I was an the area and did a search for restaurants and this place popped up. I must admit that I was skeptical at first because there was not much about this place on Yelp or the Web. I decided to check it out anyway, and I am glad that I did. It is a diamond in the rough and one of the area's best kept secrets....but not anymore! This restaurant is kind of hard to find. You really have to know where you are going? This is not a place that you just stumble upon. It is located at the end of a desolate strip mall. There is an adequate lot available to park, that the restaurant shares with the other businesses in the strip mall. The place is kind of small, but has a few tables that you can sit at and eat. The staff there was very friendly and welcoming. You can tell that they value their customers. They even knew all the regulars by name. If it is fried, you can probably find it here. They have fried chicken gizzards, and fried chicken. They also have elote, Philly sandwiches, burgers, ribs, egg rolls, tenderloins, and chicken sandwiches. I went with their 2 piece fried chicken dinner, which came with potato wedges and I also got a 1/2 pound of fried chicken gizzards. The chicken did not disappoint. It far exceeded my expectations. The chicken gizzards were very good too. None of that food made it home. As an added bonus, they have hot sauce available that really set the chicken off. I was very happy with my meal and wanted more. Who knew that a Hispanic owned fried chicken joint would work. Well it does and it works well. I am glad that I made it here and highly recommend that you seek this place out and give them a shot.

Found this place in a local review field fried chicken and figured I would give them a try. Sure glad I did. The shop itself is a little off the road in an older strip mall. When you walk in, you are hit with fragrant aromas of freshly-fried chicken. I chose the three-piece lunch, and it was very solid. Chose the Mac-and-cheese for my side, which was also creamy and flavorful. Overall, I was pleasantly impressed, and will not hesitate to return.

Unreal fried chicken for an affordable price. A three piece with one side or potato wedges is under $6. Family owned. Homemade horchata. And they have great wings. I'm not sure what else you want out of this place. It's as good as places that charge two or more times at much.

Best fried chicken in Indy. The staff is great and prices reasonable. The neighborhood is a little rough but worth the drive.

The dining areas are cozy and clean. We were welcomed when we walked in and invited to sit anywhere. We took a seat at the bar. Our server, Katie, was genuinely friendly and attentive. The menu offers a mix of burgers, sandwiches, wraps and salads. A set of dinner entrees is available as well including daily specials. Daily drink specials are listed on a board. I ordered a bowl of their famous clam chowder. The chowder was delivered quickly and was nice and hot with croutons. The chowder is thick and creamy with a hint of spicy heat. I loved it There is plenty of parking in the strip mall. An outdoor patio is available. The bar is located only a block off 465, but there is no on ramp going north. I felt like I was near the coast. I'll be back. I hear the pork chops are phenomenal.

I was lucky enough to grab a night where the 8oz filet, potatoes, and salad was only $17. My steak was cooked pretty good - I asked for medium rare but it was more like medium. The salad was larger than I expected and rather good. The mashed potatoes needed work - I'm a fan of real potatoes not just rehydrated flakes but for the price I wouldn't complain. The service wasn't 'warm' but they were attentive and everyone worked together.

It's a great perk that you can enjoy the views of the reservoir from the bar area, though they have plenty of seating right by the water if you're looking for the full outdoor experience. The service was top-tier, especially Cassidy at the bar, who was absolutely amazing and made the visit even better. The food was easily the most flavorful I've had in a long time. I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller to start, and they were presented beautifully. For my main, I had the Shrimp and Sausage Pasta, but subbed the pasta for chicken--it arrived fresh, steaming hot, and perfectly seasoned. To top it all off, the Berry Dangerous cocktail was the perfect choice. If you're looking for fresh food, a great view, and amazing service, this is the spot. 5/5 stars!

We sat on the patio, and although the shades were closed earlier in the day, they opened them later once the weather warmed up, which made the vibe even better. Our server was very nice and attentive, especially with our large group. We ordered a half mimosa tower, and I really enjoyed it. I also tried Rico's Coffee from the brunch menu, which was so good and paired perfectly with the brunch vibe. I ordered the French toast platter, which came with four pieces of French toast, scrambled eggs, brunch potatoes, and bacon. It was delicious and so filling that I had to get a to-go box. The yogurt parfait was also really good, and everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their food and drinks, including the Bloody Mary options and tea. We ordered liquid marijuana shots as a group and these were great. One thing to note: we brought a cake for our friend and didn't know there was a $25 outside cake fee, so be aware of that if you plan to bring your own dessert. After brunch, we walked around the beautiful grounds, and a few of us stayed longer on the patio. The high-top seating wasn't the most comfortable, but the drinks and appetizers made up for it. The whiskey sour was good, and we enjoyed the crab cakes, calamari, shrimp, and Rico's dip. This turned into an all-day affair with good food, drinks, beautiful weather, and great company. A really nice spot for brunch, celebrations, and patio time.

The menu read Catfish not Swai so I was a little disappointed eating this fish which was Swai not catfish because I had my mouth set on Catfish. I also ordered a side of fried shrimp. They were crispy , fried to perfection. Honestly should have chose it for my entree. The server was nice. I always love the competitive games on the table. Service was fast. Those honey butter croissants are quite enticing after all. Unfortunately, the Bourbon Glazed Salmon I usually order was undercooked and I couldn't eat it. Not sure what is going on with the management but it seems to be lacking the leadership and skills required to run a successful restaurant. It makes me sad that I can't go back there anymore. I just won't risk getting sick and need more consistent service.
