My plate arrived with delicious honey oat toast and what were, without a doubt, the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The texture was perfect! I had forgotten to ask for them crispy, but there was no need--they were lightly crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. The eggs were also cooked perfectly. I really appreciate when the cheese is folded throughout the eggs instead of just being sprinkled on top as an afterthought. It's a small detail that makes a big difference. I'm going to be honest--the table next to me ordered the biscuits and gravy, and I could see the huge chunks of sausage from my seat! It looked so good that I had to order an additional side of biscuits and gravy to go, along with a sausage patty. I can't wait to dig into it later. I'll definitely be back. It was a bummer because this spot usually tastes very fresh. I've had it before and the avocado was fresh, along with the orchard salad which I loved. I would say the orchard salad is my fave. They make their dressings homemade and the dressing for the orchard salad was delicious. The service was still very friendly, and since they were slammed busy, I didn't feel like making a fuss about it. Everything else we had was enjoyable. The inside is small and quaint since it's a house turned restaurant, so it has a cozy but lively ambiance when crowded. One of the best perks here is definitely the made from scratch desserts. I love checking out the dessert case because the staff will happily explain each option and answer questions. There's something oddly satisfying about watching them slice the desserts too. The bright yellow and blue place was hopping with the Saturday lunch crowd. There are seven tables inside (all filled) and two covered blue picnic tables outside. Seating is tight, but fun. I had a Chicago Dog (Nathan's dogs). The dog was thick, juicy and authentic, except for the relish. The poppy seed bun was packed with pickles, peppers, tomato, onions and mustard.
