We come to Five Guys monthly. I normally always get a hotdog. Today I thought let me get a burger. The lady that took our order was so nice and friendly. Also made some suggestions "drink" shake, cajun fries. (If the receipt is correct her name is Terriuna) After I got home there was a minor issue with the order . I called back spoke to Jamie who was nice and gave offered a resolution. The food was still good and hot! We sat in our car and had the best burger I have had during this social distancing. I ordered the little burger (single) with lettuce pickles grilled mushrooms mayo and A1. I love that the topping are all free and you can add as many as you want. The burger was juicy and fresh. My husband ordered the hamburger (double) and had no complaints. I went into this Five Guys location on a rainy, wet Thursday in desperate need of a burger fix. I am currently doing the whole30 diet which means I cannot have a multitude of things. But what I can have is a Five Guys burger patties with some toppings and make myself a little burger salad. Well Syvia K. made that ask not seem annoying (although I know it is). She even then went around the whole floor to ask people how their meals were. Knew that it was a couples first time and spoke to them in the kindest of manners and then told me that my meal had to be remade because they added cheese and apologized for the delay. It wan't even that long of a delay but the effort and true kindness was unmatched to an experienced i've had any time recently at a restaurant of any level. I will be back for sure and I hope Syvia is working. As for the Burger "Bowl" As I am calling it - I asked for the hamburger without the bun and no lettuce wrap. It came in a nice little aluminum container with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles on one side, grilled onions & the burger patty on the other and mustard on the side. It was exactly what I wanted. I love the lit up five guys sign inside. It is so aesthetically eye pleasing. Right now during covid, dine in is unavailable, but inside ordering/waiting persists. This location does well at keeping the inside in a cleanly fashion. I've not yet had a bad experience at this location. During peak eating hours, this place can get busy but my experiences have been pretty quick. You order in one area and then they give you a number (when busy) and you wait. I would say my average wait time is about 15 mins. This is a burger and fries type of joint, but they do have other options. Decent menu, prices aren't outrageous but definitely more than Burger King due to the quality. I normally order a little burger which is one burger patty (sometimes with bacon) and fixings on lettuce wrap, but I forgot to say little so I ended up with the regular hamburger consisting of 2 patties. I love the option of having a burger on lettuce. Also, I can't leave out the Cajun fries, I love love extra seasoning. I've never been disappointed with the food. The drink machine is a newer one that's touch screen with many choices, sure to please all. Customer service has always been fair in my experience. One day I came close to closing time. It was Sunday at 9:30pm and they close at 10pm, I was craving a milkshake so thought I would try it out from here. I wanted the Oreo milkshake, but I was told they were out of Oreo pieces and offered me a different flavor. Five Guys keeps it simple; they serve burgers and fries, and do a very good job with both! Basically, you order a hamburger, cheeseburger or bacon cheeseburger in either the regular or little size. Now...in my opinion the "little" is a normal sized burger and was plenty big for me! You then pick your toppings from a fairly long list of options. I had a little bacon cheeseburger with sautéed onions and mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The meat was nicely cooked and flavorful and the toppings were fresh and tasty. The bacon was crisp and the cheese was melted just enough. Two of us shared a regular order of fries which really was enough for two. The little order of fries would probably be the way to go for just one person. The fries were really good! Crisp on the outside and tender inside. The soda dispenser is one of those fun ones that lets you pick from endless combinations of sodas and flavor go. The shakes looked good, but we were too full to try those on this visit. The food is still great. I love the juicy burgers and the awesome fries. I think it is my favorite burger place of all time. However, I am giving it 3 stars this time because I placed my order yesterday and waited and waited. I waited 15 minutes for it. The sad part was that it was not even very crowded. There was no line to order and not all the tables were taken and there was no one waiting for take out orders. The last two times I have gone there there has been a noticeable delay. Wife ordered fries then complained about being too many, it's five guys, that's what they do. IDK food was ok, for what I got and what I paid for didn't match up. $32 and some change. I know 5 guys is always a bit more, if I would have ate a normal burger this might have moved up a notch. Since this wasn't my first choice that probably affected my rating as well. This was my first time coming here and the food was so good ! I see why this place is always packed. I'm so glad I asked people what I should order . The little cheeseburger is just one patty and you tell them what condiments you want on it . A regular burger is two patties and it is really huge . I also ordered a small fry. The fries are so soft and you can tell the oil is obviously fresh. I wish I would've known you can place online orders. I noticed a lot of the people who came in had placed online orders so they didn't wait in line long at all. Next time I come I will definitely get one of the milkshakes. So, I ended up going to Five Guys on Saturday May 11th for lunch since I was in the area. Before, I went to Five Guys on Saturday I haven't been there in a very long time. I ended up ordering a single cheeseburger with cheese and ketchup only. Along, with a delicious oreo shake with extra, extra, extra, and extra Oreos. Luckily, there wasn't no charge for the extra Oreos, and the person that fixed my shake did a marvelous job on how I actually want it. In, case you didn't realize I LOVE Oreos a lot. So, the food is good when the employees take the time to make it right. The main problem tonight is that the customer service is nowhere to be found. As soon as I walk in, every single employee looks at me, looks at each other, smile and rolls their eyes. All of them did this. Then one finally moves to the register and just looks at me. Weird... I was craving a good burger so I headed here on a Friday evening. The two of us placed our order and everything was fine until we opened up the foil of our burgers and realized a couple of the toppings were missing or on the wrong burger. We checked the receipt taped to the bag and noticed our order was correct, but they were not prepared to match the receipt. I went up to the counter to explain what happened and they made us fresh ones with the correct toppings within a minute. And they ended up throwing in an extra serving of fries. So a little mistake, but they corrected it right away. Overall I love Five Guys because of how customizable everything is. I always get a little hamburger (there's nothing little about it) and usually share a regular size of fries. If you've never been here, know that VERY large portions of fries are always served at Five Guys. Their small is not equivalent to other fast food small fries. I also think their milkshakes are the best. Peanut butter and chocolate mix-ins are the way to go! All mix-ins are free with the purchase of a milkshake. read more

I am giving this chain restaurant 4 stars, and you, the reader, 4 reasons to eat here! 1. Great toppings like grilled mushrooms, grilled peppers, bacon, etc. And... they're... free! Or at least included in the price. 2. Fries are decent...maybe slightly above average. You literally get a sack of them. Enough to share with 3 - 5 people. 3. Burgers are always JUICY. I don't know where the beef comes from, and frankly I don't care if it was frozen first or flown half way 'round the world before I ordered it. When I get a hankering for a hamburger, I really want it to be juicy. 5 guys always delivers. 4. No waiters. Sorry people who wait tables -- sometimes I just want to pay for delicious food and put it in my mouth without interacting with strangers more than necessary! Five guys is one of my favorite burger spots. I love that they use peanut oil and offer peanuts inside to snack on. I must say I'm a boiled peanut type of girl and if they started having those inside, I'd love them even more (Hint, hint). They recently acquired the old Georgia Reese's on 86th which provides them a ton more space inside. It's very nice inside and still the same qualities that all the franchises hold are still there. Although a bit on the pricey side to me, you are definitely full once you eat here. Also, the fries can (and need to) be consumed by two people. They don't skimp on the servings. First of all this was my first time at any five guys burger place. With that said I enjoyed it very much. When your craving a good burger this is the place. Also the milkshakes as well I tried one. It was a mix of Oreo and peanut butter. It was very good as well. Only weird thing is they didn't have ranch dip. But they told me to go 2 places over to a pita place and they would give me some ranch. So while they are making my burger I went over and got the ranch and came back. What makes guys burgers so great is they make your burger for you fresh right when you order, no heat lamp food waiting around all day. You order they say 7 1/2 minutes and it will be ready and it was. The burger was great I got the cheeseburger with a large fries. Large fries was a little over kill. I could of gotten a small and been fine or share a large with 3 people. Everything was great for sure trying again maybe next time a different burger. read more

Let's just say that if I'm going to satisfy my once-a-month craving for a burger, I probably wouldn't do it here. All in all, I thought the food was okay, but the burgers were still a bit greasy and over-laden with condiments and the fries were nothing to write home about as far as I'm concerned. This place came to town with a huge reputation out west and a huge ego, and I think the people of Indianapolis should slap the shit out of them for their cockiness and tell them to make a better freaking burger. When you walk in the walls are adorned with a thousand magazine articles heralding the place. You would think it was La Bernadine or something. (La Bernadine is a 4 star restaurant in New York owned and operated by Eric Ripert). (Eric Ripert is one of the best chef's in the world). Anyway, the place think's is the shit, but in stead of being, the shit, it's just shit. I had the cajun fries with my underwhelming burger, and they were gross too. The burger was so unappealing. It had minimal flavor, and I'm guessing they aren't using the best beef in the world. The topping options are sparse and the dining options are more sparse still, "Would you like a burger...or a....burger?"
