It's built inside a historic garage, and you can still see the brewing equipment from the taproom, which gives the place a cool industrial feel. The burger itself was excellent, hot, fresh, juicy, and cooked just right, but my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. The single would have been the perfect size for me. No complaints about the food at all. The beer was delicious too. They had a wide variety of lagers, IPAs, sours, and even a barrel-aged stout, so there was something for just about everyone. I appreciate breweries that don't make everything an IPA. Overall, I was really impressed. What started as an unplanned stop because of a billboard turned into one of the highlights of the drive. If you're passing through Columbus, Hound Song is absolutely worth pulling off the highway for.

And that is being kind. They had a few spaces available in a field but to get to those spaces you had to drive through a 5 foot hole that was at least 4 feet deep! Just don't promise me tongue searing- and it's ketchup level spicy. Karbach Brewing was one of these breweries that were on this lengthy but steadily diminishing brewery list of mine. The beer that we had was a Kölsch beer by the name of Love Street. The flavor features to enjoy with this kölsch is a naturally sweet flavor along with a clean presence as well as a finish. The beer gives a slight warming feeling and is smooth in body. It's also very light bodied so not out of the realm of possibility of having more than one while hanging out. A very solid beer overall.
