5 Stars! I visited this location today. I'm a Cab Driver and I was lucky enough to be on Woodhaven Blvd today so I stopped in. I had a Little Cheeseburger and a Cheese Dog. Let me tell you I LOVE how they do their hot dogs, split down the middle grilled on both sides! It makes it much more like a sandwich. Their relish was particularly excellent. This was the second time I've had a Five Guys Burger, though this time I had the smaller one. I took it home like I took home the first one I tried (see my review at the Park Slope location). Let me tell ya, without tomatoes it holds up really well. An hour later I unwrapped my burger and it was still warm! This location in particular receives Aces because of the parking. It shares a massive parking lot with a home depot and some other stores. Additionally the Customer service was aces. I didn't realize they had a Fountain Soda station (I wasn't paying attention walking in) and when I asked what Soda's they had instead of pointing me to the machine the cute Cashier Girl actually told me what they had. I didn't realize it was self service soda till she gave me an empty cup! A major plus is that she smiled at me before I even reached the register. It really seemed that the entire staff was jazzed that I was there eating at their location. Forget McDonalds smiles are always free here, and the fact that 3 cute girls were behind the counter didn't hurt either! Really, if I had any gripes at all with either location I've been too it's that their Franchise uses Coke instead of Pepsi, but at least they had some generic Mellow Yellow which is a good Mountain Dew substitute. Slight warning! For some reason the Google Map image is showing the wrong location. The address may be correct but the map icon is wrong. The correct location lies about 1/4 mile north just south of Metropolitan Ave. It's really easy to spot. If you're driving North on Woodhaven Blvd it's on the right hand side as soon as you finish crossing the bridge over some train tracks. The bridge is the one right after Union Turnpike. read more

I have to start off by asking the following question; HOW ARE PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT $10 FOR A CHEESEBURGER?! This isn't Wendy's or MacDonald's, so you get what you pay for. If you go to restaurant in NYC you are paying around $15 and it usually doesn't taste as good as Five Guys. Five Guys has the best burger out of the fast food style restaurants, by far. This particular location I go to every time I go to Trader Joe's. The staff is always nice and it's always super clean on the inside. There's a huge parking lot next door so if you drive, this is the one to go to. There's something about how it's a little greasy, a little sloppy, and a it melts in your mouth. YES. read more

Cannot go wrong with this place! I ordered a regular size burger and it ended up being huge!! Depending on your appetite ... the smaller one will leave you satisfied Endless toppings, juicy burger, FRESH fries, free refills & peanuts! My only qualm is the amount of idle hands in the kitchen. I was craving Shake shack but was too lazy to drive out to the city for a burger on a lazy Saturday. Decided on Five guys instead, have been meaning to try this place for the longest... Good burger, decent fries. I say it's better than MC Donald's but farrr farrrr from Shake shack. The bun was heavily seasame seeded which I don't mind but I prefer non seeded bun (shack shacks no sesame potato bun!). I had high expectations for the fries after reading all the reviews, I found them medicore/nothing unusually good about them. I did get an extra scoop of fries in my bag but it did nothing for me but soak through the bag onto my car seat... Location is difficult to get to since it is on the side of bridge on Woodhaven. I had to go across the bridge and back to get to it. You need to drive into the home depot parking lot which is connected to the five guys parking area. This is really a 3 3/4 star review, but since that is not possible I give 4 staaaa's ~ Still it is a decent burger and I would go back for more, only if I was in the area. Enjoy! read more

I heard of Five Guys so many times, and I waited for the branch in Fresh Meadows to open. I basically gave up on that place. I saw this branch in Glendale on the way back from the Forest Park, and today I finally got to try the famous burger! My impression when I first got in? Another fast-food joint. It was a quick bite-n-go place. Burgers are very different though. Basically the burgers have two patties and many good stuff. However, if you tried Cheeburger, you will be very disappointed at Five Guys. They also should have small size fries. Regular fries is A LOT. read more

Five Guys, why are you so amazing?! I love all locations, so this one is no exception. It has a special place in my heart because it's close to where I live. Forget Shake Shack, 5 Guys is where it's at! amazing burgers, wonderful assortment of free toppings, the fries are the BEST and the milkshakes.....!!! I always get a vanilla shake with peanut butter and banana. It is just about the best thing ever. I can't express my love enough! My bf and I were running some errands and ended up at Home Depot, decided I wanted to do a quick fries @ five guys.. love their Cajun fries. We devoured those fresh gourmet well seasoned fries right outside in the car with no shame! Decided to might as well just order burgers for dinner since we're here and the fries were great. It was about 9:45 p.m, we go in to grab our order we just placed and the guy apologized it's gonna take a few which we said no we're sorry for ordering so close to closing, please take your time! They were really sweet and honestly their positive attitude and professionalism alone will make me come back 100 times over! I wish I got their names before I left but to the two workers that worked the closing shift on 03/05/22.. thank you for one of the most awesome and best customer service I've received and going above and beyond for us! I enjoy eating at Five Guys in general, and what I find is so great is that their burgers are always so fresh and soft! Their meat is so tender, and the ingredients always pair nicely (it's also great that there are so many toppings to choose from. A huge PLUS about Five Guys is that their smallest fries are built for two, because they give you a cup of fries, and scoop another bunch into the bag! I looove that about Five Guys. An issue I've had with my last three visits to Five Guys were that there were complications with my order each time, at three separate locations, with the final visit being to this location. The first time, I ordered bacon on my burger, and no bacon came :( The second time, I ordered tomato, and got no tomato. The most recent visit to this location, the ingredients between me and my friend's orders got mixed up. Like, I had his cheese, he had my BBQ sauce. I had his pickles, but no one had my bacon. Each time I was able to rectify the situation easily by asking for the corrections to be made, with no questions asked. But it is just something I wish was consistent, maybe there is some greater miscommunications issue in Five Guys' kitchens. Either way, after the corrections were made, the burgers are ALWAYS delicious. This location works as a great spot for anyone who is shopping nearby and wants to grab lunch or dinner. The employees refuse to wear their masks properly. All masks we're hanging off the faces. The manager's mask was around his chin, mouth fully exposed and he was calling out orders from the register, kept turning around and breathing all over the food. This is the second time I saw this behavior and left before ordering both times. This was not a one off event, but how they act every day. I love five guys but this spot aweful. Been here twice, once with a good friend of mine and another time was a my girlfriend. My friend was the one who introduced me to five guys, the place isn't bad at all, it's a good place to go for a quick bit. It's has a nice environment, it's good for small and big groups and for people of all ages. The food is good and the staff were friendly. Tried five guys for the first time ever and loved it. My boyfriend put me on to this place and now I'm in love with their food. It's really good especially their fries since I'm a fries lover. Their mini burgers actually make you full and I also love how they have different varieties of different types of soda in different flavors which I think is super cool and amazing. Two stars for two words: flavorless and overpriced. For starters, the parking lot near the restaurant is quite convenient and usually spacious. The customer service - the few times I went - was very pleasant and I never felt rushed. Even when it was crowded. The food? *deep sigh* disappointing. Flavorless and overpriced. I ordered a Bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions, lettuce and mayo. "Little" sized french fries and a vanilla milkshake. The burger: the beef seemed freshly cooked, hot and juicy but flavorlesss. A sprinkle of salt and black pepper could've easily done this burger some justice. The "grilled onions" tasted boiled and oily. The lettuce and mayo probably were the only "good" things on my sandwich. The fries: decent. Would I pay another $4 for them? Nope. Basic, overly oily, and salty potato French fries. But if that's your thing, this is the place for you. Vanilla milkshake: delicious! Creamy and sweet. I would solely come back for the milkshake. But even that's over priced, in my opinion. I can pay 5$ elsewhere for a much bigger size and similar quality. Overall? Five guys (maybe only this location) is not worth the money. Go to Wendy's down the street, get a burger meal that actually has flavor, spend the same amount of money and get double the food. $20 for a flavorless burger that I can make myself, fries drowning in oil, and a decent vanilla milkshake? This place was a madhouse on opening weekend. The order line stretched from the register all the way to the front door (approximately 20 people in line) and the food pickup line was equally long. Was the wait worth it? Heck yea. A worker was going around holding a tray with cups of french fries in them. She gave them out to customers who were in line - to keep people interested and thank them for waiting. There were also boxes of roasted peanuts waiting to be exploited but hungry customers waiting at tables. The burgers are phenomenal, they taste so fresh because they really are. Load up on toppings too, they're all fresh and delicious. The fries were absolutely bangin'. A regular-sized order of fries will be more than enough for two people. They don't just fill up their fry cups, they fill it up even more, overflowing in the paper bag. Get cajun fries for a kick of spice. And don't worry about getting thirsty, free refills on fountain bevs! I especially like the iced tea machine. read more

I've been here twice (both times hungover as shit), and it just does the trick everytime. This was my first visit to this location, but it was clean and ya gotta love the free peanuts while you wait for your food. I got a bacon cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and grilled onions, and it was fantastic. Also had an order of cajun fries which were flavorful and tasty. If I can give them 0 stars I would. Walked in 45 min before closing, and felt unwelcome was not greeted by cashier or other staff. Cashier was upset that we wanted to order food. Ended up leaving, one of the employees was excited that we didn't order and said a smart comment " yes that's what we like" as we were leaving. I came here with my cousin on one of our trips to suburbia, you know, trip to Costco and Target. We walked in, not knowing how anything on the menu works. So the cashier looked at us kinda funny and asked if we needed help. He was so nice. Asked us what we liked, how we could order anything we wanted in our burgers. He also made sure we got a SMALL fries and not a medium because the medium would have been WAY too much for us girls. He was super sweet. So, after choosing grilled onions, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes and ketchup my stomach was grumbling just looking at the burger. The amount of fries that a small comes with was A LOT, over the top, spilling out of the container a lot. They were also fresh and just sliced from a potato. Ah, just like in-n-out. So great. The burger was delicious. A great substitute to my in-n-out back at home (San Jose, CA). The environment was great. Large, spacious place (well we were in Queens) I'm sure the Five Guys in the city is a lot smaller. The walls were lined with articles and reviews from various magazines and newspaper, they aren't afraid to show off their goodness. The staff was helpful and nice. Great place to go! Oh and they also have all you can eat peanuts, in their shells and everything. My dad would love this place... Really good Five Guys and highly addicting! As far as burgers are concerned you can't compare it to Shake Shack or Shnippers in taste because Five Guys has it's own unique taste that is pretty darn good. Burgers are not messy and fries are actually taste like potatoes and are real potatoes! Yes, it must be mentioned because it's hard to find real real potatoes and that authentic taste which is hard to find in a fast food joint and Five Guys delivers! Large seating space in this location but be weary of weekend evenings, this place is PACKED! Lines almost exit the restaurant but any time before 6 pm is good. read more

Okay, I'm not a huge burger fan but my family loves them so I go for the ride. With that said, Five Guys has the best burgers I have ever had. I personally prefer the grilled cheese with all the toppings but the burger is pretty damn good. What is even better are the fries. Be careful cause a regular order feeds two and a large one a family of 4. Greasy food a heart attack on a bun...hehe. Don't know what all the hype is about. I make better burgers at home. Yes, the meat looks fresh but they cook it up- super dry! The seasoned fries---just powder they dump on the fries sometimes enough to give anyone an allergic reaction. I'd much rather go to Johnny Rocket's they have much better tasting food. I have tried this place three times too many---I was just trying to see if I had gone on an off day---but ah--no they are just terrible. Yes, the toppings are free because everything is over priced. The burgers were Juicy and made just perfect. There's 2 pattys in their burgers, unless its the little burgers(just 1 patty) . You get Free Peanuts while your waiting in line. Unlimited drinks and plenty of parking on the street and the parking lot connected to Home Depot. It was my first time having 5 guys but the service is great and when they give you fries, they scoop the cup full and then they scoop another batch and toss it in the bag. Fries are delish !! I LOVE Five Guys. I HATE this location. You guys are all familiar with it, the HUMONGOUS Fries! and the famous "Top Off". This place does not "Top Off" your fries, heck- they don't even fill it to the brim. What a RIP OFF! We ordered a large and got a cup 75% filled. It didn't even feed out party of 3! They also forgot all the sauce and a few toppings on our burgers. It was the first time I was taking my guests there, and I was going on and on about how great the burgers are and how many fries you get. AMAZING! The place is very old fashion and simple. Their menu is straight to the point. It basically consist of Hamburger or Cheeseburger with all the toppings you want for FREE. I ordered the Cheeseburger, both patties was cooked to perfection. Their french fries is a great compliment to the cheeseburger. Make no mistake about it, the star of the show is definitely the double patty burger. Its never frozen and it's cooked in front of your face. I don't know if this can get any fresher unless you want to see them hand carve the cow. As a burger lover all my life, to keep it short, the burger is a work of art. After downing the first burger in less than 2 minutes, I had to quickly fight the endless crowd and order another one. This was definitely worth the trip to FIVE GUYS. At the end of the day, I could barely move after eating 2 double patty cheeseburgers, their gigantic fries, and free refill cola,. This is the best burger a fast food joint can offer. 5 GUYS 5 STARS!
