Chicken Philly Combo is a go to, I eat this twice a week for a reason. Add some lemon pepper to the fries and you've got a perfect meal.

I really believe they cook everything in the same grease. I fine the food lackluster, and greasy.

So it's a legit Chicago tribute spot! Friendly staff as well, want to get back and have an Italian beef!

Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum! (This should be my whole review. lol)…read more Nothing fancy about this place. Just a small mom and pop dive that serves hot dogs, but the food is great. I ordered a charred jumbo Belushi (1/4lb beef Vienna hotdog, beef chili, shredded cheddar cheese - I held the onions) and a side of cheese fries. This is probably the best hot dog in town, and the chili on the fries was amazing. The chili by itself would be a good meal, but that's not an option on the menu. They might have the best fries in town as well; they're hand-cut. I enjoyed the cheese sauce on the fries too. For the future though, I will order a regular Belushi instead of a jumbo. It tastes amazing, but the jumbo just has a regular sized bun so the bun isn't big enough to hold the hot dog and all of the toppings. I was messy eating the jumbo Belushi because the bun couldn't hold everything. Having said that, the jumbo Belushi was darn good!! The staff was great too. They're kind, they brought the food out quickly, and they keep the restaurant clean. The person behind the counter recommended the Jordan (Vienna beef hotdog, beef bacon, grilled onions, sport peppers, mayo, mustard) and onion rings. It's hard to imagine a restaurant having something better on the menu than what I ate though.

Some places just have that "let's stay for one more drink" kind of energy…read more Tick Tock Lounge was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon stop, and before we knew it, we'd settled in for hours. We grabbed a table outside and watched the place slowly fill up. Even as it got busier, our waitress somehow never skipped a beat. She was juggling a full section, recommending menu favorites, and even mixed up a drink for me when I couldn't decide what I wanted. Those are the servers you remember. Let's talk about that Bloody Mary... I've seen Bloody Marys that came with a celery stalk. This one came with what felt like an entire appetizer sampler balanced on top. Bacon, cheese, olives, pepperoni...if you leave hungry after finishing one of these, that's on you. Bloody Mary Overachievement Meter: (possibly qualifies as brunch.) The burger completely lived up to the hype. Crispy edges, juicy center, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The hand-dipped chicken fingers were every bit as good, and the fries became dangerous the second they met the homemade ranch. (Yes...get the ranch.) Ranch Dunkability Meter: 9.8/10. I'd happily dip "just one more fry" about seventeen times. Inside, you'll find live music, TVs with whatever game is on, and a crowd that somehow makes you feel like you've been stopping in for years. It's casual, welcoming, and exactly what you hope a neighborhood tavern will be. Parking can be a little tricky depending on the time of day, but it's absolutely worth circling the block once if you have to.

It's got a western ish feel to it with plenty of TVs with games showing. I ordered the All American Steak burger with all toppings available and pepper jack cheese. It did not disappoint. For $11 for everything you see here???? That's an amazing deal. The pepper jack was also had some good kick to it which I especially liked. This is a repeat for sure. Edited to say the Bloody Mary comes with a whole stalk of celery, a skewer of olives/cheese/pepperoni, and tater tots. It's massive and truly like a meal all by itself.

I got my order to go but the gentleman who took my order was kind enough to offer me a cup for some water. The spot was happening. Music, good vibes, the decor was fun. I couldn't decide which meal I was trying so I'm definitely going to make another trip sometime soon. I got the tenders with mac but added a side of greens. Boy oh boy the greens were the star and wow my tastebuds were incredibly satisfied. I've had greens but these were like some ultimate flavors and holy greens i definitely could just order some of these every now and again by themselves. Mac was great. Definitely complimented the greens. The tenders though omg. The flavor was insane. I gotta try them with the waffles next time for sure. Overall the wait wasn't long and my food was still hot. I ended up sharing with my son and he was even raving about it. Great service, fun and lit atmosphere, last but not least food was fire. Side note: people complain about price but I'll be honest, when the food is good and staff are amazing, the price to me doesn't matter. You get what you pay for and let's be real, this isn't chic fil a, this is hot boys and the chicken is definitely that.

It honestly hurt to see all that chicken go directly into the garbage, but they claim it was inedible. Since it's not a saucy type of flavoring, but a dry rub, they said that the heat was painful, and not flavorful. Back to the sandwich I enjoyed... I felt that there was a sweetness to the flavor that I liked, which I could see not everyone enjoying. There is also a hot dusting over the french fries which exacerbates any discomfort people are having from the heat. There really wasn't anything to cool it down. The macaroni and cheese was piping hot, although not spicy.

Go to Indianapolis and Clancy's will set the record straight. Midwest got it going on! Nice portion, very friendly pricing, excellent flavor and texture. Service here is pretty straight forward, no fancy seating on long winded convos to be had with the cashiers. Just order up, take a seat and soon you'll be rewarded. Unfortunately I had a dinner commitment at Bodhi that evening so an order of chili cheese fries was all the spare space in my belly. I'll need to return to try one of their dogs. On this fateful day though, I experienced a great chili by way of Clancy's. I highly recommend.

My husband got the breakfast quesadilla with bacon at the owners suggestion. It comes with a spicy chipotle sauce. We each thought our dishes were great! It was only the owner working. It was our first time so I'm not sure if that is the norm. We were the start of a rush so know if there are people already here, it might be a bit of a wait.

I've long heard good things about Gomez BBQ and I noticed that they'd been showing up recently to…read moredowntown Indy's Statehouse Market. Today, I finally decided to dive in. The set-up at Statehouse Market has been pretty simple. They don't use a truck. They set-up under a canopy with their BBQ goods - Pork, Chicken, Brisket, and possibly one other option. They also have a "bowl" option available. The only beverage option I saw was a bottled water. The sandwiches come on a white bun. They include cilantro and pickled red onion, though they did ask if toppings were wanted. I was a little confused as I was charged $12 for the chicken sandwich - the menu indicated $10. I did get the correct sandwich. The sandwich itself was quite tasty - I don't usually order the toppings, however, I decided to order it how it's usually served and I did enjoy it. There were two employees working - one making the food (I'll assume Gomez?) and a young man taking orders (who seemed a bit distracted, however, he was friendly). Because the canopy was off the step, the food was handed to me. Napkins probably should have been included as this was a messy sandwich. However, I enjoyed the meal and would definitely order it again. I've not been to their shop, however, this visit could sure inspire me to stop by there as I do live fairly close to it. Overall, I'm not quite willing to go 5-stars. However, this was a solid 4-star experience for me and I would definitely order again when they return to Statehouse Market.
