Their fries come with delicious sauces and chopped up hot dogs if you so wish. They have these incredible packed on arepas, my friend got the chicharron one and it was too good. The pork was perfectly crispy. I love that their hot dogs come with quail eggs, it's always a nice added bonus for me. Also the fries are always crispy. Be sure not to skip out on dessert. I really love their strawberries and cream (fresas con crema) and the Cholados are super popular. As for the service expect to wait a while but that's only because everything is being made fresh in this tiny kitchen. They are also always busy so be sure to be patient about it. They are cash only which can be a bummer but they do have an atm that charges a small fee. The ambiance is giving Colombian McDonald's for me. Theres a lot of color and a mural. I ordered the cholado ($7) and combo prontito burger ($11). The cholado, a sweet milky and icy drink with fruit, was delicious with pieces of apple, papaya, honeydew, pineapple, canned peaches, and coconut shavings. It is perfect for summer. Unlike other cholados I had, this one was not dominated by a chunk of ice. The ice was quite small and it was flavored! The prontito combo came with fries, pink sauce, and a huge burger with bacon and a quail egg. While the prices are decent and the size of the burger was huge, the taste was not memorable. The burger was very heavy (calorie-wise) and messy to eat. It took me three sittings to finish it! Despite being so excited to visit this small Colombian 'Medellin' style fast food spot, we were highly disappointed. The cashier takes your order from the window directly under sign. After about 35 minute wait we received our Colombian Hot Dog & Chicken Patacon. The Colombian Hot Dog we chose was the Hawaiian. It was full of hot dog,bacon,cheese,coleslaw,pineapple,with two qual eggs attached on each end. It was the better of our two orders. The Chicken Patacon we ordered came with a "pound" of shredded chicken with "salsa rosada" (ketchup with mayonnaise) and the fried plantain was covered in avocado. If was not appealing to the eye at all and it was actually sad to see that much food go to waste. I would recommend them taking some extra time to measure the portions and presentation. Once my food was ready I basically ran home with it (I live 2 blocks away) so that my food wouldn't be cold. Unfortunately the double fried french fries were cold. I was disappointed but I'll blame myself for that one. Fries are not usually good when taken out of restaurants. The burger ...... it was generously topped with mayo, mustard and ketchup but sadly the meat itself was not seasoned. It was just a life-less patty with lots of condiments. I was disappointed by the first few bites because I usually enjoy Colombian cuisine. I did not finish the burger because it just wasn't good. Next time I would've only gotten the prontito Cholado (regular) for cheaper because the only difference is the super has sour sop but I didn't even notice it had it. I didn't even know what sour sop was until I googled it and learned of its health benefits. Anyway it was packed with papaya, sweet condensed milk (which makes it sweet and tasty), shaved ice (you can see them shaving it in front of you) and packed with fruits including mango, apple, passion fruit etc. it's the actual real fruit. Other places use less fruit and less intricate but this place goes above and beyond. They provide an authentic taste of Colombian dessert as well as other foods that I would like to go back and try.
