i miss alamo so so much :( parking: 5/5. it can be hard to find parking when it's busy, but there's a parking garage connected to the building ambiance: 5/5 :) i love the comfy reclining seats, and they're getting new ones in the summertime! service: 4/5. our server was nice but they forgot the extra sauces we ordered, and then one of them ended up being the wrong sauce. we asked for the lime herb aioli and got straight up melted butter lol. flavored popcorn: 1/5. listen...did i order the popcorn? no. but holy shit, they're charging THIRTEEN DOLLARS for POPCORN. POPCORN!!! popped corn with seasoning powders. i don't care if they're freshly grating parm on top (which i highly doubt they are)!!! popcorn is never worth THIRTEEN DOLLARS. AND IT'S NOT EVEN BOTTOMLESS?!?! buffalo chicken wrap: 3/5. it was fine, lots of chicken inside. it came with fries but we substituted onion rings for $2 extra, and i feel like we barely got any. the onion rings were pretty delish tho. $18 bbq brisket mac and cheese: 5/5! this was yummy. i thought it was kind of weird that all of the meat was at the bottom of the bowl tho. $18 18% gratuity is automatically included, which i don't mind, but i feel like you should just pay your employees a decent wage. but what do i know overall: 3.8/5 read more

So I get that the location itself is old and that flix came in and bought it. With that being said you'd think they renovate a bit or atleast be running smoother that what it did. Maybe it was an off day though! For one, the seats armrests are peeling soooo bad. Flix needs to go in and reupholster with some regular fabric or something vs keeping the (real or faux?) leather. The main other negative was how slow service was in some aspects. We put in an order before the movie started (we saw project hail mary), and it 45 minutes TO GET WATER. Our food came out in about 30 minutes, our one drink from the bar after that and then the waters. Also the cocktail drink was mainly ice so I will not bother to get a drink from here again. Atleast compared to other dine ins it would be more than 2 sips of liquid so that was a big disappointment. I wouldnt mind the high price if it wasnt all huge ice blocks. Positives? Comfy seats, sound system was good, and the servers really nice. They did check on us alot to see if we were missing stuff. We plan on going back because I was awarded a free ticket through email as a welcome offer or something. I won't get a drink but maybe I'll try some other food. We got tacos this time and they were decent. read more

I'm always excited to find a new dine in theater with reclining seats but unfortunately I wasn't impressed. To start off with parking, it wasn't any spots in the parking lot but thankfully there was a parking garage free of charge next door and it takes you right near the theater entrance if you take the elevator down! Among entering it's small, and it was a bar with dining seats to your right. The check in process was a breeze if you pay for your ticket online. Inside the theater, the seats definitely need some upgrades. The leather was ripping on many seats, but they were comfortable and reclined wells . For food, I ordered buttered popcorn and churro donut holes. The popcorn had good flavor but was very salty I couldn't eat much of it. The churro donut holes were crispy and soft on the inside but weren't super sweet. I wish they would've added more of the cinnamon sugar on it because I could barely taste it. Also, I don't think the chocolate sauce paired well with them. The picture on the movie screen was not very clear. I don't know if the movie I was watching, "The Drama" possibly had a filter on it, but even the trailers had a slight blur to them. Overall, I don't know if i'd return but glad I got to try them out! read more

We used to love the Alamo Drafthouse and were cautiously optimistic about Flix Brewhouse opening up where the drafthouse used to be. Overall we had a great time! The theatre was clean and well air-conditioned. They played a preshow with funny clips related to the movie we saw. The food selection is actually much better than it was when it was an Alamo Drafthouse. We ordered popcorn, a beyond veggie burger, fried pickles, and churro bites. Everything was really tasty and a decent portion size. You can either order the food through an app or by speaking to the waitstaff. The staff members were all helpful and kind. The prices were reasonable as well. Definitely worth it if you want a slightly elevated movie theatre experience! read more

Despite my best attempts, I actually really like Flix Brewhouse. I was a huge fan an avid moviegoer at Alamo. It was crushing when they closed. Flix turned it over quickly, leaving most of the Alamo charm in place (giant vintage movie posters, tap house vibes promoting local brewers). The menu is great- expansive. I haven't tried anything I didn't like (pretzels, chicken tenders, popcorn, milkshakes, cookies). They've started to upgrade and replace the seating and the new reclining chairs with gliding tabletops are awesome. The kicker? The staff is incredible. The service is top notch. Everyone is super friendly. Give this place a shot if you love film, and especially if you were a fan of Alamo. read more

Alamo Drafthouse was great. FLIX not so much. Food was nasty barely eatable and couldn't finish it. Fries were freezer burned and tasted nasty. Philly Cheesesteak was bjrnt and just gross. Popcorn had no flavor. The seats were the only decent part. And a 17% gratuity for horrable service. Would see a movie there just skip the rest. read more

i just hate an automatic tip and then 18% on top of that, can i get and automatic fuel surcharge back on my credit card for patronizing your establishment. Just pay your employees and stop using your customers to make up for your short comings. And then you call yourself a brew house when really you're just a movie theater. This will be your downfall. read more

This place replaced the old Alamo Drafthouse, and honestly I think they do a really great job. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the drinks come out cold and tasty. That's all you can ask for from a movie theater I think. read more

Walked in and if you buy tickets in advance you can go right to your seats. Sit down, just for 3 people to ask for proof of tickets. This is one of the more pricey places to go, just because the food is ridiculously over priced. you would think service and quality would make up for that. wrong! ordered a pepperoni pizza that is a personal pan size for $17.00. it came and it wasn't cut well. I asked for it to be cut better so the guy took it back to the kitchen. he came back and said it was against policy to cut it and they'd have to make a whole new one... after he already TOOK IT BACK. gross. plus the 18% gratuity? not worth the $54 food bill plus $27 tickets for 2 adults and a kid. read more

Be aware that FLIX BREWHOUSE charges AUTOMATICALLY an 18% gratuity fee WITHOUT your consent THEN asks for "an additional gratuity"!?! What the actual F!@#$% So deceptive then try to justify "Most customers tell us they appreciate the gratuity being added!! Seriously!?!? They tried to claim we were notified and there is signage posted. We found none! read more

BRING BACK ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE!!! off rip theres an 18% automatic gratuity added to the ticket, not to mention the prices for food and beverage is something akin to highway robbery. to view the menu you need to scan a qr code with your phone which is pretty problematic seeing as its a movie theatre. the menu options compared to alamo were sorely lacking, and the beer selection for a so called brewhouse is also lacking. i ordered a strawberry vanilla shake which had been sitting a while before my server brought it to me, it was pretty watery by the time i received it. save your money and go to amc off grand parkway. RIP to alamo drafthouse, you will be sorely missed read more

Everything 5/5 We'll Definity be coming back to Flix. Parking was a breeze in the parking garage and elevator to the theater. Food was wonderful much better menu than the Alamo theater. Our food was at a reasonable amount of time and warm when we got it. French fries were amazing, hot and tasty. We had the chicken wrap; the chicken was plentiful falling out of our sandwich. Our server was spot on, delivered our food and drinks in a very timely manner. 18% gratuity was not a problem. We usually tip 20% in a restaurant. Great job Flix Brewhouse!! read more

The Alamo was my favorite movie theater, and I was disappointed to see it go. I was still intrigued to see if Flix would live up to it, but it was really lackluster and poor quality. And the prices are insane + automatic 18% gratuity(for what?!?, I placed the order on my phone through a qr code?!)! The food options were limited but still similar to regular movie food, but the quality was so bad. It was cold, mushy, tiny, bready, and overpriced. I got a salad wrap ($18), +$3 to add some bacon and cheese ("loaded toppings") , and a SIX ounce wine ($14) , all for FOURTY FIVE DOLLARS, and it still asked if I wanted to add more tip. Staff was friendly, but still needed more training because even though the theater was pretty empty there orders being taken to the wrong people and a lot of employees walking back and forth in the aisles (more than usual) read more

great place to watch a movie. friendly staff and comfortable seats. parking is easy, covered, and abundant

when I went to see to Michael movie with my fiends and mom it was amazing and don't even get me started on the food is was so good the popcorn leaves a butter taste in your mouth and I got the kids chicken finger and it was amazing and funny part the chicken tasted like there was a little bit of cinnamon on it wich made it the best. The only flaw is the I am sad that the table did not pull out so when I wanted food I had to lean over to get my food that is all. read more
