I was in town for a bit of outlet mall, shopping, and rather than head home empty-handed, I decided to grab a drink for a bit. The space itself looked quite dead from the outside, and the inside was pretty quiet. I think only one other couple was there when I arrived on a Saturday around 3 PM. They brew their own beer there, and though I didn't try it, it definitely sounds appealing. Most of the craft beer they have in stock is from the Houston metro area, with lots of sours and pils to drink. One of the good beer stores in Cypress - sometimes the service leaves much to be desired - on the first two occasions I went in - there were two gentleman working and both were welcoming, but I made the mistake of going in on a Monday afternoon after work and the female bartender looked at me like I walked into her personal living room lmao - I could feel her eyes asking me to leave - fortunately I'm always on my way out - I buy my selections and go home. Their selection is nice: only a few eclectic breweries: I would like to seen more ale selections from Fair Isle, Maine Beer, Jester King, and Ommegang - if high-end variety is your mode of operating - go to Central Market or Downtown Specs, alas this is the one of the only options in Cypress, so pay them a visit. Usually when my husband drags me out kicking and screaming I stay that way! But, we ended up at this cool little joint after dinner next door. They were knowledgeable, friendly and knew exactly what I wanted to drink...all I did was rattle off what I like. There was loads of beer on tap even more in the coolers. A great selection and time to be had here. There's a good group of welcoming and inviting regulars also! Real dart boards....Amazing personalities/service all three visits we have had. We have ordered from Romeros and ate at the bar as they also welcome outside food. We met new friends and had a really good time. We went during their car show event also which was cool and interesting though admittedly I stayed inside and imbibed the beer and a/c while my husband partook in the car show. I decided to stop by after work and was looking for a bar with a good selection of craft beers, and was extremely glad that I did. They have a great selection of craft beers ranging from one of the best NEIPA's I've had to some great home made stouts and brown ales. I had a chance to converse with Justin who was super nice and made me feel right at home. You can tell he's someone who is extremely passionate and enthusiastic about beers and beer making. Love this place. I came here during the afternoon during the holiday season. Most people just buy and leave, but I love the fact that you can choose a beer that's not on tap and still drink it with a small corkage fee. They have games for your group to play, so that you are always entertained. Chris is very knowledgeable about the beers, and you can clearly see his passion for beer as soon as you meet him. Never had anything less than great service. The manager ( i believe ) is awesome and he actually remembered me which always makes you feels welcomed . I wish i remembered his name ! I was debating on one of the beers and he decided to open it up for me just for me to try and a few other patrons around the bar area . We decided to stop in this spot my friend drives by daily. We both said at the same time this place reminds us of cheers. A local spot where everyone knows our name. You can taste and choose any of your future favorite craft beers off the menu. If you like one, they sell a six pack for you to take home. What an amazing concept. The only unfortunate thing is there is only one bartender. So when s/he steps away you have to wait for his/her return to get served. My favorite so far was called "Milk the venom" created by @brashbrewing . Sent me on a warm stout wave. I swam in the depths of coffee, toasted #coconut and speckles of spices like cinnamon and chipotle. If you don't like #beer but enjoy coffee I'd suggest this. Close your eyes and pretend it's a nitro cold brew. Most stouts and porters have that creamy frothiness that makes them much more alluring than the other styles in my opinion. The team here is super friendly and you can tell it has a lot of regulars in there. There is a corking fee for any of the packaged beers ($2) but it's more than reasonable when you factor in the convenience. There are even some that are corkage free if you look in the right place. I go to CBC for the thoughtfully curated taps. You will generally find a mix of craft standards, rising stars, and limited release variations. A visit to CBC every week helps me keep up with trending craft beers. No FOMO. I like to stop at the coolers before heading to a party to pick out a blend of crowd pleasing shares. I'm never disappointed with the breadth of styles and substyles. I look forward to seeing more from their in-house brewing operation. They have proven capability with their nano-operation, but if you see their brew on tap, get it before it's gone. read more

The vibe was gone...... Had a tough week. Stopped by to unwind for a bit before heading home. Have visited this place a handful of times before and each time the experience has been second to none. I brag to my friends about this place. I tell them how welcoming the staff and clientele are. I have enjoyed every second spent here in my previous visits. Today was an exception and I hope that it was just today. The friendly neighborhood vibe was gone. I felt un-welcomed from the second I walked in. I hope this was a fluke and not the new norm. I had one beer and I could not wait to leave. I actually felt pushed out. The friendly neighborhood vibe I got before was gone. It felt more like a roadside gritty dive where only regulars are welcomed. I know I am not a regular but I have visited this place several times before. My experience was so disenchanted, that I had to tell my wife and friends about it. That may sound silly, but I have very few joys in life and this place is one of them. I had to vent about it because it affects my decisions on whether I will visit again or not. Again, I hope it was just an off day, but I will not go back for some time. I would normally recommend this place but in spite of how my week went and today's experience I would be hard pressed to recommend this place to anyone at this time.
