Every time I work at Butler, I pass by this little place...today I decided to give it a try. Finding parking was the only thing I figured would be a little bit of a challenge. Friendly and welcoming but also very informative. I love that she gave me recommendations for items to try and I'll definitely have to come back and try the things I didn't today. Back to the food, it's a bit cool out so I had my heart set on a warm sandwich rather than a cold one. I got the Philly cheese with onions and provolone with a side of her Nan's potato salad. As I waited for my food I looked around and it's such a cute little place. It's an Eagle's (Philly) decor along with Indy's teams being represented as well. I love that I can have a Philly steak cheese sandwich and not have to go to PA. My sandwich was great. Fresh and delicious, the bread was definitely nothing from Indy and anyone who knows me knows I do love a good bread. The potato salad was absolutely delicious. Simple but very tasty. I love that it was Christina's Nan's recipe. Sure was a nice little lunch visit. I'm not much of a drinker but it's neat it's connected with Chilly Water. I did not participate but it looked fun. They both have cold and hot subs. I chose the cheesesteak sub (hot). You can choose the meat and cheese. I chose ribeye and American cheese. My order only took 5 minutes which was nice as I was very hungry. The place did not seem so busy but inside was a bit dirty (tables and especially the floor).
