After a night out, a friend and I decided to grab a bite to eat at BJs! I ended up getting the Shrimp Scampi and my friend the Atlantic Salmon. The parking lot is pretty crowded due to the club next door so beware that parking may be limited if you go late at night. It's a pretty casual place, similar to a Chilis. Anywho, the shrimp scampi was okay. It was a tad dry and I was not a fan of the type of pasta that was used. Pros: there were plenty of shrimp in the pasta, but I wish the tails were removed as I had to peel them. The flavor was nice but I probably would have stuck to the salmon. Our waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu as we did have a few questions about substitutions. Overall, I would definitely go back and try another dish. read more

For a solid affordable meal for everyone, BJ's is the right choice. They've got an expansive menu with both healthy and classic options. This location is pretty big but when I stopped in, it was mostly empty. The staff was really attentive, especially Giovanni behind the bar (he was great) Some of the flavors could use a little improvement like in my salmon dish, but the Pazookie is always a great staple. They don't brew here, but they do ship their brew in. The food is okay. The scenery has changed to being EBT Community heavy (if you know what I mean), so we go to the one in Cypress now. The basketball-loving community ruined this like they ruin everything. Service was always good though, but it wasn't good enough for us to keep going here. We went in on a Friday at 11:30 a.m. for lunch. It wasn't busy and we were greeted quickly at our table. They have a great lunch special menu. For $13 I had a wedge salad, mini BJ's Special pizza and it came with a mini Pizookie but I upgraded to the Valentine's special which was $4 more. The wedge was a lunch portion and was fresh. I love this pizza and have had it many times because it tastes so great. This time did not disappoint. The Valentine special Pizookie was good but probably not my favorite that I've had there. I've been here a few times and it's mid every time. The last time I stopped in was for pie day. It was not crowded at all. The bar was full and there was only one bartender running around trying to help everyone. The bartender was doing the best she could. I started off with the honey sriracha brussles sprouts. 10/10. Those are always a hit. They were cooked perfectly with and topped the sweet sriracha crema. The crema really takes them to the next level. I ordered a mini pepperoni for pie day only to be overcharged for it. It should have been 3.14 and it was $7. I was in a rush and didn't notice until I got home. Waited over 40 min to get 3 mini Pazooki's saw two other tables have their whole meal and get theirs before hours then when we received it, they were rockhard. Once we told our server, we got a fresh one, but had the wrong flavors. Then was proceeded to be told that the bill will be taken care of or get a hefty discount with that never happening. I left my AirPods there on accident tracked them back, found out the busser had it then started acting that he didn't have it and tried to runoff with them when i literally tracked them to him. The food was genuinely great, but the customer service was extremely disappointing. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, and we were seated quickly, so we expected a smooth experience. Instead, we waited about 30 minutes without anyone taking our drink or meal order, even as several tables that arrived after us were helped right away. When we finally flagged down a server, we ordered everything at once--two beers, an appetizer, and two entrées. It took another 30 minutes just to receive the beers. Then, shortly after the drinks arrived, both the appetizer and entrées were brought out at the same time, defeating the purpose of ordering an app at all. Our waitress did make an effort to recover the situation, but the overall service was still unacceptable. Great food can't make up for such poor attention and long delays. read more

### Unprofessional and Unhelpful Host My recent visit to BJ's was extremely disappointing because of the unprofessional behavior of the host. I was asked by management to come in and speak with either Erick or Jacob, but when I arrived, the host, a woman in her 30s, completely dismissed me. She told me the managers were in a meeting, but her tone suggested she was not being truthful. I have shown up TWICE now and spoke to this SAME HOST who sat me down for almost 25 minutes and said she had gone to tell a manager I was there and no manager after 25 minutes came to speak with me so I walked out. Regardless, her job is to inform the managers that a guest is there to see them, especially since they were the ones who told me to come in. Instead of doing so, she refused my request to speak with them and told me to call her directly--as if she had the authority to handle a managerial matter. This kind of dismissive and unhelpful attitude is unacceptable and shows a clear lack of respect for guests. read more

She attended to us with personable and professional care. On Thursday, I took my best friend from Los Angeles to the resturant, and, again, Danny was our server. Absolutely HORRIBLE service! Walked in at 2:56 pm on 1/19/26 and sat in the bar area for happy hour at 3:00 pm. No one ever bothered to come greet us or wait on us. We were completely ignored. I went to hostess stand and informed a female with straight black hair. lip piercings also a dermal piercing that no one has been to our table. The hostess stated that she would let Chris the bartender know that we are waiting to be served and walked me back to the table with silverware roll ups. As she walked away from our table, my daughter witnessed her roll her eyes and mumble cuss words to herself. She walked behind the bar to inform Chris that we were waiting and then she walked back to the host stand. Chris never came. We watched him go to other tables and also walk to the back of the restaurant. Never even bothered to come by and state that he'd be with us momentarily or ask another server to get our drink order. I know for a solid fact that this is NOT BJ's standard of service as I was a training server for the company back in the early 2000's for approximately five years. I'm so disappointed with our experience today and it's obvious that a sense of urgency is not up to par. We made the decision to leave and take our money elsewhere. read more

Cliff was super friendly and answered my endless questions about how the food was made etc. He gave the BEST recommendations and took the time to explain why. As a teacher and food lover, it was so interesting and just added to the experience. I heard another table ordering the Strawberry Dream drink with Sparkling water and decide to try it out -- did not disappoint!!! New favorite! The poke appetizer really hit the spot and I was shocked to really love the S'mores Pazookie (I don't normally like s'mores stuff) We did not have a reservation, but our party of three were seated, ordered, ate, and on our way in just over an hour. It is located on the corner of 1960 and 249 on edge of mall parking lot. so getting to the restaurant was a little challenging because of the parking lots to other restaurants don't all let you pass through. I had to get to the exit of the mall and than I found the entrance to Whiskey River bar and BJs is next door. Once I arrived and we walked in at 12:30 on Sat for lunch and the place was about half empty, average noise and plenty of staff. We were greeted quickly and waiter arrived to take our drink orders and offer starters. Our waiter was new and stated it was his 2nd day but we didn't have any major issues with service or our food. Just a bit slow but we were not in a hurry so it didn't matter really. I had the bacon guacamole deluxe burger and it was excellent a must try if you like bacon, chipotle and jalapeños. My GF had the clam chowder and mozzarella salad...very good also. We had dessert and tried the caramel pizookie and it was really really good I suggest you try. We order 1 and shared as it was big enough for 2. Plenty of parking and tables and a large menu with a lot of choices. We will return for sure! One side not that is cool in my opinion as I have seen and used at some other restaurants. They still have QR code menu as an option. But the other thing that is really cool is pay on your phone option. Bill comes with QR code and it was quick and easy to pay no giving card to waiter and waiting. Great option. read more

Not pictured are the friend mac and cheese balls which were absolutely delicious and highly recommended. Our server was great and funny, though I didn't get his name. He did forget a few things at times like my sauce and our utensils, but his attitude was very friendly and welcoming that we didn't mind. He of course eventually brought things after another reminder. The restaurant was busy and loud but that's expected for a Saturday night. Was not too busy when I went. Our server was lovely and attentive. We ordered the Prime Rib special ($29.99, only weekends) with loaded baked potato and broccoli. The Prime Rib special is 15-oz Prime Rib served with au jus sauce, horseradish, choice of two sides, choice of soup or salad, and choice of Pizookie. The prime rib was cooked perfectly as a medium rare. However, it was not all that tender. The loaded baked potato was delicious and soft. Never had a bad experience at a BJ's before but the broccoli cheddar soup tasted like there was nacho cheese from a can used in it along with parsley that doesn't go with it. The waitress also put the order in wrong so got a wedge salad and bad broccoli cheddar soup that I didn't finish because of how bad it tasted for about $20 read more

This review is not about the food because straight up--there is so much variety and price points to fit any budget if you're going out. They have catering as well as family packs now, so you can't go wrong with dining here or even doing takeout. I choose the latter since I am still uncomfortable about dining inside places during Covid...and I had a coupon, so I had to indulge! I ordered the lunch special deep dish pizza and wedge salad as well as the 2 flavored Pzookie. As you can see from the pics, a wealth of food for my appetite and my stomach thanked me! However, before I received the benefit of my meal, I had to receive it. I actually received a text message stating that my order was being packaged up...30 minutes after the initial request time. Luckily I made several stops that day before arriving or I would have been waiting a long time for my order. In my text, I was given link to click once I arrived to let the restaurant know I had arrived. Great, right? Not great because when I arrived and clicked on the link, it went no where. I have the app and the link went to the app, but there was nothing in the app that directed me to let the restaurant know I had arrived. Therefore, I defaulted to the curbside number, but there were two different signs with two different numbers...Called both. One was out of order; the other just rang. I decided not to even bother figuring it out. I just went inside to pick it up. Once I was inside, no one was at the receptionist stand. So more waiting. Finally a waitress came by and asked if I had been helped. When I told her I had an online order, she excliamed that they were over in the side. She asked me for my name and handed me my order, but really...think about those individuals who may really not be able to go inside a restaurant to pick up and intentionally choose curbside to accommodate their physical and medical needs. I like BJs but the curbside service needs to be evaluated and made clear immediately. read more
