Still the Best burgers & best fast-food restaurant, with friendly staff. As soon as you walk in the door the aroma makes your mouth water. The food itself doesn't disappoint. Obviously, the place is known for its burgers, and rightly so. They have so many toppings to choose from that I can't even remember all of them. But the good stuff doesn't stop there. The French fries are the best! They actually have a sign indicating where the potatoes they're serving are from, which is a nice touch. Caveat--order the SMALL fries, because the "small" fries are more fries than I could consume. Not only is the quantity amazing, so is the taste. In certain reviews I would harp on the price of food in a restaurant if I find it more steep than usual but Five Guys always had a reputation of having premium price burgers long before recent inflation put a chokehold on our finances. With all that said, you definitely get what you pay for in Five Guys. It's been awhile since I've stopped by one and I figured this would be a decent opportunity for a review. I ordered a bacon Cheeseburger, fries and a soda, a customary combo which totalled to $23, yeah definitely above customary price. It was delicious though. I don't remember asking for a double patty burger but I basically got a double bacon Cheeseburger, not that I'm complaining since that didn't cost extra. I had to dig it out of the fries they ceremoniously dump straight into the bag, you can't say this establishment is ever cheap on fries. It filled me up good, I can't even think about eating now 3 hours later. Props to the lady in the counter and the cooks in the back, service was friendly and orderly. The soda machines with multiple options is a nice touch, seriously why don't more restaurants have those? I had a good lunch here, no complaints. I haven't been to 5 guys in YEARS! So this is definitely nostalgic for me. They definitely upscaled this place, cleaner than I expected which was so nice to experience. I got a bacon cheeseburger with tomato, lettuce, pickles and grilled onions and of course you have to order the fries. A bit pricier but I can't even complain after this meal because my burger was STACKED! And just look at the extra fries in the bag (the best part) staff really knows how to treat their customers well! I had the horrid experience of trying In-n-Out on a recent trip to Las Vegas, and I honestly feel so dirty and ashamed for doing so. I had to come home and literally wash my mouth out with a double cheeseburger and a pile of fries from Five Guys. The only thing I will criticize this location for are their fries. It's rare I get fresh fries. 8/10 times they're old, stale, or cold. If you get their fries fresh, they're BOMB. I really enjoyed the burgers made here at Woodhaven Blvd. The burger was not greasy and there are days when one is under the weather who have not eaten for days, and need to get their strength back. Was so happy to come here. The fries are delicious and they gave sample packet of Cajun. Cajun was not too spicy. Place was relatively empty on a weekday afternoon. Staff is friendly and walks you through the process of placing your burger order. Any toppings as much as you like. Went for tomatoes, lettuce and pickles. Hold the mayo and the ketchup. As you wait for your order, there are peanuts to keep you busy and tasty too. One guy asked for a bag and he loaded up on the peanuts for his order to go. Just pure beef and so delicious. I've been a patron for several years. I indulge only once every so often, like 2-6 months, but I'm always left satisfied. The burgers are great, I usually go for the cheeseburger (double patty) with lettuce, raw onions, lettuce and tomato. I'll add a little ketchup myself, but too much will overrun the flavor of the beef. I've tried other things from their menu, such as the shake, hot dog, and grilled cheese sandwich, but they really were nothing special. I would only recommend this place if you feel like having a good burger. Better than shake shack or most any diner. Fries are kind of hit or miss... While they're generous with the servings, often times they're pretty forgettable. I'm so glad they're so close to my area. My first Five Guys experience was not this one. It was the Whitestone/ College Point one. But nontheless both of them kick major ass. Shake Shack is still my favorite burger place, but this is definitely second favorite. Love the layout, where you actually get to watch your food getting made. There is a level of truth to the idea that I grade multi state, chain fast food restaurants with a thicker and bolder red pen. But I do feel their presence, outside of middle of America's highway and byways is taking away from local individual entrepreneurs to take a shot at their own independently owned and operated food service businesses. How about offering the customer a complete roll of paper towels for an up-charge of $1.00, which I would have happily purchased. $6.96 bought me a hamburger with no drink, no french fries. The bacon was the size of flooring splinters and so charred were they in color and taste, they held absolutely no flavor, the lettuce and tomato amounted to one slice of each and were as wet as a pair of Sunday afternoon swimming trunks. The workers were all under 25, realistically closer to 20. They did their jobs well enough, friendly, smiling, respectful and helpful, which was the bright spot in my experience, if you want to find a bright spot, about as bright as a flickering candle in a hurricane. . I've never liked Five Guys a whole lot, particularly because their focus is subpar meat highlighted with unlimited free toppings. For those who could care less about their meat patty, and more of what they get on top, Five Guys is the perfect vessel to get their burger fix. But where Five Guys really shines are their Cajun Fries and box of free roasted peanuts. It's been a while since I've been to a Five Guys joint. Since it's National Burger Month, what better place than to go to Five Guys. Within the vicinity, Bareburger was selling a questionable and pricey burger, Tap House and Dirty Pierre's serve some exceptional burgers but we didn't feel like going to a bar on a busy night during the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. I decided to order the Cheeseburger ($6.99) with Everything + Jalapeno Peppers. The cashier responded by asking if I wanted a single or double. Being that I've never heard this terminology before at Five Guys, I opted for the single patty along with Cajun Fries ($3.29). Right before I was about to receive my order, which took about 8-10 minutes, I noticed on my receipt that the single patty was actually the same as ordering the Lil' Cheeseburger ($5.19). I reasoned myself it wouldn't be a big deal since I'll save myself from the extra 300 calories. The cheeseburger was still sizable, being that I ordered it with a lot of toppings. But one thing I couldn't get over was how the burger patty was burnt to a crisp. It didn't help when the patty was small and thin, and barely had any flavor. Of course, that was masked with all the toppings I had on it, including mayo, grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, and jalapeno peppers. For the most part it took a unattractive burger into a somewhat palatable and tasty burger. But an exceptional burger in my eyes, is a good quality ground meat with 2-3 toppings. I was really looking forward to the Cajun Fries. A medium-sized paper cup was filled, then thrown in a bag, then another mini-sized tray was thrown in for good measure. That was always something I appreciated from Five Guys, to make it look like the fries were overflowing, and making you feel like you are getting your money's worth. The cajun seasoning was definitely top notch, but the fries were ever so slightly cold and soggy. Maybe because we had come post-dinner hours, around 8-9 PM, but that shouldn't be any excuse to lower the quality of their ingredients. It just didn't have that double-fried crispness that I've come to expect and enjoy from Five Guys fries. Despite that overlook, the fries were still as delicious as I had remembered. If only they had a Shake Shack next door, I would order a Shackburger with Five Guys Cajun fries. That would be my ultimate fast food burger-fry joint. read more

This location is terrible! Customer service Is not good! first of all why do they throw French fries on top of burgers that have foil on them. The foil paper is stored on a counter top the outside layer of the foil is not wrapped around the burger maybe for the purpose that the outer layer is not supposed to touch the burger because it's kept outside on a counter. So you know that this is right for the burger. so thats the rules for the burger but not the French fries. Secondly why are none of the French fries in the cup ever it's all thrown out throughout the bag are they feeding animals or humans it's just a disgrace to humanity I will not eat from this restaurant ever again! read more

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 2 shakes, and 1 order of small fries via the Internet (specifically UberEats). What I received was less than half of my order. I only received the two burgers. I was beyond excited to try everything but instead I was left with anger, sadness, and 2 squished cheeseburgers. And for that I was paying close to $60. Seems to me like that online orders, for them, are unimportant and don't deserve the same time and effort that you would get actually eating at the place. And it also seems that they just don't care! 5 Stars! I visited this location today. I'm a Cab Driver and I was lucky enough to be on Woodhaven Blvd today so I stopped in. I had a Little Cheeseburger and a Cheese Dog. Let me tell you I LOVE how they do their hot dogs, split down the middle grilled on both sides! It makes it much more like a sandwich. Their relish was particularly excellent. This was the second time I've had a Five Guys Burger, though this time I had the smaller one. I took it home like I took home the first one I tried (see my review at the Park Slope location). Let me tell ya, without tomatoes it holds up really well. An hour later I unwrapped my burger and it was still warm! This location in particular receives Aces because of the parking. It shares a massive parking lot with a home depot and some other stores. Additionally the Customer service was aces. I didn't realize they had a Fountain Soda station (I wasn't paying attention walking in) and when I asked what Soda's they had instead of pointing me to the machine the cute Cashier Girl actually told me what they had. I didn't realize it was self service soda till she gave me an empty cup! A major plus is that she smiled at me before I even reached the register. It really seemed that the entire staff was jazzed that I was there eating at their location. Forget McDonalds smiles are always free here, and the fact that 3 cute girls were behind the counter didn't hurt either! Really, if I had any gripes at all with either location I've been too it's that their Franchise uses Coke instead of Pepsi, but at least they had some generic Mellow Yellow which is a good Mountain Dew substitute. Slight warning! For some reason the Google Map image is showing the wrong location. The address may be correct but the map icon is wrong. The correct location lies about 1/4 mile north just south of Metropolitan Ave. It's really easy to spot. If you're driving North on Woodhaven Blvd it's on the right hand side as soon as you finish crossing the bridge over some train tracks. The bridge is the one right after Union Turnpike. read more
