Great med rare Friday special steak. Left 50% for tomorrow. Sides were sauteed mushrooms and sweet potato. Everytbing cooked as ordered and service was on time and friendly.

this is the house salad that comes with many entrees and pastas. the dressing is made from scratch and is delicious

This wonderful restaurant continues to delight and surprise me. It has a great selection (but not too many choices) of entrees, pastas, wines and a full bar. My latest meal there was a pasta with feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes and shrimp. The crispy Brussels sprouts were great. Friendly staff makes everything so much better, too.

Had dinner with 6 friends at LA Cafe tonight up in Whitestown. Been a while since we were here. What a great place - plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I got the Parmesan Crusted Pork with 2 sides - twice baked potato and sautéed mushrooms. A generous, flavorful piece of pork - enough that I took some home for lunch tomorrow. Our waitress Kennedy did a great job. Well worth the drive - we'll return soon.

Fish sandwich and Mac-n-cheese. Fish was crispy, not soggy or greasy at all. Mac n cheese was delicious, good cheese pulls!!

This place is definitely a great place to go! The atmosphere is perfect, the staff is super friendly and the food is amazing!!! I highly recommend it! The price is absolutely right.

Followed up on recommendation for a local spot and it was a positive experience. Clean venue with open layout and a bar. There's an outdoor patio for warmer days. My boys were intrigued by the motorcycles and holiday decorations on display. Friendly service. The food came out hot, timely, correct, and delicious! I loved the Hawg wings in Teriyaki sauce and haven't had anything like it. It was tender juicy with a crisp exterior. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My husband and I plan on returning to try more offerings. Prices appear mid- to upper-range and portions were good.

Bread w/butter. No idea what the butter is, but it is Amazing!

Get Extra Bread!! It is delicious. I actually ordered a load to go and ate it at midnight. Win for me! The restaurant is clean and so are the restrooms! Huge deal if you have a toddler! Staff were incredibly nice and accommodating which is hard to find when you have younger kiddos. Now onto the thing we all care about..Food- Appetizer we ordered Potato Skins. They were good. Not the best I've had but not the worst. Ribs- My son loved his full rack of ribs, but he couldn't even start his sides because they were so delicious he ate all of them. Patty Melt- My husband really liked it! Fish & Chips- Delicious! Kids Meal- Chicken Finger with fries and a milk. Not bad. Dessert- Bread Pudding. I do not recommend this. We each ate one bite and it went in the trash. No thanks. -Crème Brulee. Delicious!!!!! My reasoning for the four stars is that I felt it was pretty pricey for what it is. I mean the only thing that I'm still craving is the bread. The kids meal was $9 and that did not include the milk. So $12 for a kids meal. Craziness if you ask me. Our total bill was almost $170.

8oz Parmesan Encrusted Pork Loin, not crusted. Notice the dollop of butter on top.

Some friends recommended a little cafe in old Whitestown to our dinner group. The cafe had a cute flare with all of the motorcycle memorabilia and metal walls. We were a rather large party of 10, but they did a great job keeping our drinks filled and clearing dishes from the table. We ordered a buy one and get one free shrimp cocktail, which was average. The odd thing was how it was served on a long rectangular plate instead of in the normal martini glass. The bread that was served was good and the sun-dried tomato butter was a nice surprise, but very salty. The winners of the night, food-wise, were the Ribeye steak, Mushroom soup, and calamari. The ribs left a lot to be desired with no bark and weak sauce, and the Parmesan-crusted pork was not crusted in Parmesan (it was shaved on top, and a glop of butter was added too). We might consider going back for a steak, but it was a long drive for most of us.

Great little eatery in the heart of downtown Whitestown. Staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly and well prepared. Everything we had was tasty and the patio area is great for warmer days. Apparently, this place has an affiliation with the L A Cycles garage around the corner.

Would have wished for a larger branch out in decor and style. Touches present in only select places. Food & Wait (Breakfast Quesadillas with side of cook potatoes) - presentation good, potatoes are slight mash but well cooked, a bit too salty but still palatable. Salsa is a low end mild, has cilantro so sad for me (soap gene) but over all not entirely flavorful, mostly spice and tomato. Avocado slices not overly ripe, good points. Quesadillas are the star of the dish, good balance of crunch in the tortillas with salt and savory in the bacon eggs and peppers. Cheese is not in your face as it's a lighter cheddar. Wait was negligible, a very quick dish to make for full kitchen. Pricing - $$ RATING - 4/5

We'd heard great things about Rosie's, so we were excited to finally give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience just didn't live up to the hype. Our food came out less than five minutes after ordering, which in a packed restaurant immediately made us wonder how fresh it really was. After tasting it, it was pretty clear much of it had been prepared well beforehand. I even asked for my potatoes to be crispy, and the response was simply, "We can't do that," which was surprising for such a popular breakfast spot. On top of that, almost everything lacked seasoning and fell pretty flat flavor wise. We barely touched our meals and didn't even want to take the leftovers home, which is rare for us. To be fair, this is just our personal experience, and it's obvious a lot of people genuinely enjoy Rosie's. We're not trying to be overly critical over one visit. But based on the meal and service we received, it's not a place we'd personally recommend.

I was the only Black customer in the shop at the time, and the pattern of being repeatedly passed over while others were helped first did not feel random. When I asked about my order, I was told they were "busy," but that didn't match what I was seeing--people were consistently being served ahead of me. Being ignored for that long while others moved through quickly made me feel unwelcome and singled out. Whether intentional or not, the way this was handled came across as discriminatory and needs to be addressed. I hope management takes this seriously, looks into what happened, and ensures that all customers are treated fairly and respectfully.
