I come here once in a while if I want a craving for their California avocado burger or some chicken tenders. The California avocado burger is my absolute favorite and tastes amazing. Went to Jaggers with the fam a few months back. Nobody was there so the ambiance was calm and quiet. Service was good. The young lady helped us make suggestions and she heard me mention Yelp to my mom so she asked me to try the Korean hot chicken sandwich that they had at the time. And might I say it was the best thing we got. So much flavor and and heat. The cole slaw on top was slightly sweet and tangy and brought the heat down on the korean hot chicken. This may be my favorite fast food restaurant. There's chicken, hamburgers, black bean burger salad - and now a fish sandwich. My favorite burger so far is the Swiss mushroom burger. My kids live the chicken strips best - they are very good. I haven't had a salad yet, but a friend of mine always gets the salad and it's his favorite. We all like the shoestring fries and the shakes are delicious. The service is friendly, they always seems to smile and look you in the eyes while ordering. I had been wanting to try Jaggers for some time. So, I finally made the call and did so tonight. I looked over their menu ahead of time so I wouldn't feel rushed in the drive-thru and make a split decision. I opted for the "crazy good cheeseburger" meal. I chose shoe string fries for my side and inquired if I could get a shake for my drink. I was informed the shake machine was down. Not wanting soda, I opted for the strawberry lemonade which seemed like it was scratch made. Now, the shake machine being "down," is a fast food troupe and I was immediately unhappy and the call to actions on the building include shakes. However, upon arriving at the window I was given a coupon for a free shake, no strings attached. This immediately changed my mood. It was very appreciated. The strawberry lemonade was delicious! It had some pulp in it, which I enjoyed. It wasn't overly sweet either. The burger was also really good. The sauce is top notch. I needed to reheat the fries, but that is only because I live kind of far from them, but they were also really good. They have almost a dill seasoning to them, which is nice. And I don't usually prefer show string fries. All in all this place is really good. The price is up there though. $13 for one burger meal is steep for fast food. The chicken tenders are actually deep fried to perfection, and the chicken is succulent and tender. Had the Very Berry Salad and ot was very good. The only issue I have is the use of flavorless lackluster iceberg lettuce. For the money paid for this, I was expecting actual flavorful greens. The berries were fresh and tasty, and the chicken was awesome. The vinegar sauce was amazing. Suggestion: Offer salads with beneficial greens: spinach, dandelion greens, arugula, and zero iceberg lettuce. Had this salad had those instead of iceberg lettuce, this would be an excellent salad. The service is excellent! Professional while being personable. The vibe or ambiance of the place is great. Clean, modern, with a warm vibe to it. For a fast food place not to feel like oh so many other fast food places is very nice. Also inside it is very wheelchair friendly and should provide even power chair users room to maneuver. You probably don't think "salad" when you think of Jaggers, but they do have an OK fried chicken salad. It is by no means fancy, but it does the job. (And by "job," I mean it provides an adequate alternative to burgers and sandwiches.) The chicken salad comes with iceberg lettuce (of course!), as well as shredded carrots, shredded cheddar cheese, tomatoes, diced hard boiled egg and chunks of fried chicken. You get your choice of dressing, and I got mine with honey mustard. If you don't want fried chicken, you can choose grilled chicken instead. It was a good little lunch. I got my salad to go, and they packaged up everything nice and tidy. The chicken, dressing and salad all came in their own packages. I visited shortly after they opened (around 11:30 a.m.) and they weren't too busy, so I was able to get my food quickly. I will admit that I was more than a little excited when I saw that Jaggers would be adding a Northside location in a spot formerly inhabited by Chili's just down from the Fashion Mall at Keystone. An offshoot chain started by Texas Roadhouse in 2015 right here in Indiana (the Noblesville location was the first location), Jaggers now has spots in Noblesville, Greenwood, Louisville, and now inside the Indy city limits. Jaggers is a fast casual joint. That's a notch above actual fast food, however, not quite to the point of something along the lines of a Texas Roadhouse. Jaggers specializes in burgers, though they also offer a variety of chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, salads, sides, drinks, and shakes. This location had a soft opening for friends and family earlier in the week and is now officially open. I couldn't quite tell for sure if the dining room was actually open as they clearly still had some boxes at the door, though the drive-thru was going steady when I drove by and noticed the cars and thought "I have to try it." While I've tried the Greenwood location a couple times, neither Central Indiana location was really close to my home and Jaggers has been mostly an afterthought. Now that there within a few minutes of my Lawrence home, there's no doubt I'll be a bit more frequent. The drive-thru process seemed almost to be a Chick-fil-A casual process (Why not? It works!). They have the drive-thru clearly marked and an employee was outside taking orders. They steered you into one of two lines where another employee would actually bring the food out to you rather than picking it up at the window. I have no idea if this is the permanent plan (after all, they do have a drive-thru window), but I like the personalization. It looks like they have a couple tables for outdoor dining. The decor is simple. It looked like they might even have an automatic door - this would be landmark if true, though I'm not certain. As a wheelchair user, I'm super into that idea. The employee in the drive-thru was super friendly and helpful. He was conversational yet not in a way that delayed things. I ordered a classic chicken sandwich - it comes with their Jaggers sauce and pickles (I took off the pickles). I ordered this as a combo with their shoestring fries that are delightfully seasoned. I ordered my usual unsweetened iced tea and upsized it. This Jaggers is in the same parking lot as Chick-Fil-A. I have to say that the Jaggers chicken sandwich gives Chick-fil-A a run for its money. Those who have concerns with Chick-fil-A's politics will certainly have an alternative here that's as good if not better. Unless you want to head down to Castleton or over to the mall, this is likely your best option for a burger unless you choose a fancier place. If Jaggers nails the customer service, and it's looking good so far, there may be some chicken wars in this little retail complex that also includes a Panera. Shake Shack did recently open inside the Fashion Mall, though I'm giving the nod to Jaggers here. The decor is pleasing, the customer service is friendly, the food is mighty tasty, and the prices are definitely fair and easily within the usual fast casual range. I ate for less than a ten spot and was definitely satisfied. I enjoyed everything about this experience and am sticking with a 4-star rating with some acknowledgement that they're still getting things opened up and getting their processes in place. However, I'm definitely a fan and will no doubt return in the very near future to try a burger and maybe snag me one of their shakes. First time in a Jaggers. Never heard of them till Chili's closed and Jaggers was built in its place. They have a limited but efficient menu. Burgers, Chicken, Salad. With sides shoestring fries, tater tots, mac n cheese and a few other things. Husband got a Hickory Bbq cheddar burger with Tots. He said the burger was really good. Lots of cheese and sauce. It was dripping off the burger. The tots were ok. They weren't crispy on the outside. They needed a minute or two more in the fryer. I got chicken fingers with shoestring fries and mac n cheese. Chicken was juicy and the breading was good. The fries reminded me of Steak N Shake only better. I really liked the Mac N Cheese. The dining room is not very big. They have 13 tables. A few seat 6 some 4 and some 2. For the size of the building the kitchen must be huge. Service was fast. They did mess up and bring my husband fries and not his tots but that was quickly fixed.
