (even though some of them we could live as they were minute in nature). But, when you pay upwards of $10K for custom cabinetry in a relatively small kitchen, it's not too far out of the realm of expectations to get what you pay for, right? So, in a return visit from WCM to discuss and "rectify" the errors, I pointed out all the others "defects" we had not previously mentioned. Little things like nail holes in the crown molding that weren't finished, small gaps in between the crown molding and ceiling, light spots in the finish, etc. The response I got to those was "oh, that will require a painter to finish... I don't do that!!! Who did your crown molding on the ceiling"? And then, after telling him my drywall guy did the ceilings / crown molding on the recessed lighting, (and, while he handed me a caulking tube), I got a "you just need to fill it in and paint it" response!!! Really? I think I had that one figured out already... Personally, I, (we), thought that was part of what we paid for, right? Apparently it wasn't as he insisted I finish it and wanted final payment. Oh Hell to the NO!!! The last little kicker was the door handles. Seriously, we thought someone extremely visually challenged installed them!!! About 85% of them were installed uneven, crooked or both. Really? Even my old blind a$$ could see that... I mean how much does a level cost? Hell... I have a ton of them in my garage AND I know how to use them. It pained me to think that he felt that type of finishing and job closure was acceptable because he is a nice enough guy. Ultimately, we got tired of dealing with the BS and just wanted to move on... Heck, my granite guy, (see Seven Stones review), is coming in this week to finalize granite and backsplash so we can hopefully get back to some semblance of normalcy soon. HIS motto is "I just want you to be happy". Hear that? I just want you to be happy... So... I ultimately corrected nearly all of their mistakes myself. Me, finishing off the "mistakes", took about four hours max. But WCM did finish up the door that he messed up trying to fix onsite, and bring my missing shelves home where they belong. BTW... Now the cabinets look great!!! But I have to take a lot of that credit too... Like I said... Craftsmanship and construction of the cabinets themselves are definitely 5 star worthy, no doubt. But, the small attention to detail, (1 star), left me feeling like I had been screwed. Much like my cabinet doors and door handles.
