a cup of coffee and a spoon on a table
    Jennifer C.

My favorite for lunch (or dinner honestly) when I am in the area. If you are needing a bite and you're shopping or staying at one of the nearby hotels, this place is a consistently excellent option. What I live for is their French pressed coffee. My kids and I just came for a snack today and split the chocolate chip cookie sundae. It was incredible. I usually get the prime sandwich (so good) and my kids love the Mac n cheese and kids salmon. Tip: get the fries with the olive aioli - the fries have parsley and are perfectly seasoned We love coming her MOST because of Sonya. My kids love seeing her. She always recognizes us and gives fabulous service. She is a true gem!

Such great service. Sonja is an absolute gem. Best grilled cheese and tomato soup. Service was amazing. She did a little wine tasting to help us pick out the wine. Sonja has such a stellar attitude. Hard to find someone so happy in her job. Do not miss the summer berry salad.

Out shopping with my wife today at Nordstroms and we're feeling hungry so we stopped by the Cafe Bistro to check it out, and we both were glad we did. The Staff are all friendly- our server today was Sonya and like I said she is super friendly and helpful. We ordered The Best French Onion, a Shrimp Scampi Pizza, and finally a Blended Mushroom Burger- everything was full of flavor and cooked just right! Highly recommend if you get a chance :-)

Chicken Caesar salad with baked Parmesan wedge!

Honestly some of the highest quality food I've ever had! This spot is tucked into the back of the second floor of Nordstrom and because it's so hidden, you can usually find a seat and will get your food quite quickly. The staff are AMAZING. We've had the same server a few times and she runs up and hugs us every time we see her. All of the staff are fun and interact with each other and I love going to support them too. The lime/shrimp salad is so.freaking.perfect. It's the perfect balance of dressing and toppings and it's just flawless. Also the Caesar salad with chicken is incredible and comes with a huge, baked Parmesan wedge sticking out of it. The pizza and fries are also classy and delicious. The bill comes with chocolates and that really wins me over as well. The whole experience is like this every time and it's just really impressive.

This place is a hidden gem inside Nordstrom in the mall. You wouldn't notice it unless you look around the entire second floor of the store. It will not disappoint. I often forget to eat here because of its location, but when I do visit, it is very tasty. I had the Asian chicken salad today and French fries. You cannot go wrong with the fries. They have a delicious seasoning. The staff is kind and works diligently. Great experience.

One would never even know that this restaurant is even in Nordstrom. I would rather eat here than the food court. The menu doesn't have a lot of items but it has a little bit of good different items. The French dip and pizzas are my favorite. They are both so good. It is a little expensive for what you get but still better than the food court.

I never would have thought this place exist. Nordstrom isn't my frequent store. Ordering and sitting on our own caught me off guard Bc I thought I would be waited. The menu isn't overwhelming for a cafe and the options are pretty legit. I like the open kitchen so you can see your food being made. I got the salmon with couscous, hubby was peeking over the kitchen, and told me the chefs were looking at the recipe book for my dish. Not too impressed about that. The salmon was over cooked, very dry and little flavor. I wouldn't get it again Hubby got the steak frites. Steak was great, cooked to medium. Loved the shoe string fries but did not like the dipping sauce. Bread pudding was excellent! We don't usually do desserts and I didn't expect bread pudding to be this fancy, but I loved the crispy crust and the softness inside. White chocolate was not too sweet and loved the raspberries. And they gave us chocolate stick with our check! Yummy and nice touch (Nordstrom level)!

Bistro Club with Bistro French Fries
    Ken N.

Inside Nordstroms on the second floor of Keystone at the Crossing is the company's dining option. The restaurant is quiet and arranged with the kitchen, including the brick oven on the south end with bar style seating facing the chef area. From there, a mixture of booth and chair seating on an arc fills the center, with tables and some additional booth seating along the walls. The restaurant asks for patrons to wait at the front entrance, but no one greets you there. You have to go in to the left (after picking up a menu at the entrance) to place your order and pay in advance. You then pick your seat and wait for your food, tableware, and drinks to be brought to you. I ordered the Bistro Club sandwich which comes with Bistro French Fries and kalamata olive aioli. The Sandwich was delicious and huge! Served on a toasted rustic bread, the sandwich has sliced chicken breast, organic baby greens, crisp and thick bacon, tomato, avocado, French green beans (adds to the crunch!), and garlic aioli. Very tasty! My wife ordered the Citrus Turkey sandwich which has Gruyere cheese, tomato, organic baby greens, citrus cranberry chutney, garlic aioli, and slice turkey on a toasted multi-grain ciabatta bread. It wasn't quite as large as my sandwich, but was plenty to be filling. She found it quite good as well. The service was also attentive and courteous and prompt. Kuddos to them too! So with sandwiches so good, why not a higher score? Well, several little things kept us from thoroughly enjoying the experience. First, the bathrooms are not in the restaurant, but at the northwest end of the Nordstroms. No sign tells you this at the entrance (at least we didn't see one), so if you want to wash your hands before eating, you have to leave the restaurant again. The Bistro French Fries have no description on them in the menu. They are brought out already seasoned with parsley and rosemary. My wife cannot stand the taste and even the smell of rosemary, so she didn't eat but one. Since I assume the seasoning is added after the cooking process, it would be nice to offer "unseasoned" fries as an option. I was not sure what the kalamata olive aioli was for. My wife used it to dip her sandwich for additional flavor. I thought it might be for the fries. Either way, I am not a fan of the bitterness in kalamata olives, so I passed on this (letting my wife add it to her sandwich). I would have liked an option to have a simple catsup for my fries, but since they were seasoned, chose not to ask if it was available. Still, it would have been nice to have that option mentioned by the staff. Finally, when you pay up front, they keep your receipt until you are ready to leave. When they bring your receipt, they don't have an option for leaving a tip on your credit card, so we needed to dig for cash to leave a tip. If they have a plan for tipping (or a no tipping policy), it would be nice if they explained it when the order was placed and paid for. I think this is one place that could benefit from customer service cards to fine tune the dining experience. If I return, I will know to ask more questions up front. Any business that wants to create a payment policy different from the standard owes it to the customers to be forthcoming with the info and not assume everyone knows the "Company Way", especially after we told them front desk it was our first visit. Vegetable pizza cooked in a wood fired oven. Delicious
    Amy C.

Always a good place for lunch. Usually I order the warm Asian chicken salad, it's delicious. Today I had the pizza. It's really large enough for two to share. We sat on the open kitchen side and watched them make our food. It was very entertaining. The pizza was fabulous. In the past I've split the white chocolate raspberry bread pudding for dessert. It is probably the best dessert I've ever eaten. If your shopping at the fashion mall and want a snack go try it!

Perfect afternoon lunch after shopping the Anniversary sale!!

I have been coming here for years. I literally love this place. If you are in the area or shopping in Nordstrom for sure you should stop by. Service is always fast and friendly - Sonya remembers my order even and always cheers me up with her friendly attitude. And the food is great. I get the Citrus Turkey sandwich and it's amazing. Perfect kick of sweetness with the cranberry added. The fries are great too and come with a dip that I literally crave. For sure recommend trying this place out!!

I ordered the A La Crossing Benedict, side of gravy, lefse, side Norwegian potato cake, and peach ginger hot tea. I was thrilled to find the hot tea was loose leaf in a pot brought to the table. It's a lovely touch. The Benedict had perfectly crispy bacon and so much asparagus. The egg yolks were perfectly runny and the hollandaise had great flavor. I picked the house salad with champagne vinaigrette for the side and enjoyed that as well. I tried the gravy on some of the sourdough bread and it had a great flavor. The biscuits and gravy will probably be something I order next time because it was so good. When I read they season their sausage in-house I knew I had to try it even though I wanted the Benedict. The Norwegian Potato Cake was a delight! I love every take on a potato pancake or latke and this one had great flavor. The Lefse was a perfect treat to end- I had the traditional with just butter, sugar, and cinnamon. (I had leftovers of this and ate it at home with extra butter and a little syrup also.) This place is a gem and I am so glad I stumbled upon it!

Large mug, excellent froth and the coffee was rich and bold ! I ordered the half order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs on top. I enjoyed the food, flavor and richness of the gravy. The gravy was stocked with sausage crumbles which added the full flavor. The eggs were fried a tad harder than I desire but they were tasty and topped the meal well. The price was more expensive than I anticipated but not crazy. Ruth's is a little of a distance for me which is how I base my final rating. I liked it and will go again if I am in the area during their hours of operation. But I would not pass some equally good cafes closer to me. If you are in the keystone area I recommend you stop

I don't have a traditional office, so I'm always looking for remote places to work. I love a change of scenery and environment. Over the past year or two, I've slowly faded out my visits to a certain popular coffee establishment with a name shared by a character on Battlestar Galactica. So, when a friend told me about The Haverstick, I needed to check it out! I'm so glad I did. It has become my go-to office of choice! Housed in a community center of a local church, the environment has dim lighting and soft music. A perfect place to get focused and stay focused. They have a coffee bar that also offers a few food options. The coffee is good and very affordable. The staff is always friendly. There is usually only one person staffing the coffee shop, but they get to your order quickly. You just may have to wait if there is a large group, as happened to me once. But no worries. Simply have a seat and get to work, and they will call your name when your beverage and/or food is ready to pickup. The Haverstick is less a coffee shop and more a community shared-space work environment that offers coffee. They have a lot of comfortable chairs and tables of various sizes. The room is wide open and you never feel crowded, even if there is a decent amount of people. However, it's usually only a handful of other people around, so it's a great place to get things done. They also have conference rooms for rent. I'm grateful this church has opened its doors to the public and offers such a wonderful and inviting atmosphere. I look forward to returning soon and getting some more work done.

That could not be more true. We both did Pick Two: I got a chicken salad sandwich and my mother got a turkey and cheese both with the soup of the day which was butternut squash. Soup was OK, sandwiches were OK. I got a side of chips (not made in-house) for $3. My daughter was upset when we arrived bc she was napping in the car and she proceeded to cry for about the first 10 minutes so, I walked around with her to calm her before I sat down since it's so cramped to try not to disturb everyone else. She was not happy the entire time so we were trying to calm her and feed her. Cake slices and cheesecake are $17-20 each. They're large but other reviews say dry and taste old. That's pricey. We skipped dessert at those prices based on the quality of the rest of our meal... I got an $8 peppermint mocha which was good but, served in the smallest teacup imaginable. It's extremely small inside. Like, uncomfortable. Granted, I had a lot of items with my baby and her and we were seated at a table for two with her in my lap but it was close quarters and the waitresses were squeezing between the chairs to walk around. They have about 6 tables inside with a small event private room in back. Our waitress was kind but, the manager or owner was off-putting. She went to every single table seated except ours to ask how their meal was and experience and, when time to pay, she wanted to personally ring me up to ensure we left in a hurry. I get it, some places are not meant for babies, but, since it's billed specifically to kids, I thought this was. Nope, I was wrong. (She's 19 months - so, too young for this bougie of an establishment clearly) I would not come back at all unless it was for my, older daughter to have a birthday cake experience and get a couple cute pics. As far as instagram-worthy goes, they know what they're doing. As far as quality of food. It's like a 2.5 stars. I wish we'd waited and walked into the larger one in Carmel and just shopped and got some cookies to go!

We went just after Halloween and they already had Christmas decorations up, which were really pretty. Our server was fantastic. He made sure we had what we needed and kept up with us well despite being a large party with a lot of variables. Good sense of humor too! The manager was available to discuss allergy needs. I had planned not to eat because the menu isn't very inclusive for my dietary restrictions. If you are only gluten free with no other food restrictions, they have some options for you. For me, with gluten and dairy plus some other restrictions, my only option would've been a salad and I would've had to adjust it for my needs. I planned ahead of time to just have tea, and that's what I did. The tea itself was pretty good, but it came out very lukewarm, so it was disappointing. The menu says the tea pot is for 1-2, but it's very small and I'd never consider it for 2 people. I had maybe 2.5-3 tea cup refills before it was gone. For the price, I'd rather get tea elsewhere. For birthdays, they do bring you edible glitter to blow from your hand when you make a wish. It's a cute addition, whether you're a kid or grown ups like my group. The food and drinks felt overpriced to me, but I think this is one of those places where it's about the ambiance and experience more than anything. It's not somewhere I'm eager to return to, but if someone is having a celebration there, I'll prepare ahead and maybe ask for my tea to come extra hot.
