Looking for a good landscape company in Los Angeles is tough since there are so many options and you never know the quality you are going to get. If you are browsing Yelp right now to look for a landscaper, you can stop your search since Flores Artscape is incredible. I was looking to redo my backyard since it was a little outdated and my old deck was starting to fall apart. Not only did Flores call me back right away, but they also quickly scheduled a consultation appointment and did a thorough walkthrough to show me their recommendations and ideas. I went with everything they suggested and I couldn't be happier. The finished product (new pavers, turf, plants, lighting, etc.) looks amazing. It feels like I have a high-end yard that matches my recently remodeled house. And the best part: their pricing is very competitive! I didn't pay an exorbitant amount and still feel like my new backyard looks expensive. Flores finished the job in only a couple weeks and the work team was at my house every day. I am so, so happy with the results and can't wait until they can come back and redo my front yard next. Hire this company immediately if you're looking for a landscape job. You will be very pleased. read more

I was looking for a complete backyard makeover - with pavers, saltillo tiles, artificial turf, and mulched areas. I reached out to Flores Artscape on yelp and received a call back almost immediately and was able to schedule an estimate/consultation for the next day. Jason swung by at the agreed upon time (he even texted me his ETA) and as we walked through the job site, he listened to me describe my vision and immediately understood the look I was going for. He offered suggestions without being pushy and helped me visualize the potential of my project. Jason provided his estimate the following day as promised. He was proactive in looking for ways we could descope my project to fit within my budget. He made himself available to discuss modifications over the phone, and responded to my texts and emails promptly. I ultimately went an different direction with my hardscaping, but would consider Flores Artscape for any future full-service landscaping company in a heartbeat. I highly recommend them! read more

I had a good experience with the Flores Artscape team They were quick to come do an estimate and consultation. They later helped to clear out all our weeds, planted new succulents, bushes, plants, and added a fruit tree--which leveled up our yard. They also fixed some issues with our irrigation system, which was a huge plus. You can really tell Ramuldo and Eric care about what they do. They were super knowledgeable about plants, trees, and even local wildlife, which made the whole process feel really thoughtful and not just like a quick job. It did take a few visits to get everything done, but honestly, the end result was worth it. I'd trust them again for future landscaping projects read more

From start to finish, the Flores Artscape team was exceptional. We had a big hillside project to coordinate with a pool renovation. The Flores team completed the landscaping in two weeks. The team provided daily updates with photos and did an impeccable job with demo and clean-up. Communication was excellent and it was a pleasure to work with Rumaldo, Marianna and Elan. The results are absolutely beautiful. The team incorporated my mother's favorite flowers to cover the hillside. A protective weed barrier was installed along with truckloads of mulch. I can't wait to see how it all grows in. Our project was a big one and the price was fair. I wish I had an adequate before picture but you might get the idea. read more

We are so pleased with the transformation of our front yard. Elan Flores came to our home and he listened to our request for native plants, succulents and no plastic, no irrigation system. He came back with a pdf of a preliminary layout. He worked with us until we got the design just right. Keeping our budget in mind. Rumaldo, owner of the company, came by as well and we had a very pleasant discussion about his company and about drought tolerant plants and the layout. Juan Carlos and his team began working diligently in this heat. Over the course of four days they removed all debris and unwanted plants, installed ground cover, laid out the garden, installed plants and spread different color mulch around it. We feel we achieved a natural garden at a very fair cost. We Very happy we found Flores Artscape in Eagle Rock! Stephanie Loew, Pasadena read more

Flores Artscape took on a massive and complicated fence build at our house that many other vendors would have likely not wanted to take on. They did it with a "can do," positive, solution-focused approach and despite the inevitable complexities that arose they were always eager to figure out a creative way to address challenges. We enjoyed working with their teams. The company is filled with friendly, hard-working, and kind people. And the fence, gate, additional retaining structure, and extra barrier all came out impressive. Given how the fence needed to be straddling a steep hill and change dramatically in length as it goes up 120 linear feet, they were able to do great work and improvise as needed. They definitely went above and beyond in many areas for us, and were open to and reasonable about addressing unforeseen stuff when it came up. They were impressively unfazed by big obstacles and quickly moved to find solutions. Overall, we were happy with project, and grateful for the team's hard work and ingenuity. read more

Flores Artscape is absolutely excellent! They installed turf around my backyard and also installed drainage by my garage. It looks beautiful and now it is an actual usable space. We even put a swing set over it now for my son. Love it so much thank you! The team was very professional and had great ideas along the way. I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Flores artscape did a great job with our front yard. From putting in a new lawn, to planting trees and removing plants we did not want. They had great recommendations, and were very knowledgeable. We will continue to use them for any future additions or projects! read more

I had a great experience working with Jason on our initial landscape design. Rumaldo and his team did a beautiful job updating the side-run of my house. They graded the space and added wood steps held-down by rebar. They built a privacy fence in a custom shape to fit the awkward area up top. It included a swinging door that was built with a custom metal frame (they built the metal frame on-site), which was an impressive level of quality. They built 10' x 8' privacy fence between us and the neighbors (on the left side), and they laid DG to suppress weeds and hold the slope. The team was very courteous and communicative. They brought a 3-4 man crew with lots of supplies (including a porto potty). I hit a few snags along the way that had to do with the specific list of work that was to be done. Rumaldo had the crew come back to address the details that bothered me, which I appreciate. read more

Simply put.. this team is the BEST in LA. I would give 6 stars if that were possible. They built and installed several beautiful wood gates with metal framing. Jason visited the property to get the scope of work and then Sandro brought wood stain samples and answered all my questions. These guys are on it and I was impressed with how quickly they returned quotes and addressed my concerns. I dragged my feet on starting the job but once I committed they got the project on their calendar right away. Elmer, Leandro, Jose Hernandez and Jose Vengara, were our crew and all of them operated with professionalism and integrity. Rumaldo is the head guy and don't be surprised if he shows up from time to time to survey the job. In my opinion, that is the mark of a company that goes the extra mile. The owner shows up to the small jobs too, because they care. Also the price for the work is super competitive. I can't recommend them enough. read more

I hired Flores after we had to have all landscaping and trees removed to pass the California fire inspection to keep our fire insurance. They came highly recommended by my daughter who used them for their new home and had done an amazing job . Rumaldo and his company of landscape designers created a beautiful plan and worked with us on plant selection closely. We had them install new fencing and irrigation as well. The crews are amazing. They created a beautiful landscape that meets CA fire requirements. We were so pleased we even have them doing the maintenance. Rumaldo and his associates are like family. read more

When I was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I realized that putting off my dream of having a beautiful flower garden was no longer something I could do. So I looked on Yelp to find a landscaper, and I chose Flores Artscape based on the reviews I saw. A few months into the planting, I'm pleased to confirm the general approval of this company - not because everything went perfectly, but because it didn't. Because the weather stayed cold later in the year than expected, and because I was too ill to micromanage plant care myself, some of the plants came near to death and two of them died. While the people at Flores were extraordinarily busy (always a good sign, if you know what it means) and had some delay in responding, when they did get back to me they quickly identified the problem, agreed to replace the dead plants, and even advised me on what to tell my new gardener about how to help rehabilitate the plants whose growth had been thrown off by weather issues and partial plant death. At my request they also provided me with a printed list of all the plants on the property and their care requirements, as well as provided labeled stakes to help me remember which (which I had not even realized I needed; they simply provided this along with the requested documents). Many landscapers have a "plant and run" attitude, and I appreciate that Flores made sure there was always someone to follow up when I needed it. I'm very grateful to Flores for helping me realize my dream, and I truly believe that the beauty of my new garden will prolong my life as well as help make it more enjoyable. read more

What a great company with wonderful and friendly staff. I recommend them for any type of outdoor remodeling. The management is great!

Just a follow up that the landscaping and artificial turf Flores team installed continues to be a failure. There are weeds growing through the turf so clearly didn't put weed barrier. This has been happening since they first installed. The plants died off because the drip system continues to need repairs They charged high and used cheap. Multiple landscapers since have said they planted either the wrong types of plants or too shallow. Basically Flores did an unprofessional job at my home but charged extraordinary prices. I've had to continue to spend more money and time correcting their poor quality work read more

I'm was very impressed with the design and the professionalism of the crew, definitely recommend 10/10

I used Flores Artscape to do some heavy duty hardscaping in my backyard, and they did a fantastic job. When we bought our house, sections of concrete in the backyard were not graded correctly, creating a drainage problem. In addition to fixing this issue, we also wanted to remove some concrete to make room for more plants. First Jason came by and we talked through ideas together. He offered advice on what would be the most aesthetically pleasing and cost friendly way to approach the project. When the project kicked off, Rumaldo (the owner of the company) was in constant contact and a pleasure to work with - super friendly guy. He brought in a great crew who did incredible work. They were very detail oriented. They removed the old concrete, poured new concrete and did an exceptional job making sure it was graded correctly and level with the surrounding parts of the patio. (Other landscapers doubted they could make the new concrete level with the old pieces, but the Flores team found a way.) They also gave the concrete patio a more organic shape, and added a brick border, created new garden bed, planted a privacy hedge, laid down weed barrier and new mulch, and extended our drip line to the new plants. The team was great at anticipating and solving problems and very professional. Highly recommend. read more

We had a simple, but large backyard makeover we have been wanting to do for 5 years now (since we moved in) but never made the move until now -- with a baby on the way. Flores Artscape was one of 3 contractors I reached out to, and from the very beginning to the end of the project, they have been amazing to work with. We had a lot of demo (lots of old brick planters, old sprinklers, a fence that was falling apart, various materials, etc.) and wanted to replace these areas with new concrete, concrete pavers, and artificial turf so that we had a clean space with low maintenance. We also added gravel and pebbles to various areas of the yard, and rocks to the side of our driveway. We also plan to plant some trees and herbs on our own in the back, so they graded the soil down and installed a drip irrigation system that gives us the flexibility to set up for ourselves later. During all the hauling, a part of our driveway cracked and they repaired that as well. Everyone we interacted with throughout the project, from the initial design consultation with Jason to communicating with Rumaldo, Nancy, Mariana, and Antonio + the crew, was very professional and friendly. The crew worked tirelessly in the hot weather, still paid attention to details, and did the job so quickly. We thought the pricing was fair for all the work that went into the project and well worth it for the value we received. We couldn't be happier with the end results and we would highly recommend Flores Artscape for any of your yard makeover needs! read more

Rumaldo and everyone at Flores Artscape were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We had irrigation systems installed in the front and back yards as well as grass and plants, and we have been very pleased with the end result. They not only helped bring my vision to life, but worked with my budget and truly listened. Flores Artscape was a pure joy to work with and I would definitely recommend them. read more

Excellent. Built a custom made gate and fixed my French drain. Worked quickly, high quality! Very responsive.

Flores did an amazing job on our commercial project. The estimator came out and worked with us to determine what would be the most fitting and aesthetic design choice. Our experience with Flores Artscape is state of the art. From our first consultation to the last touches, I would choose them all over again. Eric really worked with us and spent a lot of time addressing our concerns with the state of our backyard. He took a highly realistic approach, prioritizing our essential needs while thoughtfully incorporating some of our wants--all while staying within budget. When the work started, the crew was super professional, polite and worked around our puppies' needs to access a portion of the yard. Mr. Flores himself took time to answer every call and check-in frequently to make sure we were happy with the progress. My favorite part was picking the wood and the stain. They treated my project with utmost care and the attention to detail. Our lead Oscar is awesome and saved me from a lot of decision fatigue - helping me make excellent choices along the way. I can't stop looking at the fence and I'm stunned at how it all came together so beautifully. We're enjoying the patio to the fullest and can't wait for summer! read more

We hired Flores Artscape to simultaneously take on several complex, overlapping projects around our house, and we were blown away with the quality of the work, the attention to detail, and the professionalism that Rumaldo and his team brought to everything that they did. We had Flores 1. tear down and rebuild a failing retaining wall and install new fencing on top, 2. completely redo our entire backyard including replacing turf with grass, installing sprinklers, constructing a patio and connecting stone walkway, constructing a retractable shade sail with supporting metal frame, softscaping, and putting in new trees and plants, 3. redo all of the planters in our front yard with new softscaping, new plants, and a tree, 4. install an extensive drainage system under all of this including French drains along the retaining wall, a network of underground pipes to route drainage from downspouts and low zones into a new sump well, and buried outflow to the street, and 5. construct a shed to cover our water filtration system. This was a huge project, but Rumaldo's team rose to the occasion and completed it on time, on budget, to a very high standard, and we couldn't be more happy with the results. Rumaldo's designer, Jason, was also wonderful to work with; Jason put a lot of thought and care in designing the entire project plan and was prompt and collaborative in incorporating our feedback into his designs. The Flores team was also very kind in working with us to accommodate schedule tweaks around our baby's nap schedule, and were generally very friendly and professional. We are really enjoying our new back yard now and we expect that it will serve our family's needs well for a very long time. We highly recommend working with the Flores team and would choose them again in a heartbeat if we had to do it all again. read more

Working with Flores is like buying a really fancy car. The price tag might look high at first, but once you take it for a spin you instantly realize why. And if you can afford to pull the trigger, you'll be unbelievably happy you did. We had an incredibly difficult situation with the city of L.A. making us do some complicated grading and landscaping work on our property. Flores showed up and advised me without holding anything back - even when they told me they weren't the most cost-effective option for a large part of the work. In the end, it all worked out and I don't think I could've done it without the help of Flores. We've also used them for many other things and they truly are the Bentley of landscaping companies. read more

We had a very old fence blow over last year during a storm and hired Flores Artscape to install a new one in its place. The original fence was installed on top of a damaged masonry wall, so it was not a typical fence project. Rumaldo, Elan, and the team did an excellent job from start to finish. The initial consultation was easy to schedule. Great customer service and communication. Punctual. Fair pricing. Professional. The team worked well together to come up with a solution to make a sturdy, private fence for us exactly as we imagined it. They repaired the damaged wall and concrete pad where a tree stump had been. They went above and beyond. We love our new fence and appreciate the hard work from the whole team! Highly recommend Flores Artscape and will work with them again in the future. read more

After a pool remodel, the yard was a muddy disaster. The Flores crew did a spectacular job adding the lawn back in and fixing all the irrigation. Following about five million misses with other landscapers, I fell in garden-love immediately with Flores the company, and all the Flores family members in it. If Flores ran the world, it would not only be beautiful--it would be loving, safe, sweet, collaborative, caring, and unique to each person's needs and wants. I knew what I wanted--a *major* upgrade of a beautiful but ragged 10-year-old Silver Lake sanctuary--and I got it, and more. The garden crews, the office people, the very well organized administrators were all wonderful to deal with. I had a one-morning freakout, thinking Flores had finished the job but with several items still on my list, and Rumaldo (founder and father) is now giving my fiancee lessons on how to calm me down. At one point I said, "I have a dream of doing something I'm not sure you can do..." and Rumando interrupted me to say, "We can do anything." Juan, Joel, Sandro, and all the crew members proved him correct. I couldn't recommend this company--this family--more. read more
