This Penn Station location is AMAZING. Everything made is always perfect and the staff enjoys having small talk with the customers which makes me feel more of a human and less of a dollar sign. I tried the Italian sandwich instead of the sub and it was very good. I asked for the vinegar and oil on the side so I can add it as I go which made it less soggy. read more

Came here last minute cause we were both craving a sub. So happy we came cause it was delicious. Service was good and fast as well! LOVE their fresh cut fries and always fresh bread! The price for 1 slice of bacon is outrageous, skip it, for .99 you should get 2 slices. The staff was nice, and the place is clean. I definitely like it better than Subway, and the toppings are fresh. The subs come in 6, 8, 10 or 12 inch! The fresh lemonade is tasty and quenches your thirst. read more

Placing an order for pickup at 7:40, arriving at 7:35...going to pickup area , looking at entire staff and was not acknowledged until almost 7:50. Horrendous customer service. Then the 'manager' Preston seemed to be under the influence and could care less. 5 people on clock, and not once could anyone say "can I help you", "here for pickup" in a 15 minute window... Convenient to get to and plenty of parking. Staff was friendly. The inside and the bathroom were clean. We ordered and received our food pretty quick. I thought my classic steak sub was to salty. So I was having a really looooong day and I needed a hot sub, so I drove about 20 minutes out of the way and they did not disappoint. I usually like this location, but there was a lady cooking today that decided to act remedial. I ordered 2 different orders online. Similar yet separate orders. Paid for in full. I come to pickup and she decided the best judgment was to make one of the orders. I'm sure workers are aware that orders are paid for in order to be submitted. Why wouldn't you make them or call since you ask for contact info for an online order. What took the cake is she didn't even apologize for her fuck up. You have one job. Sandwiches have gotten pretty pricey over the years, but I like to indulge in a greasy treat every once in awhile. Penn Station creates one of my favorite Philly Cheesesteaks in Indianapolis. It's real steak with ooey-gooey provolone. I get most he extra fixings like grilled onions and mushrooms, mustard, and banana peppers. My second fav sandy is the mighty Reuben. I think it's perfect though some purists might think differently because it's not on traditional rye bread. However, the french bread is awesome! (I also reccomend getting the sauerkraut on the side, especially if you're getting it to-go. It make your sandwich all soggy and unappetizing.) And don't forget to get fries to share. They're not the best, but at least they're fresh-cut. Just remember to add some salt and pepper to it, and you'll be alright. read more

The people working were as helpful and kind as can be. I tried the artichoke sub, added mushrooms, tomatos, and red onion. I also saved teriyaki sauce for the mayo... DELISH! Throw a little malt vinegar on that bad boy and .. Perfection They accidentally put mushrooms on my dads sub. He was not happy about it, to say the least. The man HATES mushrooms (how!? When I love them so much!) but anywho, it was quick and no problem at all to remake. Everything is scrumptious and juicy and the fries are crispy and (as always) the freakin best. read more

Penn Station is hands down my favorite sandwich spot. I love LOVE LOVE the pizza sub. I hate that there are no locations in Atlanta. The bread is so soft and yummy. All the ingredients and toppings are fresh and your sandwich is prepared right in front of you. Yeah Subway does that, but their ingredients are suspect and they microwave your food. MICROWAVE?! Nah...I'm good. Penn Station is grilling that meat and onions and peppers right there. You can see and smell the yummy goodness! Then, of course you have to make it a combo with their fresh cut fries and lemonade. Best lunch ever. The last time I came here was exactly 1 month ago I came for lunch and spent $15 plus tax and it was VERY nasty and I was very disappointed however today I came in order my usual and the food was fantastic I guess it depends on the day and who's cooking your food that's how you know if the food will be good or not read more

I went in for colts blue Monday: Philadelphia cheesesteak came out hot and as ordered. I'm watching them prepare the sandwich and I am amazed, they cut off an inch of the roll to make sure I only got 6 inches. I'm not complaining, it's just awful petty to waste food like that. Haven't been there in a few months but wow did talent exit the building? The Italian sub came with cheese (all on one side of sandwich) and chunks of meat skewed to the other side - had to rebuild it. No onion, lettuce, tomato, or spices????? Prices are really getting ridiculous- $21 for a 6", 8" ; two small fries and two drinks. We did get offered a free cookie. read more

We have visited this location several times and have always had at least a decent sandwich, more often it's really good. Went out to pick up sandwiches for dinner tonight only to find that they are closed company wide. I'm all for a company giving it's employees a day off, but how hard is it to post your 2015 holiday hours on your website or Facebook page? We visited both pages before leaving and nothing was mentioned on either one. We may visit if we happen to be in the area and see that they are open, but we won't waste gas just to find out that they aren't open. read more

My coworker recommended this place to me. He told me it was the best sub place ever in the city of Indianapolis. Apparently, he hasn't been out of the city to taste what I feel is a good sub. I even have to say that Quizno's and or Subway is much better. I will say the positive was the fact that the employees greeted me when I came in the front door. Went over my sandwich toppings 3 times with shift supervisor and cashier 1 time. Ordered no salt fry. I had to tell them 2 times to please drop the fries so my sandwich wouldn't get cold. Got my food to go, started eating it on my way out of town for work, realized they put wrong toppings on even after it was clear with them after 4 times. Since I was driving and would be late to my destination, I tried calling twice to tell them of the issue. No one answered, I'm not surprised considering they were swamped and the new girl was not helping and getting disgusted with the other workers. I had to throw sandwich out because it was a 1 day trip and I was not going to get bugs or rodents in my car, trying to hold on to the Sandwich to take back the next morning. Finally got through on the phone the next day and spoke with the same supervisor that took my order. I told her the issue and she got nasty with me when I told her that they should still replace the sandwich. She said they won't talk to me unless they have the sandwich. I was on a business trip with no refrigeration enclosure to keep the sandwich. So I had to throw it out. I took pictures but she didn't want to even see that. I called corporate to complain and ask for a callback from the store owner. One month has gone by and still no communication from the owner. Won't be patronizing them anymore.
