Our family loves McAlisters, there is something for everyone. We find this to be fast and a healthier option for when we are traveling.

I want to thank manager Todd for remaking an order for me. I had actually had an issue a month or so back back and a lady manager had offered to remake something for me and I just never had the chance to come back up and get it. Last night we ordered through door dash and we didn't realize the Chilli is just meat and sauce. So we were not pleased with that. We also didn't get our condiments for the baked potato. May not have been such a big deal but hubby was sick and I had to work OT and I don't know how much of the total was driver fee and tip but $34 and we just didn't get what we wanted. I was out in the neighborhood and thought to stop in and speak with the manager since they were very busy last night when I called and I was on hold for a while and ended up hanging up. Todd explained that the chili is just meat but was attentive to the fact that that we just didn't happen to like it. Hey had a chose 2 remade with brocolli and cheddar instead. It's really good to know when a place will work with a customer who is not satisfied and tries to make it right. I really do like most of the food at McAlister s so I am thankful they worked with me. read more

This is a go to spot near the office whenever I need a lunch pick me up. I love that they have multiple options for salads and healthy sandwiches as well as ways to indulge with yummy sweet tea and lemonade and their cookies. I've had a few issues in the past with my order not being quite right, but I love how they immediately take care of it and get things sorted. It is amazing how the simple things like a cheerful waitress and hostess can make the experience, and I always have a good vibe fro their staff. If you haven't tried their options their salads and soups are a good hearty meal for the price, and you can order ahead if you are time crunched which I like. It is a great fast casual spot for a quick lunch or a place to meet friends. We also love that both vegans and omnivores can find something to satisfy the tastebuds. Plus who doesn't love their sweet tea?!? A good option and one we choose often. read more

McAllisters is a great place to go for a hearty meal including soup and a sandwich. I recently discovered there are a lot more options for me that are dairy free than I originally thought. My new favorite soup is the veggie soup, which is a tomato base and has lots of flavor. This location in particular is often out of lemonade and usually pretty busy, so I would encourage ordering ahead if you aren't planning to eat inside. It's super convenient to order online, and either pick up curbside or simply grab and go from the take out shelf in the front left corner. They are limiting capacity by blocking off of tables, masks are required, and sanitation stations are spread throughout. read more

I recently did a pick up order from this McAllister's and it was all in all a pretty decent experience! I ordered a turkey club and it was really good! I also recommend the potato salad if you are a fan, their potato salad is pretty good!! My only issue was that I placed the pick up order pretty early in the day and there were maybe 4 people there but the order still took 30+ minutes to prepare. Also when I called for curbside pick up, whoever answered the phone was clearly less than enthused to bring it out. He would only answer with short responses like "yeah" or "okay" which was a little uncomfortable, but the food was still good! read more

I just left my doctors appointment, and I was conflicted whether to get breakfast or lunch. But then I realize there was that McAllister's nearby. I've been to this McAllister's multiple times and they always give good speedy service. It was a few minutes shy of 1030 when they open, but the manager let me in. That was perfect because it gave me time to decide what to order. It's a wet and cold morning so I decided to go with the 4 cheese grilled cheese and paired it with a bowl of tomato bisque. As always I didn't wait for more than eight minutes on my order. As many times as I've been here I never left a review. Shame on me because they're always busy, but the wait is never long and my order is hardly ever wrong. Keep up the good work! read more

Oh McAlister's Deli, how I love your iced tea with a large fresh lemon wedge. I can always count on you for consistent, yummy, fresh food! On this visit I tried a Meyer lemon chicken sandwich and it was tasty! But they always have yummy carrot cake to top off any meal. This is a fairly new location and they have a separate Tea bar in case you need a refill you don't have to compete with people placing their orders. read more

The east Washington St location has lost all customer service focus. Stood in line for 30 minutes while one register was used and 4 other employees meandered behind the counter. From the line, 6 uncleaned tables were visible. When the tables were finally addressed, there was no urgency to make room for all those in line. Food delivery was 10 minutes which seemed slightly slower than norm but not a complaint. The wrong food was delivered and no utensils were provided. That is a compl I have watched the service of this location steadily decline over the last two years. My weekly visits have turned to monthly and as of today have turned to never returning to this location. read more

We went to McAlister's today as a pick up customer and we had to wait an hour in the hot car before I called and asked wth was going on. Only to have my food brought out right away. The time on the ticket was 20 min earlier. So apparently I was sitting outside while my food was sitting inside. Called the manager to here it was a mess with scheduling. I am a big fan of McAllister's deli. Whenever I go home to the Midwest I make sure to visit at least once. I would really like for them to have something out here on the West Coast.McAlister's is best known for their sweet tea and the refills. But Mcalisters is so more! They have healthier options if you know where to look and how to order. I really enjoy going for their salads and sandwiches. One of my favorites is this savanna chop salad, which has everything that I like including chicken and cucumbers feta cheese and a nice balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I also really like their chicken tortilla soup., It has just the right amount of spice and heat to it, along with their tortilla chips. They also have spiders, which are two regular size big potatoes put together. I get their veggie spud with chicken but you can get it with other toppings to you including chili, cheese and bacon, and just a regular baked potato. What I really like about McAllister's but I haven't found on the West Coast, are the good deli sandwiches. Deli sandwiches like a Ruben, and open faced turkey club, and the chicken bacon McAllister's sandwich. Sometimes for lunch I would just enjoy going and getting a sandwich and a soup and a T. Ice tea. The other cool thing about McAllister's, is that they do a pic too. So you can combine a sandwich, soup, and/or salad and you get half the portion of the bigger regular menu item. So it helps the calories, but it also lets you try other things on their menu because you can combine them. They have great cookies and magic cookie bars if you have a sweet tooth. And they also have a T club which let you stamp card for all the sweet teas and/or gallon tea jugs that you Purchase. Like I said I really miss this place and every time I go back to the Midwest I try and make a visit so please McAllister's come out to the West Coast. read more

I ordered lunch today. This was my first time eating here. I ordered using yelp which took me thru Grubhub. If there is ever a next time, I'll just order thru the website. I never received a text telling me my order was ready so my food set for about 20 minutes longer than it should. When I arrived, they couldn't find my food by my last name, which is what they asked for. The gentleman bringing out orders was extremely polite and eventually found it under my first name. Overall my experience wasn't too bad. However; I ordered the Smokey Pepper Jack Turkey, BBQ chips, Pickle, and added a cup of potato soup, for myself. I ordered the club sandwich with chips, and pickle for my husband. I didn't check my bag because of the delay finding my food I was running late for a meeting. Upon returning home, I realized I did not receive my chips or pickles. The food was warm but still good. I didn't get to take pictures because as I said I was late for a business meeting. Staff was less then courteous. Felt like I was "putting them out" when I asked for something. Watched the girl running the register handle food on several occasions. Then she ran out of change and passes money over the food wind and the manager rolled rolls of coins across the same window the food gets passed through. Great food, extremely poor service. I've avoided reviewing the poor service in the past. I tried to excuse it and give them the benefit of the doubt. Not this time. Waited 15 minutes to order my lunch. 2 people in line. Food finally came and it was good. Decided to go back for a cookie... waited 15 minutes more (yeah I waited, surprised me too, lol). The staff wander around, group up, talk to each other and have no idea how to prioritize the things needed to be done. They avoid looking at the people in line.... the manager on duty does paperwork and fills gallon jugs of tea rather than assist the customers. When asked if there was someone else to help, she just glanced over and said someone would help soon. (One register open at this point), 4 people behind the counter... several people on break wandering around the dining room. Other customers in line said this happened quite often. We tried ordering via the DoorDash app, and we LOVED it! The food was good, and generous helpings. We got The New Yorker... HOLY COW that thing is massive, but soooo tasty as well! My husband ordered The Italian and he loved it also. We got a mac & cheese and a cole slaw on the side, both were decent (they just didn't compare to the amazing sandwiches).
