I ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta yesterday at the grand opening at the new location: 3827 N Mitthoefer Rd. The Chef himself William was very professional and generous. The blue raspberry lemonade mixed with the regular lemonade was phenomenal. Very excited to see what levels he can take this restaurant to. Overall, the food was delicious. The only suggestion I would have is the two young ladies that were supposed to be assisting him maybe need a little bit more guidance or training and actually assist the Chef so that he can focus on his craft. Tried this spot for the first time today. We had high hopes but were extremely disappointed. The wings were supposed to have original buffalo sauce - instead they had no sauce at all. In addition, they were very dry. The chicken salad was huge but the lettuce was wilted and the chicken was just as dry as the wings. The greens and lemonade were the best items we ordered. The greens contained smoked turkey but no seasoning. The lemonade was good though. We won't be back. read more

I have been wanting to come to this place for months, after seeing all the buzz they have created on social media, and I finally made it here. Some people that I know and will remain nameless are scared to come here because they say that it is not in a good part of town. This place is fine. I felt totally comfortable here. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall and has a decent sized indoor dining area. They have music playing in the background and the staff their is very friendly and courteous. If you are getting carry out, you may want to consider ordering ahead (by phone or online) so that it is ready when you get there. I will admit that the place is not the cleanest spot, but man, there food is good. They have an extensive menu with delicious food such as wings, burgers, pork chops, and seafood. They have daily specials and desserts also. I ordered some fiery pineapple wings, which came with some fries and a steak and chicken stuffed pineapple (for dinner later). It took about 20 minutes to get my food and when I did, it was on. The wings and fries never had a chance. I gobbled them like I was Pac Man with ghosts on my heels and they were power pellets. The wings were drenched in the unique fiery pineapple sauce. The fries were sprinkled with parmesan cheese. The food was so really good. My friend got one of their cheese burgers and said that it was one of the best cheese burgers that they have had in a while. Later that night I ate my stuffed pineapple and I was hooked. Wow, it was perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. I highly recommend visiting this spot and supporting this local business. They have some of the best food. My first visit was AMAZING! The staff was super friendly, from me walking in the door.. Until I walked out. I have more food items I want to try when I come back. Like the loaded salad. However, on this trip, I ordered the loaded baked potato with added tomatoes and a small order of fried green tomatoes. The loaded potato was reasonably sized. Not a big Idaho baker, but it also was not a small russet. I ordered steak as my protein. I was a bit disheartened, that they didn't have actual steak slivers. Instead, they had shaved steak. Granted, I like shaved steak.. But I like it as a Philly steak. In addition, some people love nacho cheese on their potatoes.. I don't. I just enjoy a melted shredded cheese. The fried green tomatoes were DELICIOUS! I would like to order 20,000 more. To sum it all up, the food was good! Today was our first time here The place was set up nicely, the cashier was really friendly and assisted us with a choice on drinks blackberry lemonade with fresh fruit. I order the loaded baked potato with shrimp and my boyfriend order the salad with steak. Oh yeah these were great choices, the portions sizes very generous. I have been following this restaurant on Instagram for awhile now. We finally went tonight. It is situated in the old Service merchandise strip mall on 38th Street. I forgot how delicious the salads looked online so I went with the sweet chili shrimp. My husband got 12 wings. We also got fried green tomatoes to split. We sat down and our server brought us some delicious water with fruit in it. We were served our fried green tomatoes that were amazing. The breading was perfect. They were cooked just the way I like them. And served w a side of ranch and hot sauce. Our food came out and look wonderful. I didn't think my husband could eat all those wings. This small, local, and black owned restaurant is located in a strip mall with a hair salon, furniture store, and a nightclub. Its food truck is sitting outside making it easier to spot. The dining area is closed due to COVID so currently it's pick up only. The young lady taking orders wore a mask and there was a plexiglass shield in front of the register. A small fridge housing the cold dessert offerings sat on the long counter along with other sweets. Menu is on a large chalkboard behind the counter. I decided to try their Friday fish special. The options are a 2 piece catfish or whiting or 5 piece perch. I chose the catfish. The meal comes with fries, coleslaw, and a drink for only $10. After placing the order for two meals, I had about a 10 minute wait. They present the meal to you in its container for viewing before bagging it up. The fish was fried just right to my liking and everything was seasoned well. While waiting, I heard 3 call in orders come in for chicken Alfredo so I'll probably try that next time I'm on the west side. read more

Today was my first time eating here! I've been here so much about this place I had to try it. I saw on their FB page that they was having a Thunda Thursday special for $12. It comes with 3 whole wings, 5 Cheese Mac n Cheese, Greens with Turkey, Sweet Potatoes and Corn Bread or Roll. I ordered that and my wife ordered Fish n Chips. Overall the presentation of the food was great and it smelled so good! Customer service was great as well. The guy who took our ordered explained a few things since it was our first time. The taste of the food was pretty good. Everything had a spice to it! The chicken wings were huge and fried perfectly, the greens were ok the only thing is they don't take the turkey bones out after the turkey breaks up. The Mac n Cheese was not a fave of mines. I'm a huge mac n cheese fanatic and for this to be an5 cheese mac n cheese I was sad that it was not real cheese. It was powdered cheese. They forgot my sweet potatoes and I forgot to until I got home. No biggie for me though not a huge sweet potato eater anyway. Everything is made to order very fresh and the order of fried green tomatoes are everything thing. I showed up the next day for $2 Tuesday. Yes the tacos are $2 and so delicious. I got steak tacos and shrimp tacos . The shrimp was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I also was happy to see the owner giving exceptional customer service and walking me through the menu and options. First let me say this place has great customer service. Very courteous & down to earth. Good prices & daily specials. The steak tacos were good but my $20 seafood platter really disappointed me. The crab meat was dark in color & tasteless. It had alot of water in it as well so when you tried to pop the legs open they just twist it back and forth. My shrimp & sausage were over cooked & dry. Horrible service!!!! I placed my order at 2:20 pm. I waited an hour and a half for a kids 1/2 burger, some wings and 2 tacos. I understand it's made to order but when the people who came in after me and ordered on site and not over the phone got there food and left and my family and I were still waiting it became a problem. My mom went inside and asked and the girl told her five minutes. The cook hollered out ten. Half an hour later i went back in and he hadn't even started our food yet. The girl at the counter had a nasty attitude because I wanted a refund. Then she only refunded me part of what I paid. When I originally paid I included tip. Amazing Burger!! Wow! This food truck stopped by my office today and I decided to give it a try. I got the Huge Impact double burger and fries. The burger was pretty big, two patties, two kinds of cheese, an amazing siracha mayo, all on a large pretzel bun. Freshly cooked and piping hot! The burger came with a side of seasoned fries. The fries reminded me of Rally's fries, but a little better in my opinion. I added on a side of their "Not Choz" cheese sauce for the fries. The cheese sauce could have been a little thicker, but it was still good. The burger was $9.00, the cheese sauce was $1.50. So, for $10.50, I'm stuffed, and the food tasted amazing! That siracha mayonnaise is absolutely incredible and definitely distinguishes this burger from any other one that I've had. I will definitely visit this food truck again! read more
