The hours of operation NEED to be updated! This location is not open 24/7. In fact, they don't start taking orders even after they turn on the lights. There is a hospital 1/4 of a mile away. Many people need to be at work by 6:00 am. WHY would you not be open early? With the rising cost of everything in our lives, I expect more for the increased prices, that includes BETTER SERVICE! At the very minimum open when you should be open. read more

My husband and I recently got the double quarter pounder meal deal for the first time and enjoyed our regular craving of McDonald's.

We were super excited that a McDonald's opened closer to our house. Makes weekend breakfast much easier. Some days service is pretty good other days service just sucks. Today was a suck day. Pulled up and ordered pretty fast so I thought might be a good day. Got up to the pay window and the kid not even looking at me mumbles something. I thought sounded like my order but turned out not to be. I waved at him thru the window to get his attention and told him that wasn't my order. He said I did say oatmeal didn't I ? I said I couldn't understand what you said. After getting a manager she decided to comp the meal I got instead of refunding my card and charging it again. I was fine with that. Got my food and got home. Unwrapped the food. My Sausage egg muffin was made with a hamburger and had grilled onion. Other sandwich Egg McMuffin was made right but had grilled onions inside the wrapper. Kinda felt like retaliation. It would be nice if people were trained to look up, speak up, and to be even the slightest bit friendly. I've worked food service. I work retail. Fake a smile fake friendly for the 30seconds or less that you are in front of a customer... it's not hard. read more

Lines are long every single night. This location can barely handle what any other McDonald's can. Sadly this is the only decent McDonald's around the area. The employees don't seem to be too experienced with fast food. Since this is a new location, it looks like a lot of teenagers' first job. Some days they a good job of getting people in and out but not much. I had a nice cashier recently. read more

do not come here unless you want your order to get messed me and my family ordered a cheeseburger and it came with no cheese and it was cold.they forgot a patty on our big Mac and added three extra pieces of cheese. Our ice cream was melted and they forgot half our order. read more

Whenever I get breakfast here and if they are busy they greet and let me know that they will be with me in just a minute. im always greeted at the pay window with a good morning and im big about welcoming your customers with a great attitude. I went through the drive thru and the guy who took my order had great customer service which is always nice ! When I got to the pay window the lady was okay not great on customer service and told me the coupons weren't working which is fine but I was disappointed she didn't even give it a try . My fries came hot & fresh however they didn't even fill them up all the way my "large fry" was basically a medium . read more

if I could I would give them no star. When I first arrived they didnt great me till about two minutes later. then when I got to the window, I asked the lady a question and she closed the window on my face. I went to the second window and when I received my Carmel frappe it was suppose to have Carmel drizzled throughout the cup but no... oh no it didn't have the extra Carmel At ALL. when I got it, the Carmel frappe only had drizzle on top of the wipe cream and none extra. so when asked for the extra drizzle. I had to pull up so they can fix it but before I even pulled up I asked for extra sauce and wasn't given extra sauce. Then when I got the Carmel frappe I asked for more jelly and it was a extra charge. when I started bitting into the food it tasted like freezer. I was not satisfied at all this is a horrible place to eat at in the morning. read more

Service is not just terrible....customers are ignored. This morning three women. Behind the counter came out and screamed at a woman who had waited 15 minutes for her food. And I thought it was bad that our order was wrong and the food was cold. Skip this one. This McDonald's is brand new but it is probably one of the worst McDonald's in Indianapolis. Rarely does it open on time, this morning I was in the drive thru at 6:25 and no one was there although all lights were on. At least 10 cars drove up while I was there. I think that they are having problems staffing this location. The quality of the food is not good either, buns are always stale but I find that to be true at almost all McDonald's in the past year. I have all but stopped eating at McDonald's and only come thru for an ice coffee. They should shut down until they can staff this location properly. read more

I had one of the worst experience ever at this McDonald's. I'm super empathetic due to COVID, being short staffed, and understanding that these employees are not as experienced as others. I placed an order for a double cheeseburger, small fry, 6 piece nuggets and a big mac meal. Nothing was special!! It took 4 people to get the order correct. Yes, I was given the wrong food 3 times. On the 4th, I was shorted an item and they still had to make a correction. Come on guys. This isn't rocket science, it's reading a receipt and putting the correct items in a bag. They would have gotten it correct when the second person came to the car (since I was pulled over for 20 minutes) but they didn't want to listen to what I was explaining to them. They were more interested in just getting away from the window as fast as possible. I provide Customer Service for a living so I feel for employees when they have to deal with crappy customers so I go above and beyond as a patron. This place however has issues with the basics... Matching an item to a description and LISTENING. GEEZ people, get it together. No wonder people are having a hard time in finding talent. read more

I went to this McDonalds at 1445 West 86th Street last night and the young man took my order he wasn't friendly at all and I knew I was going to have a problem when I got to the drive thru window he gave me my total with a attitude and it was taking me a minute to get my bank card out because I had surgery on my hand he started making all kinds of gesture's and I asked him if he was okay he looked at me and said what me honey I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with you I told him I had surgery on my hand sorry for taking to long and he kept saying me honey I guess he was trying to get me upset I told him I'm not your honey and you're very rude and disrespectful he folded his arms and looked at me and said what honey what I wasn't going to go back and forth with this young man so when I got home I called and spoke with management about my ordeal, some of these young people are so disrespectful and rude but I'm not the one they want to play the game with, I will get it taken care of. read more

I would have loved to write a better review but unfortunately cannot. I ordered a Daily double no onions and use the app code to get a Free Friday Medium Fry. I pulled up to the window to get my food, the young lady handed me this small bag with just the burger in it. The young lady had this weird look on her face, and she basically stared at me. I explained to this young lady that I ordered fries and the other older lady said I would have to pull around and reorder. I explained to them that I ordered the fries and also gave my code from the app. The creepy younger lady staring still like she is trying to read between my skin without saying anything. Wierd. Then the older lady told me to pull up the the second window. She brought the fries to the second window and didn't even say "Sorry about that mistake" or "Have a good day". Now lets get to the burger, SALTY. Wow I need to drink a whole glass of water to dilute all that salt. Please McDonald's quit adding the extra seasoning salt to burgers unless the customer specify too. Way too much salt. You eat that salty burger everyday you are going to have high blood pressure and need open heart surgery later on in life. I wish this experience could have been better. Again lay low on the salt and smile sometimes, quit staring at people and apologize if a mistake was made. read more
