Food is always good and the staff works their butt off. My only concern and frustration is that they off a free water service and NEVER have cups. 8/10 times visited, No cups. Maybe you have to bring your own water or forced to buy a drink at this location. At least the food and service is good read more

This location is not very good in my opinion. I've never walked in and thought the staff was friendly. I ordered one of the protein plates, and must say the quality does not seem as good. The sweet potatoes were cut in to all different sizes and so large you couldn't eat them in one bite. They also didn't ask if I wanted a side of bread, and I didn't think to ask. I also tried the new fries, these were absolutely terrible! Cold, soggy and expensive. I've seen a buzz around sweet Green so I decided to try it for lunch. I tried the seasonal autumn harvest bowl and added roasted chicken. I didn't change anything. I just got the bowl as it is and when I say, I have a problem with my hands... Lol All of the flavors balanced out perfectly and it's a healthy meal so I don't have to feel guilty about eating it. Overall a good pick up experience from Sweetgreen. My lunch did take a while to prepare during the lunch rush, but the food was obviously fresh. I always get the hot honey chicken plate with a side of green goddess sauce. You can always tell the food it high quality and great for "fast food". read more

I really love Sweetgreen and wish they had a location on the south side of Indy! The food is always very fresh and tastes amazing, while also being on the lighter side so you don't feel extremely full after your meal. The harvest bowl is my go to - chicken, kale, sweet potatoes, apples, wild rice and goat cheese with a basalmic vinaigrette. So delicious! There is really limited seating inside the Fashion Mall location but I took mine to go and ate in the food court right outside. I will say the service was a little lacking here. I could barely hear/understand the young man who took my order because he mumbled his questions and he did not seem enthusiastic at all. The place was clean but jumping with customers, and the wait for someone to start your order on a Saturday afternoon, about 5 mins. Also it was noisy due to being connected to the mall. I got the barbecue chicken salad. You can never go wrong with barbecue chicken, that was shredded and a little chunky too. The bread that was paired with the salad was not the best, so next time, I'd opt out of getting the slice of bread. The price of this salad was reasonable, but I wish I had received a little more dressing on the side to add myself. I love the concept of the tossed salad to have dressing on every bite. I just needed a tad more salad dressing. A good variety selection of salads are on the menu and there is an option to create your own. OMG! Finally got to try Sweetgreen and it was so worth the wait! Sweetgreen is right at Keystone mall which is pretty accessible. I visited for lunch and ordered a Shroomami bowl with roasted sesame tofu, warm portobello mix, raw beets, cucumbers, basil, warm wild rice, shredded kale and miso sesame ginger dressing. The salad was warm, nutty, flavorful and SO healthy which I absolutely love! Sweetgreen has season specials and this time around i saw a butternut squash special. Love the compostable bowls and quick lines which make it easy to order and leave. I recently saw someone post Sweetgreen on social media and noticed they were on the north side so knew I'd likely not try it for some time. The next day I hear someone recommend them. Ok, what is the universe telling me? A couple days later I end up on the north side and pass it. Ok, twist my arm! I walked in like a true newbie. Asked the worker's recommendation and I picked the crispy rice bowl. I LOVED the dressing. It was so much food and I didn't feel guilty eating it. It paired well with my favorite rowdy mermaid kombucha. Next time I may go without the chicken or build my own. Another newbie walked in behind me and the worker recommended a completely different bowl (hehe). I can't wait to visit again and try something new! read more

Enjoyed a Crispy Rice Bowl for a early dinner at the mall today. The service was fast and the server was very helpful. I arrived around 4p and although I there were only two customers in the restaurant, they were out of several items. They did allow substitutions. I did chick peas and steelhead fish to sub for the cabbage and tofu. The restaurant is located in the food court, sits right in front of the Big Woods bar where I also enjoyed my favorite Six Foot Strawberry Blond beer. Parking is a challenge due to it being at the mall however if your patient and don't mind parking further you can find a spot fairly quick. 5/16/23 Update: I enjoyed my meal so much that I went back the next day to enjoy the amazingly delicious crispy rice bowl again! Yayayay! I'm so excited to have a sweetgreen in Indianapolis! I'd heard of the chain in bigger cities such as Chicago, but had never tried it until now. I ordered the shroomami bowl which had roasted sesame tofu, warm portobello mix, raw beets, cucumbers, basil, sunflower seeds, warm wild rice, shredded kale, and miso sesame ginger dressing. It was absolutely delicious. They offer a slice of wheat bread to go with your bowl which I thought was a nice touch. My friends got the harvest bowl which had chopped apples, walnuts, and goat cheese on top. It looked fantastic too. I love seeing healthy options on a kids menu too - that's how it should be! We all loved our food and I like how their containers are compostable too. Their team was nice and the interior was pretty. There's also outdoor seating for nice days. Renewing my faith in salad as a lunch option. Delicious. Healthy. Fast. The restaurant has limited seating but there's plenty in the adjoining food court. It's clean and bright inside. The menu is easy to read and I appreciate that items are labeled as vegan or containing gluten. So far the harvest bowl is my favorite. It's full of flavor and quality ingredients. I was super excited to finally get to try Sweetgreen as I had never been before. I have always been more on the hesitant side because I make a lot of salads at home that I think is really tasty, so I was confused as to why I would pay so much for one. But, I am so glad that I decided to make today the day I try them finally! There was a super long line, but the employees were doing their best to ensure that it went as fast as possible. I did go at peak lunchtime on a Tuesday, so a long line was to be expected. It just meant I had plenty of time to decide what I would like to it. I will be honest, I was skeptical because I have been to other salad places that had a wider variety of toppings. I typically like to incorporate pickled spicy peppers into my salads, and they don't have anything like that so I was confident I wouldn't be thrilled. However, I ended up selecting the buffalo chicken salad and swapped the blue cheese for parmesan. I have never liked blue cheese, and I didn't want that fact to influence whether or not I liked the salad itself. The employee who helped me, Sam, was AMAZING! He was friendly and patient, and he gave off such good energy. You can tell that he likes his job and is happy to be there even in stressful situations. I didn't feel like any of my portions were skimpy. I thought the salad would come with more chicken, but the size scoop I got seemed to be the standard for all the salads. From the first bite, I knew this salad was a winner. Kale and romaine topped with breadcrumbs, chopped pickles, tomato, parmesan cheese, cilantro and chicken tossed in BOTH a hot sauce and Caesar dressing was TRULY phenomenal. There was not one bite of the salad that I did not enjoy. The complimentary bread accompanying the salad tied it all together. I loved dipping it in the dressing/sauce combo. The thing I loved the most about the salad was the breadcrumbs. Most restaurants have croutons in a salad, and they're so awkward in them. This was so easily mixed together and was delicious. Overall, it's safe to say I was more than pleased. The aesthetic of Sweetgreen is exactly what I love: bright with greenery! And, as a plus, the store was so clean!! My first visit to sweetgreen was nice! I was invited by a friend and we met for an early lunch. I was really impressed by how everything was so clean and neatly organized! The food was very fresh and there was a lot of variety to choose from! This location is inside of a mall and part of the food court, but there is seating inside as well entrance directly to the restaurant without having to go into the mall if you don't want to. We opted to eat in the food court common area because it was lunchtime and it was getting pretty busy. I will definitely be back to try some of the other options that looked very yummy. Honestly, finally. Indy has needed a Sweetgreen for a long time. lt's been surprisingly difficult to find a good salad around here, and trust me, I've tried all the spots. Sweetgreen is a breath of fresh air for people who just want a bowl of greens and vegetables without tons of dressing. (Although, if you're into lots of dressing, you can still get that because Midwest.) Sweetgreen is kind of like Chipotle in that you can customize what you want, or you can get bowls and plates from their menu. On this visit, I got the Shroomami, which comes with roasted sesame tofu, warm portobello mix, raw beets, cucumbers, basil, sunflower seeds, warm wild rice, shredded kale, and miso sesame ginger dressing. They ask you if you want light, medium or heavy dressing, and I got light, which was more than enough dressing. Next time, I might tell them half of a light serving of dressing. They also ask if you want your salad or bowl mixed, which means they will take tongs and mix up the dressing with all of the ingredients. I got it mixed and I'm glad I did, because everything was equally distributed. I loved the Shroomami bowl, but it has a lot of sodium, and it is also super flavorful, so you might not want to eat it right before an interview or a hot date, if you know what I mean. As of this writing, this location just opened less than a week ago, so the lines can be long and your wait might be long, too. Sweetgreen has an app that you can order from, or you can order from their website, and you can just pick up your food that way and skip the lines. I might try that next time. Also, there are a few tables in the restaurant, but all of the food is packaged to go, so you can eat it there or take it to eat in the mall food court, or take it home or wherever else. read more

I really wanted to like this place more. I had seen a lot of advertisement for it and positive reviews which is why I decided to check it out while I was up north. Let's start with things I liked first. It's a great healthy alternative when shopping at the mall. They use all compostable material which is very sustainable for the area. They have a nice outdoor area to sit at and the staff was pretty friendly. They also have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. However, I think it is overpriced and unsatisfying for what you get. My salad alone was $14 and I didn't get any protein on it. I did get two additional items that were "premium" so that might also explain the price. The premium items were cauliflower and roasted Brussel sprouts which I was also surprised about. I got my dressing at the "medium" coverage level and I felt like I still couldn't taste the dressing. They over bread with the salad but I am not sure if they charge or not for it. Overall, I ate the entire salad but left very unsatisfied and still hungry. I think I would have been totally OK with the price if this was a really wonderful salad but it just wasn't. read more

Finally an awesome healthy spot that does salads right. Visited the new SweetGreens in the Fashion Mall last week after reading it was open. It's in the food court location so you can sit in the restaurant which is small or the food court. It's also loud if there is a line so outside might be better. You can order one of their specialty salads or create your own. Pick a green, protein, and lots of veggies. Also comes with a slice of focaccia and choice of salad dressing which go way beyond basic offerings. We went with the following: SHROOMAMI Roasted sesame tofu, warm portobello mix, raw beets, cucumbers, basil, sunflower seeds, warm wild rice, shredded kale, miso sesame ginger dressing. HARVEST BOWL Roasted chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, apples, goat cheese, roasted almonds, warm wild rice, shredded kale, balsamic vinaigrette. Both were very fresh and great flavors. Portions are large so definitely enough to take home. I thought their choice of beverages were pricey. Staff were helpful and the order line moved quickly. Better than I expected! Short line, friendly staff and wya more food than I thought I was going to get. I can see how parking might be tough since it's right by the entrance to keystone mall, but I had no issue. Was served immediately and staff was very friendly. Loved that they asked if I wanted my dressing "light, medium or heavy" wish more places thought to do this. I got the harvest bowl with no cheese and added broccoli.
