I come here usually once a week and grab burgers to-go to bring to my husband and son at work. It's their favorite burger place!! The Burgers are always cooked perfect and with all the toppings I requested on each burger. I've never experienced a wrong order or missing topping. The Cajun fries are always fresh and hot and I get myself a Diet Coke while I wait for the order to be made. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is always clean. read more

My family and I usually love 5 Guys and after a long week we decided to get some dinner for my mom and family last night to kick off Mother's Day weekend. Unfortunately, when we got home and were figuring out whose burgers were whose, we realized that every. single. burger...was wrong! Even the fries were wrong, we ordered the Cajun fries practically the whole point of choosing five guys and they gave us plain regular fries. I'm really not one to complain usually, but my family was pretty upset, the location is at least 35 minutes away and it was already too late to drive back. Also there was something that we each HATED on all of the burgers so we couldn't even eat any of them, stuff like mustard and onions that's almost impossible to get off and not taste anymore. Like some reviewers here, I too haven't quite understood the hype with Five Guys ever since I tried it for the first time on the East Coast. Their food is okay, but not something I would rave about. While they offer a variety of toppings and ingredients to add to your burger, if you don't simply go "All the Way" then it gets confusing to read the menu. The Cajun seasoning is good on their fries, but they tend to come out soggy. The burgers are okay, but even if I just want the smaller portion, it's costs much more than I would expect to pay at a fast food place. I personally think their items are overpriced. To each their own, but my loyalty for good fast food burgers still goes to their competitor and California-born burger joint with the yellow arrow. Otherwise, the place is clean even with the free peanuts and they have that new, techie drink machine, as well as plenty of parking in the lot. Hate to leave a bad review here because my family and I really love this place. But today we had a poor customer service experience that I had to share. We had some guests visiting from out of town so we placed a $90+ order from Five Guys via GrubHub. Upon receiving the order 3 of the items were wrong and our guest no longer wanted the incorrectly made items so they essentially went to waste. I immediately contacted GrubHub about the issue and they reached out to Five Guys and spoke to the Manager on duty. The manager refused to refund $15 of our $90+ order because of their mistake, instead opting to have their District Manager reach back out to Grub Hub next week for a "follow up". I've been using GrubHub for quite some time and Five Guys is the FIRST restaurant I've dealt with that requires a District Manager to get engaged on a $15 refund. At this point it's not even clear that we'll get a refund for the incorrect order. What if our guests had specific dietary requirements that prevented them from eating the incorrectly made food? Would they still tell us that a District Manager would reach back out to us next week? Word of advice, don't order Five Guys through GrubHub or Uber Eats or any other delivery service. The food is great when it's made the way you ask, not so much when it's not. read more

Came in the other day for a meal. While waiting in line there was an altercation between a short white lady in a black shirt (guessing manager). She was yelling and screaming and swearing at the employee whilst he was trying to take an order. Real professional when you're swearing at your employees in front of customers while they're helping a customer. The employees here are rude. They are lazy. And they don't take into account the customer satisfaction at all. I bring my kids to this place and they get to hear the two ladies in the black shirts screaming and cussing at employees the entire time. It makes me sad that this is okay and just gets to go unnoticed as is the management at fault. On top of that the food is just way too expensive for what you get. You pay 12 dollars for an unseasoned piece of meat covered in so much grease that the rest of the sandwich is just sopping wet when you get it. The Cajun fries really emphasize the Cajun when they put an equal pound of seasoning per every pound of fries. This place nasty. I wouldn't make my own worse enemy eat here. Very good Hamburger but different from IN-N-Out. The burger seemed more home-style then IN-N-Outs mass produced burgers. They also had a ton of different toppings: Mayo, Relish, Onions, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, Ketchup, Mustard, Jalapeno Peppers, Green Peppers, A-1 Sauce, Barbecue Sauce, and finally Hot Sauce. If you like hamburgers (who doesn't) then I would definitely recommend trying this place. Their will be a line and a little wait to get your food but it is worth it. The prices are also very reasonable and you can also order online. Burgers are $4-$6 depending on the size and with cheese or bacon. Juicy burgers and plenty of toppings to choose from. Not a big fan of their fries though, too salty. They do have free peanuts to snack on as well and offer grilled cheese sandwiches as an option. Big burgers means two patties and little burgers is one patty (not a smaller sized burger). I would not compare them to In-N-Out as they are a bit different, offer different burger styles, and do not have shakes. However, if you had to compare them, I believe their burgers are better than In-N-Out, but not their fries, plus In-N-Out has a drive-thru and Five Guys does not. The place is a bit loud and if it is not as crowded, the music overpowers most conversations. read more

I am all about burgers at In N Out, so when Five Guys rolled into town.. had to give it a go. Suffice to say Five Guys is not new as far as a burger place restaurant, they are an East Coast kinda joint, but they finally opened up here in Temecula and THAT is a good thing my friends. Line is out the building on some nights, but the service does not suffer it is smiles, great attitude and they are on the ball! So I had to try it out and see if the creations here were true to the East Coast style. YES! However I have to say it is not a cheap burger, if you add the fixins it can be expensive not sure how it adds up but it does. Maybe cuz you have the choice of 1 or two patties- I go for 1- the 2 patty never ever every stays together in any form of ease to eat, it all falls apart, which is fine but I like my burgers to hold together for at least the 3rd bite, maybe I should ease up on the fixins..... ya right! I love the cajun fries with the vinegar to dip in. I have to share the large fries it is a really large portion and even with the hubby - it is a lot of fries. The Winchester location can get pretty breezy outside since its on a main road--- but inside is super loud with people and talking over the music, so I brave the wind to enjoy my grub. Now as for In N Out- ya I am still in an In N Out gal- but its nice to have the option of a place to eat that I really enjoy depending on which side of town I am on and not be disappointed, if that makes sense. read more

On a recent trip to Temecula (well yesterday) my family and I decided to try Five Guys. As I opened the door we were routed to a relatively long line to place our order. I noticed a ton of bagged peanuts and a free peanut station at the end of the line which is a pretty good sign I'm going to wait, especially if there are free snacks. The first thing I noticed on the menus are the choices. You can get a hamburger which consists of two patties (plain, cheese, bacon, or bacon and cheese) You can also get a little hamburger which is just a single patty and plenty big enough in my opinion. The free condiments are where they really give some choices: Mayo, Relish, Onions, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, Ketchup, Mustard, Jalapeno Peppers, Green Peppers, A-1 Sauce, Barbecue Sauce, and finally Hot Sauce. I got the Little Bacon hamburger with grilled mushrooms. It was a tasty little burger. Juicy, well done, crispy bacon, and the mushrooms were quite tasty. I also got an order of regular fries and they actually add an extra scoop so you get plenty of fries as well. We decided to try the Cajun fries too. They were spicy with black pepper, salt and cayenne pepper. A little goes a long way, so I preferred the regular fries. Prepare to wait. It was really busy and we had about a 10 minute wait as everything is made fresh. Take advantage of the free peanuts. It's a newer location so check your order as you might be missing something (my sister didn't have bacon on her bacon hamburger). They were cool and fried up some fresh bacon and gave it too her pretty quickly, so that was nice. They could use a little better layout on seating as well. It reminded me of college where I used to scout out a table and jump on it once someone left. They have a little more seating outside, but not all tables have umbrellas so that can get a little hot as well. Overall, for a good burger, friendly service and free peanuts, give this place a try. read more

I'll save you the photos, it was no good, burger was dry and burnt. Fries were way over seasoned. My hot dog was burnt on one side and not fully cooked through on the other, how does that even happen? Yeah beats me. Plus all the bacon I ordered on both Burger and Dog were burnt bits and pieces, looked and tasted like they'd been at the bottom of something most of the day. I am stationed in Alameda and that Five Guys is Amazing but this is my third bad encounter with the Temecula Five Guys off Winchester, so go elsewhere if you want Five guys that is good quality because I have had many good experiences at other locations.
