    To-go order

This was my first digital drive thru order of 2026. I ordered on the CAVA website for The Farm Zionsville location. Ordering online was smooth. I got the Spicy Lamb meatballs and Sweet Potato bowl, with half power greens/half brown rice. Also I got a side of pita chips, and a Mint Cucumber Lemonade. The bowl was delicious, but my one drawback is that I only got one lamb and a half lamb meatballs within the entire bowl! I definitely feel like more lamb could've been added, at least 4 meatballs. I did not get to enjoy any ambiance because I brought my food home to eat. I will say that it took about 15 minutes from the time I made my order until I picked it up from CAVA location. The staff was so nice and very accommodating to my request of getting another taziki dip sauce for my order. They did not charge me the additional price. I will be back for another visit.

We were greeted when walking in. The restaurant was clean for the most part. The guy making my food put on new gloves to make my order. My food was filling but not too heavy if that make sense. I was full but not overly stuffed. My bowl and a drink was about $19. I definitely had leftovers for the next day. A few tables weren't clean but one of the workers cleaned up without being asked.

So pretty, light, and colorful inside! I immediately loved the vibes. I already love their seed-oil free hummus at Whole Foods so knew it'd be good. I ordered a steak bowl and was impressed by how good the steak was (not chewy - yay!). The sauce selection is top tier and I liked that they had tables out front too. We'll be back!

    Greek Chicken Wrap

CAVA had its Grand Opening today in Zionsville. The event was low key and perfect. Managers welcomed us at the door. This was my first visit to a CAVA. CAVA is an upscale fast food shop that serves Mediterranean style food in bowls or pitas. Entrees start at $11. The staff was patient as we studied the menu. I had a Greek Salad which comes with grilled chicken and choice of greens and toppings. I took the recommended toppings with Greek vinaigrette dressing. The salad ingredients tasted fresh and the chicken was so tender that it melted in my mouth. There was a lot of great flavor. I loved coating the pita bread with the hummus and tzatziki in the salad. I could have made a whole meal on the tzatziki. The vinaigrette was a tad heavy on the vinegar was my only complaint. My husband had the Greek Chicken Pita wrap. He commented on how much he loved the freshness of the pita bread. The fillings were delicious. It was a great wrap! The dining area has a handful of tables indoors and a really nice patio with covered tables outside. The music was a little loud, but I'm sure they will work that out over time. There is plenty of accessible parking in front of the building. I'll be back.

Spicy lamb meatballs and sweet potatoes

Update: this time I tried the new spicy lamb and sweet potato bowl. Delicious. The lamb had a little kick- nothing overwhelming but it was good. The roasted sweet potatoes were lovely. What really makes the dish in my opinion is the pickled onion. I also asked for roasted corn to be added to the bowl which was yummy. Service was excellent. The inside is fine but really seems to have a fast food vibe. I saw a lot of takeout going out the door and they have a drive through which I plan to try next time.

I have tried CAVA multiple times. I think this location is lacking something. The employees aren't very helpful or kind, and it seems like stuff is always out or not refilled, including the drinks. I have learned to look at what is available before adding a drink to my order. The food is not consistent and I feel like it should be for a chain restaurant. I have continued to give it another chance, I am hoping it's just because they are new and trying to iron out the details. I would highly suggest doing a build your own, instead of one of their already put together entrees, you save money. Also, you get a free pita with your order but they don't tell you that or put it in your bag.

A Mediterranean version of Chipotle with fresh ingredients offering a family friendly environment. There is a limited amount of indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff was extremely patient with people deciding what they wanted as the line kept growing longer.I opted to create my own bowl. I started with a base of romaine and basmatii rice. For dips I chose 2 scoops of tzatziki and a scoop of roasted eggplant. Mains i opted for grilled chicken. Toppings i chose fire roasted corn, tomato + onion, and Persian cucumbers. To top it all off I chose the garlic dressing. The bowl was delicious . I also tried the lavender/ blackberry lemonade which was refreshing.

Exquisite cuisine. Newly established location with a vibrant environment and delicious creations. Everything from the proteins and vegetables to the pita bread, the whole spread cooked to near perfection with the flavors on point. Hoping to return for some more Mediterranean magic.

It had a kick, so it was what it said it would be. -we also split a Cheese Pizza ($17) on their regular crust. the cheese was generously applied, sauce was OK, the crust was subpar and not something we would order again (Visit #2) -Bavarian Pretzel Sticks ($12) come as an order of 4 lightly salted sticks with sides of nacho cheese and honey mustard. The sticks are among the better pretzel offerings I have had. Not the best (that would be 101 craft kitchen and Red Front), but definitely better than average. -Da Beef ($14) was a nice portion of beef. Because I was doing carryout, I got the sauce on the side. -the sandwich came with a side of their in house chips, which I really liked. they aren't seasoned if that's your thing, but I simply appreciate a fresh made potato chip and they were that Overall, if you like meat, it's probably on their menu and I'm guessing will scratch your itch. If you're not a meat-eater, it probably won't appeal. If stairs aren't your thing, it could be a dealbreaker unless there's another route I don't know of.

The first couple of times I was here, everything was fairly smooth and service was great. The last time that I was there (a week ago), I did not have that same experience. There are different people working there, unsure if newer or not, but it was definitely not as inviting and my order was wrong, so it was not typed in correctly. I did not say anything, I am positive they would have made it right, but it was a no biggee. I also ordered a coffee and when I went to get it, it was still not made. My food came out but no coffee. I was told "I will make it for you now" and then it was brought out a little bit later. Unfortunately, I was finished eating at that point, but no biggee. I guess I was excited, but she scolded me several times to the point that my endorphins had sunk to the ground. I tried to put the incident behind me and wait my turn to go in. I ordered a bowl with Korean beef. The clerk told me there was no charge for avocado, so I added avocado. When I checked out, I was charged for avocado. I guess they still have a few hiccups to work out. My bowl was delicious, I loved the flavorful Korean beef and I can make a meal of the pickled onions. The Black Currant Black tea was very good. I love the Miso soup which comes with every bowl. My husband got a Steak Bowl which he enjoyed. The steak was cooked perfectly. The dining room is the usual cute upscale orange and white. We'd heard great things about Rosie's, so we were excited to finally give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience just didn't live up to the hype. Our food came out less than five minutes after ordering, which in a packed restaurant immediately made us wonder how fresh it really was. After tasting it, it was pretty clear much of it had been prepared well beforehand. I even asked for my potatoes to be crispy, and the response was simply, "We can't do that," which was surprising for such a popular breakfast spot. On top of that, almost everything lacked seasoning and fell pretty flat flavor wise. We barely touched our meals and didn't even want to take the leftovers home, which is rare for us. To be fair, this is just our personal experience, and it's obvious a lot of people genuinely enjoy Rosie's. We're not trying to be overly critical over one visit. But based on the meal and service we received, it's not a place we'd personally recommend.
