Just bought our first condo and we needed vinyl flooring fast before we moved in and Home Depot's selection was minuscule and some of the flooring was going to take 3 weeks to arrive. Came here to see if they had anything in stock and we were really impressed! So much to choose from! We went home with vinyl flooring in a color we couldn't find at Lowe's or Home Depot. We were unsure about what kind of divider we needed between our existing flooring and the new vinyl flooring we were installing and Idalis was very helpful and made sure she understood what we were asking before offering advice. 5 stars for her service! The only thing I wish had happened was that the management was more proactive about encouraging customers to wear masks and wear them properly. If just for the safety of their employees. I can understand not wanting to loose out on a customer, but it won't matter if half your workforce is out sick. read more

Great until you need help. We've shopped here a couple of times to purchase things for a bedroom addition. This is definitely more of a self serve store because unlike HD employees and management do not even want to try and help you. We came back to return some leftover products and the female manager refused to help us. We didn't have a receipt, so she turned us away. It's 2022, how does a big store not have a look up system? I suspect they do, and she just didn't want to help us. Never shopping at this store again. read more

Customer service skills just are not there. Cashier Genevie was condescending beyond reason. She could also not fathom the idea of someone paying with Apple Pay. Another worker had to tell her she didn't need to keep demanding to see a physical card. We were in a bind with finding these specific bricks for our kitchen backsplash. I live over an hr a away from this location and called to check on stock for 2 brick types. Nicki was very helpful. She did a visual check on stock and held the items for me. The team had communicated to each other well. So when I arrived it was all ready to go. I have visited the Floor and Decor Carson location a couple of times to pick up tile, etc. and each time have been disappointed in the service there. There are rarely any sales people around to assist in finding inventory, so not finding what I needed I left the store. A friend advised me to go to the Downey location which is farther away from where I live but I went there anyway. The service between the two locations is as different as night and day. I was assisted to find what I needed and left very pleased with my purchases. Unfortunately, later I wanted additional pieces so I thought I'd call the Carson store to see if they had what I needed there to pick up from that closer location. No one ever answered the phone. I called several times at different times during their operating hours and NO ONE EVER ANSWERED THE PHONE! I ended up going back to the Downey location. Mind you I called the Carson location repeatedly at different times and different days!! Another time, I had to make a return of some grout and decided since it was a simple return I'd go to the Carson location, after all it is a more convenient location for me distance-wise. I walk into the store and no one is at the registers which are literally at the front of the store. I finally get assistance for my return and ask the cashier why no one ever answers the phone during business hours. She just looked at me blankly and didn't say a word. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back to the Carson Floor and Decor location. It has poor in-store customer service and non-existent phone customer service. If you need tile, flooring, etc. go to their Downey location, the staff is really helpful and I got great assistance from a designer that worked there. I really like the products at the Downey location (they have products there that I didn't see at the Carson location) so go there instead. WOW!! First rainy day in I do not know how long...Called for exchange at 8:00 a.m. Christy was oh so helpful via phone. I told her had my dog in the car and she arranged to have new tile at front when I arrived. She greeted me with a smile (yes with mask on). Jesus unloaded and loaded quickly. The worst customer service EVER! I called their number and was put on hold... then disconnected. Called again... put on hold. thirteen minutes later a man answered. Poor connection with noise in the background of children crying and women talking. I kept repeating I could not hear him due to others' conversations! Difficult to understand because of connection as well as spoke so fast I needed everything repeated. If company is outsourcing to another country then at least make better phone connections. read more

Miguel was super Friendly and very knowledgeable of what styles are coming up and what styles are fading out. He gave me input on which grouting to use that would match my walls and floors beautifully. He was very patient in answering all of my questions and making sure that my bathroom turns out beautiful. We frequently  purchase material from Floor and Décor throughout the area and had the pleasure of shopping at this location yesterday.  Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted and Carnell eagerly offered to assist us with our needs.  We preselected all material previously and Carnell assisted in calculating boxes needed, loaded the cart and unloaded onto the vehicle once we were completed.  He remained very friendly, but also professional, he truly  went above and beyond what was expected.  In all of our years of shopping with  Floor and Décor, we've never had such a great experience and wanted to make sure management knew what an asset he is.   Thanks again for the great service! read more

Felix, Felix, Felix!!! I walked in yesterday and both designers were unavailable but we het the jackpot when he greeted us. Felix walked us to the whole store and gave us incredible advice. Always driven by but never thought of going in but I'm glad I did, so many selections... way more than Home Depot and Lowes and staff are great. This review is for an employee named SaRece or Carice (not sure how to spell it) I am extremely irritated with this person. My mom and I were going for our 2nd visit to Floor & Decor and my mom using a walker. SaRece was sitting at the door greeting people - and my mom's walker got caught on the carpet. The carpet was folding up getting caught on the walker. SaRece just sat there and watched my mom struggling because the carpet was caught. The manager Jacob came to the rescue to help my mom. (I was getting the tiles out of the car - and that is why I was not there to help my mom). I am astounded at the lack of concern or the behavior that SaRece had. Hey Floor & Decor - if you are going to have someone "man the door" - teach them some skills in paying attention and customer service. Again this review is strictly for SaRece. Now there is an employee named CAITO. She was amazing. CAITO gets 5+ stars. I wish I could do a separate review for her. We had questions, and she had answers. She stopped everything to help mom & I. CAITO was running back and forth to get sample of tiles so my mom would not have to walk all over the store. She was VERY attentive and compassionate. Upon entering the store, my family and I were greeted with a hello and a warm smile. As we walked around the store determining what we wanted to fix in our home, we noticed that all the associates were very busy, either helping guests or restocking shelves. I approached Shederick, who was trying to finish restocking. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in guiding me to the various parts of the store I needed to see. I was in dire need of floor tile because I'm remodeling my bathroom floor. As I go into floor n decor and ask the clerk where a certain tile was (because I had a picture of what I wanted). The clerk instructed me to go to the back wall. Before I could get to the back wall I see another clerk coming toward me with a cart. She then stated "can I help you" I proceeded to ask her where the tile was. She eventually help me find what I was looking for but their were other people of a different ethnic group looking around but I never saw anyone approach them. Basically, what I'm saying is this is a tile store why the Hell would I want to steal some dam tile. This was not the first time that this happened and I truly should've not purchased from them but after ordering from off-line Wayfair and getting something that didn't look like the picture posted is why I went into floor n decor. It is so sad me being a 60 year old lady I can't even shop without being watched. Owners/managers y'all need to do a better job at training your employees. I ended up spending $1200 dollars that day but now I'm considering returning it because I prefer spending my money where I'm respected and not looked at as a criminal. Smh ‍ read more

There's a beautiful showroom with a vast selection of material. I bought my tile here but the customer service was severely lacking. As a petite 5' woman, I had to load a dozen 52 lb boxes of tile in my vehicle by myself. When I asked Salvador how much grout he recommended he told me to flip over the bag and read the chart. He said this while walking away from me. I probably won't step inside here ever again. The customer service is atrocious. read more
