They have dine in or carry out. I went with the pick 2 option, which is perfect for indecisive people like me who can't quite choose what to order. It allows you to mix and match 1/2 portions of some of the original entrees. I chose a spud and salad combination. For the spud, I went with the Honey BBQ Pork Spud- a baked potato loaded with pulled pork,honey BBQ sauce,green onions, cheddar-jack cheese,and butter. To make it even better, I added diced tomatoes and grilled chicken. Everything was fresh, and the potato was mouthwatering. It looked so good I started eating and forgot to take a picture. For my second choice, I picked the Chef Salad, which came with mixed greens, black forest ham,roasted turkey, bacon,cheddar-jack cheese,diced tomatoes, cucumbers and croutons. I went with the buttermilk ranch for the dressing. Once again, the ingredients were fresh and the sald was delicious. Service was great, the parking lot is shared amongst several other businesses therefore cluttered, & the outdoor patio is CLEAN! I am giving this visit 4 because both mine & my daughter's sandwiches were cool and our soups were not hot. I had no idea that they renovated McAlisters. They now have a self-serve for drinks (except lemonade). I was able to secure my birthday treat. They no longer have oatmeal raisin cookies, but they do have lemon blueberry. I ordered a pick two with a veggie sandwich and veggie nachos. Of course, it was good. The lady taking my order was super helpful and patient. She even wished me a happy birthday. Plus, when they called my name when my order was ready. She said my name right. So the good and the bad of tonight's dinner. Lets start with the bad. When we got to the curb side carry out area I called and the phone rang at least 15 times before it disconnected me. The spinach on my club looked awful and past it's shelf life, so I removed it all. The amount of chips we got with the choose two was seriously a joke. It was less than half full small clamshell container with lots of broken chips. The good. I didn't have to cook. Once we got thru on the phone it took less than three min to get our food. My club was a King Club and did have a great amount of meat. The baked potato was great with a good amount of cheese and bacon. County potato soup was neither good nor bad just ok. For some reason the location on Meridian ,which is closer ,was already closed at 6pm tonight. read more

Service was really good. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. They really made an upbeat environment. The food was ok. The spud was dry. The toppings had an ok flavor. Their online presence as well as their door says they're open until 9 o'clock yet they are closed at 8 o'clock. Pretty annoying when you drive all the way here to get food and you've checked online and you see the door says it as well and they don't even bother to change the door saying it's closed. Try to support a business and they act like this. ridiculous! And will advise others not to come either. read more

I visited today with about 18 other family members about 230 pm. Found the tables and the long booth at the back of the restaurant. I am going to assume the lady with the Blue polo shirt with glasses on is some sort of manager. She was helping us decide if we would be better suited out of the way of traffic on the other side or to just stay put. We decided to stay. This lady went out of her way to make sure we had everything, all the kids were happy, and talked to each of us. Such a wonderful experience we had. Very dependable chain for a casual lunch. We stopped in this location while on the northwest side. Our order clerk at the counter was energetic, informative, patient and efficient. We selected two salads - the Savannah Chicken salad and the Grilled Chicken salad - and a side of Mac & cheese. Salads were well portioned and excellent. Mac & Cheese - Tami's 'crack' food - was creamy and flavorful. The food was brought to the table using the numbered order cards displayed on a stand. I usually am a fan of McAlister's however today I visited McAlister's off Michigan rd and it was not as good. I had the chose 2; avocado chicken salad which was good with the exception of brown on my avocados. I love my avocados pretty with no brown or black! Whatever dressing that is, it is really yummy! Then I also had the chicken Caesar wrap which for some reason was extremely salty‍ Then my daughter got her usual spicy southwest chicken grilled sandwich with chicken tortilla soup. The chicken tortilla soup was really salty‍ these are items we get on regular basis just at a different location. So not sure what's up with all the saltiness today. She's unsure of what's going on and the girl who's preparing the food just yells from the back it's not ready yet. Why not I've been here 30 minutes only to find out we're ready. I really like this place! It's a good go to when you are looking for something to eat and you don't know what you want. It's also a great place for those picky eaters and if your bringing the kids along! They have a large dinging room with table and booth seating and a large patio with a shade cover. They have all the typical soups, sandwiches, and salads as well as nachos, and amazing spuds with great toppings. I have never had a problem with any special requests or additions. My favorite feature is you can pick two smaller portions of menu items if you can't just decide on one. They have AMAZING iced tea with free refills! Their quality is always consistent. Back again for a business meeting and they screwed up again. Me and the 3 behind me didn't receive our orders. Everyone behind us in our group got their food and have since finished eating and here we are still waiting for our food. The food showed up on our receipt but apparently not on their end. The manager handled the situation a little better than she did last time. And brought the four of us cookies for our trouble. Overpriced!! it feels like McAlister's is on its way out of business. None of the restaurants' Wi-Fi service works, but they still have routers active, so it highjacks your phone or computer but does not give you Internet access. you have to shut off Wi-Fi and go with cell connection. the food has gotten VERY expensive for what you get! the one I went to today was even "out of spuds". I thought that was supposed to be their signature item. I ordered a choose two with chicken dumpling soup and half a french dip sandwich. They charge an EXTRA $1.50 if the half sandwich is a French dip. So for $15.73 I got a pretty meager sandwich, a cup of soup and an iced tea. I love eating at McAlister's either I'm eating there, or I'll order delivery using the Door Dash app. When, I do order from McAlister's I get the same thing which is Justaspud on that giant spud I get bacon, cheddar- jack, butter, and sour cream. Gather around friends...let me tell you how this location has ruined my McAlister's experience SEVERAL times... Now don't get me wrong - I absolutely LOVE this place. The best sandwiches, salads, soups, spuds ever. I seem to have the best luck at the Fishers locales - but I'll have to review them separately to give them 5 gleaming stars. Now back to my story..well, one evening I decided to stop in with my husband to grab something to go. It was not a busy time, not many people were there. We went to the counter and placed our order with the young lady at the register. If you're unfamiliar with McAlister's, they have an option where you can "choose a Pick 2" (soup/salad/sandwich) combo for somewhere between $6-$8 depending on your choices. I chose that option and my husband chose a spud, sandwich and we had two drinks. When the young lady cashed me out, the order was close to $40. I didn't really pay attention to the cost until my husband made me look and realize that was way too much for what we ordered. Not to mention that I never was given an itemized receipt, and when I asked for one it was like I asked for all the tea in China. When I went back and let the cashier know, she proceeded to re-enter my entire order one by one into the register to make sure it was correct...but it took her about 20 minutes for her to get it right. 20 minutes!!! I was literally standing there helping her add up the cost and continuously reminding her of what we ordered. It took her manager to come out and redo the order, refunding my debit card by at least $10 and straightening out the mess. I was literally not even hungry after going through that ordeal. Did I mention that the young lady said to me (after all of this is done), "I apologize for the mistake, I'm only 16". What???? I love McAlister's and still will frequent it but this location has frustrated me with that particular experience plus other instances of my orders being wrong and items missing. read more

I just have a suggestion; I walked in to have lunch and as I was ordering noticed that one preparer scratched her head. (Did she wag her hands) and the other food preparer in back was eating or grazing. Not sure if she washed her has or had a break time. I was put off by this unsanitary act. At first, I didn't see what the big deal was, but I appreciate that you can customize just about anything on this menu, and I like that online ordering is simple, easy, plus you can calculate the exact amount of calories and macros of what you're eating, even if you sub something out or add extra of something else. Their broccoli cheese soup is delish and keto friendly. I usually get the grilled chicken salad when I forget my lunch. I work nearby. I haven't dined in, but when I do an online order, I pickup from the pickup station and it's always ready super fast. I appreciate them being here and staying here as many other places nearby have left because they couldn't survive the pandemic. We visited the McAlisters on 86th street, across from Keystone at the Crossing. It was disappointing, to say the least. I ordered a veggie sandwich but was told they couldn't make it because they were "out of veggies." Okaaay. I ordered a grilled cheese instead, and stressed that I wanted just a grilled cheese because I'm a vegetarian. We waited approximately 15 minutes for our food and they brought me a ham and cheese. I said I'll just have a bowl of tomato bisque but was told they no longer it at that location. Sooo.... while my husband ate his French dip (he liked it) I had a pickle. (We stopped by Jimmy Johns on the way home so I could get a sandwich.). I had also ordered a slice of the advertised banana butterscotch pie but was told, you guessed it, they didn't have any.
