The cheese was only partially melted on it, so it looks slightly undercooked. I raised some health concerns as it's strange for the cheese not to melt and the meat to be cooked. Staff and management tried to convey the message that the pizza goes into the oven, and it should all be cooked. The dough was slightly yeasted and crispy, but it's sometimes more baked and other times less baked, so you never know which you'll get. Staff are neighborly and friendly.

The guy behind the bar was very nice and friendly and we can not fault him at all. They did have a good selection of craft beer to choose from and left us sample some so we could make our decision. Unfortunately, they were out of a lot of the beers that we really wanted to try. We made our decision and asked about the food. Apparently the great burgers that was part of another business within Hop Scholar had left and now they had Dragon Bowel Noodle Bar to serve meals. We ordered a few items as we were hungry and their food wasn't bad, but when I go to and Ale House, I kind of expect bar food and not an Asian Noodle Bar. Very disappointing to say to the least. Yes, our beer was good.
