We came to visit a couple of shops here in Lebanon and decided to have lunch at Arnie's. Arnie's sits on the corner of Washington and Lebanon Street with street parking on Washington and a small parking lot behind Arnie's. Arnie's is a laid-back, casual atmosphere restaurant with large booths and 4-top tables. The menu is diverse with many appetizers, sandwiches, 3 sizes of pizzas, subs, and stromboli's. They serve bottled beer and wine with Coke products. My husband ordered the chili spaghetti with garlic bread and subbed out sweet potato fries for the salad. When it arrived, he was disappointed in the small amount of chili on the pasta. He mentioned to our server, MacKenzie, and she returned with a small fruit bowl filled with chili. More than he needed but very much appreciated. The chili wasn't as spicy as we prefer, but not everyone enjoys hot chili. I ordered the Arnies Cheese Steak with prime rib, sautéed mushrooms, onions, mozzarella, and bistro sauce on ciabatta bread. The prime rib was generous and tender, and I loved the grilled veggies on the soft ciabatta bread. I also ordered an excellent brownie to go. MacKenzie was a terrific server. She was friendly, checked in on us server times, and removed used dishes quickly. We'll definitely stop in again. read more

Arnies is a staples restaurant in Lebanon; mostly where the locals go. The building is historic but definitely needs some updates on the inside. It gives off dingy vibes, for sure. Occasionally, service will be slow when they don't appear busy which makes you go "huh", but the food is always good and the servers are always very friendly, making up for any shortcomings. read more

I've lived in town for over six months, so I figured I'd better give Arni's a try since I like thin crust. While working from home, I ordered a pizza for takeout for lunch. I stopped by the post office to mail a package on the way, and the pizza was ready when I arrived. I ordered a 14 inch mushroom pizza with half sausage and half pepperoni. I also asked for a little extra crispyness so to cook it a little longer. I really liked the pizza! The pepperoni was better than the sausage to me. I will see how it reheats, but I will definitely be back. The reviews say the salads are pretty good, so maybe hubs and I will stop in for a date night soon. read more

My family and I were dining in recently, and overheard from whom I'm assuming is the manager, a heavyset blonde woman, talking down to her employees. She probably thinks no one can hear her but her voice definitely travels. It's very off putting and completely foul behavior. I can imagine how high the turnover rate is at this place, which is a shame bc we have had nothing but great customer service from the young employees she is yelling at. You should give them all raises for how much they seem to have to put up with. It's a pizza place, it's not that deep. If you don't want to be a food manager find another career. Only giving 2 stars bc the food is great and so are the other staff that are clearly working hard and enduring a lot. read more

It was until, I was listening to a white male worker had made quite a racist remark to an African American worker in the kitchen. Poor customer service. They looked like none of them wanted to be there. From the young lady who greeted us today (the one with glasses) to our server. Our server seemed to be in a hurry all the time. Not once she asked how the food was. The only time she ever spoke to us was when it was time to pay and even then it seemed the check was thrown on the table and she quickly walked away from our table. We always get take out from Arni's and it's always correct, hot and fresh. We're big fans of the senior southern fried chicken salad. The service is always friendly and prompt. The pizza is pretty much identical to Pizza King's (which is great). read more

I've been wanting to give an Anri's location a try again. Last time I went to one was back in late 90s at a Northside location in indianapolis that I'm not sure is even there anymore. In recent years I learned an aunt of mine probably ate at the greenwood location once a week. This had me wanting to see if maybe my earlier view would be different now years later. 2023, Lebanon location. Friendly staff and host. Limited beer selection and some wine options. The pizza somehow manages to stay as I remember it. Ok, but nothing with a distinctive quality about it. In a pizza usually there is one thing about it that stays distinctive be it the sauce or cheese or crust.. but no with this pizza it was tough to say. By the end of it, maybe the crust was the best thing especially on a few edges that got more well done? I'm including the pic of my pizza and one of a friend that went with me. I would go again but perhaps at a group urging or try pasta next time. I think the appeal of this place is based on more of a restaurant with various food items more than as a pizza speciality restaurant. read more

I have been here several times. Each time has been different. One time I ordered an individual cheese pizza and it had so much salt on it I couldn't eat it. Another time it was a hamburger, same problem. Service is always great, everyone is friendly and good at answering questions. This pizza joint Is on the square of Lebanon. Parking is found in front of the restaurant or on any of the surrounding streets. If you like salad, they have tasty bowls of goodness for you to enjoy. The salad's elements are well chopped for easy eating. They hook you with big portions. If you are really hungry, order the senior salad. Bothe junior and senior salads come with two delicious hot garlic breads, too. The pizza is great. All pizzas are on thin crust, which I personally prefer. This Arnis is one of my favorite places to get pizza in the Lebanon area. My family and I usually get a large pizza to share and they are great at accommodating what toppings we want and cooking the crust to come out crispy. Their salads are great as well. If you need gluten free dough, they have that as well. Usually have good service and never too busy for eat in dining. They used to serve a lobster bisque soup once a week that my family members loved, but management made the decision to remove it despite its popular following. I was so disappointed yesterday. Arni's always had such good pizza, an Indiana tradition for 50+ years. I ordered a personal pizza. Apparently they now soak their crust in salt. I use very little salt and after one bite of the pizza I was done. I could not get that salty taste out of my mouth. The service was good and I enjoyed the atmosphere but the pizza was awful. When I went in the greeter gave me a hard time about wearing a mask from the door to my table. I told her I have had the virus and shot, plus the governor lifted the mask mandate on April 3rd this year. She didn't care she was in my face the whole time. I said ok I will go somewhere else. She didn't care. If it wasn't for my wife celebrating mothers day with her kids and grand kids I would have left. It amazes me that walmart, applebees arbys, culvars etc have done away with the mask mandate. The cdc says Ican met with those who have had the shot indoors. What is Their problem? Over the years we have made this same purchase hundreds of times but the reason for my anger is this time the price for these two salads (that each one could fit into a cereal bowl) was $17.84!!! No, not an error or a misprint! $17.84!!! I called and talked to the Manager and was told "sorry, but we have just had a price increase.". The restaurant needs some cleaning and it doesn't really give you a homey vibe.
