It was nearly 3:00 pm on a Friday afternoon. There were only a handful of tables with diners. The music selection was a great mix. Very enjoyable, which lead to some nice conversation about music and musicians with our son. We shared the Deep Dish Nachos minus the jalapeños and chose plain rather than adding a protein. They were tasty. Love the light chips. My husband had the 6" Person al Pepperoni Extreme Pizza, and yes, the Pepperoni was extreme. He said it was delicious, but I did notice him taking some of them off. Our son had the Bone-in Buffalo Wings and said they were excellent, and devoured every last one. I had the Jumbo Spaghetti and Meatballs. I only took a couple of bites due to it being pretty spicy. I have Barrett's Esophagus and did not want a sleepless night, so I took it to my MIL. I went to BJ's after a movie with friends at the nearby movie theater. After a 2 hour long movie, we needed to find somewhere that opens late night. Our friend recommended BJ's which was a 7 minute drive. When we entered the restaurant, we were served right away. The tables and booths were nicely lit and sports were showed on the TV's. The waiter was extremely attentive and made sure our orders were correct. The food was delicious after just eating movie popcorn and soda. We all ended up getting the pizookie deal, which made a main course and a dessert. The pizookie concluding our meal was wonderful. read more

As someone who got caught up in the BJ's trend on social media, I was so excited to visit since I didn't have one near home. I came on $5 pizookie day and had high hopes that were quickly shattered. Upon opening my pizookie back at my hotel, it was black and burnt. I called and spoke to management, who "couldn't do a refund but could provide me a free pizookie coupon for the next time I visit," which wasn't much help as the closest location was states away. My last visit was one out of convenience and just wanted a couple of starters. I shared bone in wings, calamari, Brussel sprouts along with a glass of wine. As with many chains, the food came quickly so little to no wait. The wings slightly tough as if they were sitting in a partially cooked state waiting on an order to finish them. I wondered if the quality would have been better if the order had started from raw. The wine offered by the glass was surprisingly good. The calamari was nice and tender not over-cooked but lacked flavor without the sauce. I did enjoy the Brussel sprouts, just a bit too much sauce covering them. Of course, the dining room is always spacious and dimly lit but not dark. BJ's is a cool place to catch a game and have a few drinks, adjust your expectations for food. read more

Who doesn't love a good BJ service on a weekday afternoon? Will this family does for sure! Details: Me, the sibs, mom and the Golden Girls chose this location for the variety of food options here to celebrate our annual holiday lunch. Shella was so accommodating with making mom feel comfortable and keeping her walker close by with a table close to the entrance. Ashley, our server was great with recommendations, and even accommodated a substitute for mom's entrée that Mom found too salty for her liking. (Note: the peanut soba noodles with chicken may be a little on the salty side for those who are used to little to no salt.) I enjoyed the BJ brewhouse dip with au jus on the side and it was deliciously flavorful, slightly fatty served on some nice bread. It came with a side of coleslaw and fries. I would order again, for sure. We also ordered calamari, lemon pepper wings, and everything was hot, fresh and tasty. For dessert, we shared the pizzookie salted caramel with perfect amount of vanilla ice cream. Yum! Overall the facilities are clean, beautifully lit, and the bar is impressive looking! There are several large screens for viewing I don't remember if the volume was on. The bathroom is clean and the parking is plentiful. Between the food, service this is a five out of five for me. I opted for the trio so we could taste the cookies and cream one, but the main one that I ate was the strawberry shortcake. It was so delicious and it took care of my sweet tooth. I finished mine, which is the size of an actual cookie, so don't be fooled if you think the pictures is really big. It's the size of the palm of your hand. We arrived at BJ's. Everybody at the table got their drinks except for one person it took over 30 minutes for him to get his cocktail then wings came out wrong. The waitress has not been back to check on us. We have asked for our check about 15 minutes ago and do not have it yet. Manager came over and made excuses about it being busy. But it was the least busy restaurant on the block when we arrived and it is now. I guess we know why people don't come here. Update: we got the check and they charged us for a sirloin which we had ordered, but then they came out and said they couldn't cook it cause it was gonna take too long. So we ended up ordering mediocre ribs instead. But they still charged us for the sirloin. Now we have to wait again to get this charge removed. We Love BJ's. We tried this one about a year ago and weren't happy but decided to give them another try and we're glad we did. The Southern Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and herbed gravy and corn were delicious. This is one of their $13 Pizzokie Specials and it didn't disappoint. Idk why we haven't written a review but I consider us regulars and we will usually ask for Dominic/dominique (I'm not sure which is correct) he's probably gonna be one of the best servers you get definitely ask for him if not another guy who has dreads as well!! (I can't remember his name I'm sorry!!) but when we get them both we know our food is coming out right and the service is gonna be great! On top of that it's nice having them recognize us and greeting us sometimes before we even get sat or know our order for the most part given that we'll change it up sometimes lol! read more

I know what you're thinking...B, you never review chain restaurants! What is this?! So, here are a few reasons why I'm reviewing this chain. Reason #1. The obvious reason is the pizookie. If you've never had a pizookie, stop reading the review right now, find your nearest BJs and order a pizookie. Eat it in house and thank me later. For those of you still reading, there are a few additional reasons why I don't condone the hate of BJS. Reason #2. They have handcrafted soda. I mean REAL soda and REAL floats. + you may or may not be aware, but BJs is almost always is in partnership with local breweries, or brewing their own brews (and trust me, there are tons of beers on tap) The seasonal brews when I visited were a blonde ale, ab ipa, and something called "ghost in the machine". Guess which one I chose. Ghost in the machine- duh! My server Phillip was amazing. He showed me his favorites, allowed me to sample, and gave me an insight to his favorite beers and bites! He set out napkins, salt, and pepper. He was a fantastic host. Burgers come medium on pretty well toasted, buttery buns. They offer those types of burgers that you can barely fit in your mouth. You can taste the char from the grill in the burger patty, and the burger itself is sizable (which is justifiable considering they're also around $15). And the fries are the best kind, possibly double fried, they're impossibly crispy on the exterior, and large enough to retain a soft, pillowy interior without being greasy. Some may disagree, but my experience here was on point. And again...bc it cannot be said enough, get a pizookie. Thank you for listening to my Ted talk! read more

Absolutely the worst experience I've had at any restaurant. Ever. From the moment we walked into BJ's, we were treated like an inconvenience. I came in with a group of five, and right in front of us, one of the hostesses had the nerve to say, "Is that for my table?" and the other responded, "Yeah, unfortunately." UNFORTUNATELY? Excuse me, but we're customers--paying customers--not a burden. The disrespect was unreal. Then they told us there would be a 10-15 minute wait, even though the restaurant was practically empty. We could literally see several clean, open tables just sitting there. It made no sense at all--unless the staff just didn't feel like working. We only came in for Pizookies, and we made that clear. But instead of welcoming us, they asked if we could just take them to-go. What? It was humid, uncomfortable outside, and we clearly said we wanted to dine in. But even after that, they acted like we were doing them a favor by not walking out. The attitude from the staff was absolutely disgusting--cold, passive-aggressive, and unprofessional. Honestly, BJ's should be ashamed of how they treat their customers. If your staff doesn't want to do their job, why are they even there? Terrible service, terrible vibe, and completely ruined what was supposed to be a simple dessert outing. Avoid this location at all costs. We won't be coming back, and I'd strongly suggest you don't either. read more

You would think there was tariffs on fish because they practically left it out. It was like I was eating a coleslaw taco. The tortilla chips that came on the side were good. I admit I did not want to go but boy of boy am I glad my friends talked me into it. They have my favorite Chardonnay - Kendall Jackson and a ton of healthy vegetarian options from which to choose. Like so many other one star reviews on This BJ's, our experience was not much different. Before I get into the negative items, I would like to say our waiter/bartender Daniel was exceptional. This man not only was the bartender for the whole bar, he also was our waiter at a bar top table along with the waiter for several other bar booths and tables. One of the hardest working people in the establishment. Daniel deserves 5 Star review. Now on to the two stars and two stars because at the end someone finally noticed several of the bar tops and booths displeasure. We (wife and I) walked and were greeted with smiles from (3) three hostess. We were immediately sat in the bar area. Along with three other parties immediately behind us. As we reviewed our menu about for a bit, I looked around curious why no one had came to get our drink orders. To find there was apparently only one person working the bar and the bar tables. Daniel find made his way over after making numerous drinks for the restaurant. He took our drink orders and off he went. As he had other orders and drink orders to get. After about 10 mins of watching Daniel do his very best to keep up with what the hostess sat in his section he returned to get our food order. During this 10 min wait, I noticed there was always 3 hostess and 2-3 other wait staff members hanging around the hostess stand talking laughing and at one point dancing. To the point they even could see my disgust on my face if they had paid attention. They watched as Daniel struggled to keep up. One of the tables behind me went over and complained about something and the floor manager went by their table. He spoke with them and spoke with the folks around the hostess stand briefly. Did anything change, NO. After what seemed like an hour we got our food. And you guessed it Daniel had to come and make sure the food runners got it right, Which they did not. Daniel fixed the orders between our table and the one behind us. The sliders I ordered were dry, they did not come with onions or ketchup as menu indicated. I would have told Daniel but, again he was busy making drinks and waiting on tables. The floor manager walked by twice along with several of the hangout staff but could not get their attention. Finally at the end of our meal, a manager(Elizabeth) came out of kitchen and walked over and asked if everything was ok. I said honestly no. I went into the details as mentioned above. While she was at our table, I noticed the folks at the hostess booth scattered. And I found out there was supposed to be a cocktail server helping in bar seating and he was no where to be found. I gave Elizabeth one picture I took of the hangout staff around the hostess stand. And she assured she would handle it. Basically what sums up BJ's here on i10 is, When the cats away (manager) the mice will play (most of staff other than Daniel). It still amazes me that 4-5 folks watched as this man ran around doing all he possibly could and NO one, not even the floor manager offered to help him or did help him. read more

BJ's is open until 12:00 am on Saturday. Late night dinner after 10:00pm can be difficult, to find even during the weekends. The hostess greeted us and wasted no time seating us right away. BJ's has a Nice atmosphere, Very clean, Mellow Music, and Comfortable Air Conditioning. We got great service with a smile through out the night from Miss. Mia. We ordered a Mango Strawberry Mimosa and a Large Deep Dish Barbecued Chicken Pizza added black olives,extra cheese, and sauce. Sometimes things happen, like our visit came with two hiccups They were out of their Special advertised mango strawberry mimosa, Liquor. We ordered another and still had the same problem. So if you want a drink, they may very well be out of liquor. My experience with their drinks may not be yours. I'm just saying order Water with a lemon slice. Hahahahaha! Just Kidding!!!!!! Our Pizza was hot,fresh,delicious,and on point in regards to taste, and I loved it. Terrible service! I went to the restaurant in the late afternoon, my server had two tables which I guess was too much for her. I asked for water twice and never got it. My daughter's meal did not include the french fries when I asked for them to be removed from the check I was told that was not possible, however, I could take them to go.
