We went here on our date night and will definitely add this to our rotating list of places we enjoy! We sat at the bar because they were busy and we needed to rush to get to a movie on time. The bartender was very helpful and friendly and filled our orders quickly. I got the smash burger called Austin's Way, which has Strawberry Jam, peanut butter, bacon and siracha on it and it did not disappoint! It came with fries and I also got The cherry vanilla cream soda which was delicious. My husband got the burger called Dave's Way which has the toppings of Pepper jack cheese, white queso, hand-smashed avocado, pico de gallo, lettuce & chipotle ranch. and ordered the double. Loved the decor and the vibes here. We will be back to try more items! Especially after reading that their tenderloin is award winning! read more

If I could give less than one star I would. You could improve the food and the service. I feel bad for the waitress because it's obvious she has had zero training. It took over an hour for a burger and two Philly cheesesteaks. My son didn't like the burger at all. The cheesesteaks were awful. A bunch of over cooked mushrooms and some cheese spooge and very little steak. What steak that was on the sandwich was over cooked ( actually burned). The hostess decided it was time to mop the floors even though there were still customers. Just an awful experience. Wish I could have the time back. read more

Tried this place for a late lunch on a Wednesday. Sign said to wait to be seated and nearly all of the tables and booths in the dining area were full when we arrived. Probably took 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us, at which point some folks had left the bar towards the end of the dining area, so we claimed 3 stools there so that we could watch the World Cup game on their big screen TV to the side of the bar. I ordered a flight [$14, plus $1 upcharge for a seasonal nitro] to get a sampling of their offerings. The Bird Dog Brown, Big 4, Black Parade, and Bourbon Bock were all fine, but the Borracha stood out as the best and most original flavor of the batch. My wife and I split three items. The Jumbo Pretzel ($12) was a disappointment as they changed it from the last time we came. It previously was a large pretzel in the traditional shape that tasted like it was made in house, but this was a collection of grandiose pretzel bites arranged in a circle around a bowl of the provided beer cheese. It simply wasn't as good in flavor nor quantity I believe. The basket of Parmesan fries ($9) were a decent amount of fries covered in parmesan shreds and also had some sauce that covered the middle bottom of the basket that was OK. The star was the Fried Mushrooms ($10), which were beer battered portobello slices that tasted outstanding. Overall, a mostly solid combination of food and beverage to take in the game. Would absolutely get the Borracha and Fried Mushrooms again. read more

Not bad. Nice, bright dining area and friendly staff with a hometown feel. They don't carry any N/A cans if you'd rather have an Athletic, etc. instead of their house beers. They kinda flash fried my fish and chips (see the picture), burning the breading beyond recognition. But it was still edible. Everything else was tasty. read more

We've been here a few times and the food keeps getting better and better each time we visit. I got the grilled chicken tenders with their rub on the side (I wished they could have cooked or tossed it in it) and it was so dang delicious. Will definitely have to come back and try more! read more

This is a very nice microbrewery/gastropub in downtown Lebanon. They have a dizzying array of beers on draft, both their own and from guest breweries. And the food is nothing to sneeze at. They have many interesting items which I believe change regularly. read more

Since my dad lives in Lafayette, we were looking for a place about halfway that was open on Sunday and could easily accommodate a group of 6. Klooz Brewz came up in a google search, so we took a gamble...and it paid off! We were seated right away and the server was quick and efficient with our order. Their brunch menu was a hit with 3 of us who ordered off of it (French toast as the bread for breakfast sandwiches?! Genius!). I built my own seasonal flight and enjoyed all of the 5 pours. My personal favorite was the red IPA. I love red ales, and this a delicious one. We decided this was a perfect halfway meeting place that was a crowd pleaser for all of us--even my two teenagers! read more

I was very excited to try Klooz Brewz. I had business in Lebanon about 5 minutes away, and went in to order my food for carry out so that it would still be super fresh. There was one significant issue with the food. It was SO salty that I couldn't really eat it. It was so disappointing because I couldn't tell that it would have been so tasty if it hadn't been bathed in salt. I would try it again, but only in the restaurant and I would ask for no added salt, then salt it myself. I can't ever remember getting food that was that heavily salted in any restaurant, and it wasn't just one item that was bizarrely salty. read more

This place is a gem! Great gastropub with award winning pork tenderloin, brewery, and hand crafted sodas. Perfect spot to accommodate our large party for graduation/family reunion. Carter was excellent as our Server; always nearby but not hovering, friendly & informative, kept our orders straight and our drinks refilled. Except for the hard metal chairs..lol, everybody was very pleased and we'll be back. Klooz Brewz made a special night even better. Thank you! read more

Wife and I sat down for dinner. We were seated somewhere between 20-30 min without a single waitress taking our order. Numerous waitresses walked by and never even thought to check on us. We didn't even get a drink order. We got up and left. I walked to the bar to notify them and they couldn't care less. I then commented on their Facebook page and they deleted the comment. read more

My daughter and I stopped in this local brewery in Lebanon to check it out. Impressed that the menu had a large selection. We arrived little around after lunch hours and it had quite a full house. We got seated shortly after arriving. Very nice atmosphere inside. The food was good. My Cobb salad was way bigger than expected but very good! The French fries are also great! The price wasn't bad either. The bill was about $48 total. We were simply driving through this town and was a great stop. Parking is morr downtown are. Klooz is a fan favorite in my house. I haven't found a single thing on the menu that I don't like. The food is always impeccable, and they are very busy most nights, because the food is just that good. Service is usually really good as well, although I did have an off night once where the server was not refilling drinks and some food came out wrong. Other than that one time, every other time, everything has been perfect and tastes so good! read more

It's like my 3rd time in and I always sit at the bar. The tables are nice, but so is the bar. Lots of drink options, mixed drinks, beer (of course), ciders. Right on the square in Lebanon, I don't think you can do any better. The buns are made from spent grains and are very good. read more

Sat at the bar. Great menu and drink options bad service at the bar. Asked for water , no water . Poutine was good. My wife had a spud, but it was super dry so she asked for ranch. The bartender did not check. In how the food was. We had to. Flag him down. He was useless. It was not super busy. I like Klooz, but not sure I will return. read more

We had a Fox 59 Be Our Guest Certificate to Klooz Brews, in Lebanon, which expired the next day. So we visited them for the first time. Wow. Are you sorry we waited so late to go there. Food was good, service was friendly and the atmosphere inviting. For an appetizer we got the fried mushrooms for $9. They were fabulous. Some of the best we've had. For dinner I got the tenderloin sandwich and my wife got the Dave's Way burger. It was Tenderloin Tuesday, so my sandwich was $10, including fries. They said it was "award winning" and it was very good. It came with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. Regular price is $14. My wife's burger was $12 for a single and $15 for a double. It came with Pepper Jack cheese, white queso, avocado, pico de Gallo, lettuce and Chipolte Ranch. It was ok. We both preferred the tenderloin. On Tuesday, they have live music. He was great! He did not drown out the ability to have a conversation and we really liked his selection of songs. He sang a mix of Eagles, Zac Brown, Tom Petty, Jackson Brown, and John Denver. If you are in Lebanon, give Klooz Brews a try! read more

Food was marginal at best. "Filet steak bites". Definetly not filet. Cooked well done and tasteless. Under cooked wings and slow not great service all for one of the most expensive meals our group of 4 have had at this tier of restaurants. Service has been slow in the past, but ok. Food has been decent too. But after the experience tonight, won't be going back. read more

Had a great Hefeweizen beer and the Austin's Way Burger. Now I know you're going to say that peanut butter, strawberry jelly, bacon and sriracha doesn't belong on a hamburger, but order it anyway! There were 4 of us from our normal group of 6 that went to the restuarant. The fried mushrooms and cheese curds were enough for a 5 star review. The burger was just alright. Small in size and I ended up removing the bun because it didn't suit my tastes. I also wasn't impressed with the house made soda. I had a root beer and flavored it with marshmallow. The marshmallow flavoring was the only reason I drank as much as I did before moving to a water. I was put off by how close the tables were as it made it near impossible to get out to use the restroom. The staff was very friendly. Would definitely go back. read more

Klooz Brewz - Fried Tenderloin and Side Onion Rings - Breweries Near Me - Lebanon, Indiana

In Lebanon for a work mtg. Spacious, decent street parking. I got there earlier than my party so had time to pursue the menu. Work meeting, so no alcohol for us. There are a lot of unique soda flavors. Upon my server's recommendation, I had the cherry vanilla creme soda with the toasted marshmallow syrup. So not my normal diet coke, ha. It. Was. Delicious. I was early and I had two before lunch even started. When my party did arrive, another friend tried the soda flight, that us a lot of fun, too. Feeling adventurous with my funky soda, I ordered the Austin's Way burger. This is bacon, strawberry jelly, peanut butter and Sriracha. I wanted to love this, but it was all a little overcooked. The bacon and burger were fairly dry, and the sauces could have used more of everything. I might have sent it back had it not been a work lunch with others. I got rid of the bun (too dry with the other items) and added some ketchup and ate it. So it was fine, not great. My fries were nice and hot. My dining companions food, a club, a wrap, a chicken sandwich, looked good. So really, the star of the show was that soda, amd I'd go back and try more things. #yum #ReviewsByRL read more

Klooz Brewz - The main bar - Breweries Near Me - Lebanon, Indiana

Found the spot on a road trip to North Carolina with my dog. Perfect spot for dogs outdoor seating. They even have a doggy menu!

Classy downtown corner space for the adults, bright and inviting atmosphere where I noticed a small afternoon crowd keeping things quiet and fun, I only dropped in for a growler fill and was pointed to the bar table. The casual mood carried on so consistently there was quite a bit of time before I got a menu, samples, and finally was able to pay and exit. Can call this surprising as take outs typically have a sense of time to them, yet thankfully I was finished with all my daily duties and could relax as the staff seemed to wonder all over for no reason while my eyes got to bounce all over. A pumpkin spice latte burger for the Autumn special? What a daring bunch of beef, was nearly tempted in the delay to add that! I'm definitely coming back just to check the tastebuds with a fall favorite risking it all between two buns. I finally got to sample their house brews, keen craft here! Smooth and easy drinking oatmeal stout, pumpkin ale, and fruity gose, I could've gone with any of them but Sam Adams and The Tap hold the win for the pumpkin beer for me. The gose was tingly while quite mild, didn't grab the tongue like I like. The oatmeal stout won my growler! Sensationally dark, bitter, brooding and rough, the first sip is aggressively off putting descending to submitting the whole body and mind to its whims by the third swallow, and yes this is the desperately dark brews I thoroughly enjoy! read more

Our first visit to Klooz Brewz was in December. The restaurant sits on the east side of the square where the lights are hung across Meridian Street. We had no problem finding a parking spot on the street with a short walk. We arrived at prime time on a Friday night for dinner after attending a Christmas Open House at Tru-Finds Treasures. They were packed, but we were seated within 15 minutes. Dinner went well enough that we wanted to return. We were greeted by a friendly young lady and quoted a short wait time. This was our first visit so we didn't know what to expect. Klooz is a small family restaurant with respectable food and a small town atmosphere. The beer and alcohol selection is decent, along with wines, seltzers, and ciders. The menu serves many of the traditional pub food with wings, smash burgers, salads, sammies, smothered fries, fish and chips, plus more. We recently made a point to drive to Lebanon for our second visit. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a cute toddler who was very vocal. We had a difficult time hearing each other, and the little one didn't stop for most of our lunch. Dad finally took the little one out of the dining area. We realize the toddler was just being a toddler, but it made for a tense lunch. The restaurant is cute, well lite with 4-top tables. The bar area is comfortable with several folks dining at the bar top. Klooz also has a covered patio along side of the building. My husband enjoyed the Smash Burger and Fries he ordered. The burger was a tad overcooked but acceptable. I ordered the tropical habernero wings, and I liked the blend of sweet and hot sauce. Our server was terrific, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. She handled the tables well, and everyone appeared satisfied. If you're in Lebanon, stop in and enjoy a burger and beer. read more

Finally, Lebanon has a great brew house that also makes the best tenderloins in Indiana. I kid you not...the batter is delicious, flaky and spicy, the tenderloin is juicy and hot, the sandwich is massive. The pub/brewery is on the southeast corner of the square in Lebanon. The downtown has been revamped and the street is inviting with overhead lights. The restaurant is trendy and spotless. Their tenderloin trophies greet you as you walk in. The hostess greeted us with a smile and seated us outside. Our waitress, McKinsey, was outstanding, attentive and friendly. She handled dietary restrictions and special requests easily. She anticipated our needs. Service is 5+ star. I tried the special cocktail, Elderberry Gin Fizz ($8.50), which was excellent. My husband tried the blood orange IPA($5.50) which he said was good. I had the House Salad with fish ($14), which was fresh and filling (the fish was just ok). My husband had the tenderloin sandwich ($14), which I tried too. The sandwich as outstanding. I would go back just for the sandwich. The fries are also excellent - crispy and spicy. The restaurant was not crowded on a Sunday night, but I'm guessing there is a wait on Fri/Sat. Lebanon needed this restaurant. I'll be back soon. read more

I really enjoyed my experience at Klooz this past weekend. Friendly and quick service, a good seltzer, and an enjoyable meal. I had the tropical seltzer and think it would be a great summer beverage. I also got the chicken bacon ranch Mac and cheese. I got the ranch on the side and that was the best idea. I basically ate the chicken dipped in the ranch and then had a huge portion of Mac and cheese. I do agree with other reviews that the Mac and cheese could use a bit more flavor, but with all the toppings and the ranch, it works! I enjoyed it and would get it again. I also liked the bread that came with it. The ambiance was nice and I had no complaints! Can't wait to go back. The beer cheese looked delicious. read more

Took my mom when she came to town. Amanda was smiling and gave us recommendations while we waited for mom. Wish the cheese curds came with a house ranch, but they were delicious. Wife got the buffalo MAC and cheese, I got the tenderloin, mom the build your own burger. It was hot and delicious. So much my wife ate the rest for lunch the next day.
