My eye caught the portions people were eating at the common area. It looked quite delicious from afar. I got the crinkle fries and the chicken bacon ranch. Overall, the burger was good but I didn't enjoy the chips much. The service was slower than normal the day I went but it could be that a lot of people were there. I got a coupon for a milkshake though. Good for me. I loved the bright red lights of the sign too.

Nasty, small chicken tenders undercooked. Rude staff. I paid $33 for a cheeseburger, fries, chicken tenders and 3 drinks.

Great no-frills burger shop at the Garage. I ordered a burger, fries, and a drink. The cashier was very friendly and my order got cooked and served quick. The burger tasted amazing. They have "smash burger" style burgers. The fries were really good, too. It all really hit the spot. This is in the garage so it is a very busy atmosphere. But there are plenty of places to sit and different food options for everyone.

Prior to trying it yesterday I wasn't overly familiar with Clancy's. I don't eat beef or pork and I assumed they were just a regular burger joint. To my surprise they actually have Beyond/Impossible Smash Burgers. They are fantastic. You wouldn't know it wasn't beef if someone didn't tell you. The toppings were also very fresh and crisp. Not like some places where the lettuce is soggy and the tomatoes are full of seeds and not firm. Their fries are also the kind where you don't need to add ketchup. If you are going to the Clancy's in Bottleworks, the line may be long but don't be intimidated, it moves really quickly. Good food, food value, great location!

My husband and cousin had Clancys tonight after a party at SoChatti. They both loved their hambugers and frys. They both got doubles my husband got bacon on his. The burgers were juicy and full flavor. The garage has so many options, I went for the lobster roll two doors down. Service at Clancys was friendly and it didn't take long to get the burgers. Great tasting burgers you get at the best greasy spoon type places. Don't forget to get cheese sauce for the frys.

Located in the new Garage Food Hall in downtown Indy, this hamburger stand is a wonderful option for those needing a bite. The man working the counter was so friendly and helpful! He seemed very focused on the customers and when I was walking around, he definitely seemed to be the most ready to hop into action! Thank you! I ordered the: + Garden salad: It was delicious! You get to choose your dressing and it had fresh onions, tomatoes and croutons on top. + Cheeseburger: You can choose to make it a double, but I stuck with single. It was pretty good and I'd definitely have it again. I didn't get fries this time, but I can't wait to try them! So glad to have you in Indy, Clancey's!

While people won't shut up about Shake Shack, I know I'm always going to be loyal to Clancy's lol I like going to the Garage food hall with friends but I end up getting burgers at Clancy's most of the time! I do realize that they offer other things like chili and hot dogs but I always get cheese burger with Clancy's sauce. That sauce is magical. I was introduced to this place through a Yelp event and now I have been here many times ever since. Please please open more locations throughout Indy.

Located inside the Garage Food Hall at Bottleworks, Clancy's brought back the nostalgia for me. First started in 1965, the year I was born, I grew up enjoying Clancy's due to my family's mad love for the place. If I remember right, it was a Plainfield location - or it might have simply been on Rockville Road. I can still remember the building and the burgers. I was honestly a little stunned when I heard that Clancy's would have a location inside Bottleworks. It appears to be their 2nd location at this point - here's hoping this means a resurgence is coming. The very first Clancy's was in Noblesville. It was always a place that made you feel like they weren't cutting corners. Clancy's technically was fast food, but it was a different sort of place. Being that the character Clancy was based upon a cartoon character, it always carried with it a sort of nostalgia. Can you tell I'm reminiscing? What about now? The Garage Food Hall is a pretty nifty place. Each restaurant in the Hall has their own location with a few tables, though given current pandemic guidelines you may need to look around a bit - I did. They have a mix of taller tables and shorter tables. Since I'm in a wheelchair, I obviously needed a shorter table and ended up having to go to the other side of the Hall to find one. The Clancy's menu includes their famous burgers along with a Beyond Plant-Based Burger, a Clancy's Topper (don't think Big Mac - way better!), flat-top franks, some chicken selections, multiple variations of fries, some sides, shakes, and a variety of beverages. You can get your sandwiches as a meal and you can do things like double up the burger ($3 extra) or get a large drink instead of a medium. I ordered a double-burger with fries and a large unsweetened iced tea. My meal came in at just over $12. The burger was fresh. It's made from angus beef and on a brioche rolla. It was delicious and substantial. The french fries were nicely seasoned - perhaps a little bit on the light side in terms of a side, but not bad and definitely tasty. My iced tea was also terrific. Masks were required and all employees were masked (you obviously took masks off to eat). Bottleworks has an active cleaning crew. I left the table once to go get ice cream and when I came back a couple minutes later my table was already clean. The young woman working the counter today, whose name I didn't get, was an absolute delight - super friendly and helpful. Oh, and they also do have a rewards program that you can sign up for with your first order. It's pretty quick and painless. Parking in their lot is paid. I actually parked at one of the Mass Avenue meters and wheeled around. Everything is pretty wheelchair friendly. The doorway is a double-sided glass door and all of the sidewalks are new and have appropriate curb cuts. The parking lot has accessible parking. I did struggle a bit with carrying my food (no trays), but that's likely a safety precaution in a pandemic world. I could deal with it and did. Overall, this is probably somewhere between a 4-5 star but I'm trending upward because of the terrific service, warm nostalgia, safety precautions, and I just plain enjoyed my meal in a pleasant environment. Tables were nicely distanced and everything felt safe and respectful. There's simply no doubt I'll be back. While I do want to try some of the other Hall options, I'm already looking forward to a return trip to Clancy's. Super Nostalgia Bonus - The owner responded to my review and it's cool to see that Clancy's is still in the Fogelsong family!

We came back to the Garage Food Hall again. This time I tried Clancy's, which is  hamburger and fries kind of place and located real near the J Lobster. Look for the very bright neon sign. They do offer various hot dog options, chicken, and even pork tenderloin. I decided I would try the cheeseburger and cheese fries. The cheeseburger came on a toasted bun and reminded me of what is usually called a steakburger. The fries came separately but filled the basket (enough for two people). They were lightly seasoned and served drizzled in cheese. They were tasty and I ended up eating almost all the fries myself. After I ordered I noticed that around the corner right beside them is the pizza place. So next time a specialty pizza it will be. Afterwards, I had to stop at Lick and get the milk chocolate ice cream. A perfect way to end a meal. With help from another patron I finally know how to get free parking and avoid the $5 fee for parking in their lot. Just get a receipt from any vendor and there is a bar code at the bottom of the receipt that will give you free parking.

Clancy's... pork tenderloin? Yes indeed! Had to get one while in Indy. Ordered a breaded one with everything on it and was not disappointed! The sandwich was perfect and juicy enjoyed every bite! Can't wait to try a burger here :)

My cheeseburger with grilled onions #yum #ReviewsByRL

Clancy's sits back in the NW corner of the food hall, almost on the end. First off, I love french fries. These were nice thick crinkle cut fries with a really nice slat/peppers/garlic seasoning on them.  I got a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato & grilled onions. The hubs got a burger (no cheese) with lettuce & tomato. He promptly threw out his tomato because it was clearly unripe, but mine was good. I enjoyed my burger very much; good melted cheese, good grilled onions, and a super soft brioche bun. So for me, it was filling & a great meal.  For my hubs, we was annoyed about the tomato so then felt his burger was a little plain and thin (these are flatter patties), but he did like the fries as well.   Service was friendly & pretty fast for a crowded Friday night. The only downside was they didn't have trays like I've had with some other vendors in the food hall -- so navigating the people while carrying the food basket, drinks, ketchup etc and trying to find a place to sit was a little challenging.  So perhaps getting it "to go" would make things easier when it's busy, even if you're gonna hang out in the garage.   #yum #ReviewsByRL

First off, Clancy's couldn't be better. I ordered the Beyond™ burger, as I'm not much of a mammal eater. The burger was prepared quickly and perfectly with a good choice of toppings. The employees were chatty in a great way and the entire stand had a clean, inviting feel. The show-stealer was the Bottleworks district itself. My goodness! I haven't been out to it since the revitalization opened everything up. The Art Deco style, the brick streets, the festive yet tasteful lighting everywhere. I fell madly in love. I can't wait to go back and try more of the great food in the area and also the other awesome looking businesses.

I am a Clancy's go-to kind of girl. I love The Garage and the variety of foods from different cultures, but Clancy's really holds its own. I get a hamburger and fries, and I am a big fan of the Clancy Sauce. I went today, and my burger was a bit smaller than normal (it felt like the bun was much bigger than the meat), but honestly it still tasted really good so I would recommend still! As a side note, the garage is such a fun place to go with with friends. There's no pressure of full table service. We can just come in, get whatever food we want, and talk for however long we want.

The andouille sausage and shrimp were cooked beautifully, and the cream sauce had incredible flavor with just the right subtle hint of spice. Absolutely perfect comfort food with an elevated twist. We sat outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful weather during Indy 500 race week, and the atmosphere could not have been better. Every table around us was full of people laughing, enjoying lunch, and soaking in the energy of the city. It was one of those perfect Indianapolis afternoons. For our mains, we both ordered the Cobb salad -- one with grilled chicken and one with fried chicken -- and both were outstanding. I still can't believe how large the "small" salads are! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the homemade ranch dressing was absolutely delicious. The service, as always, was top-notch. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From start to finish, it was such a fantastic lunch and overall experience. We loved every minute of it and cannot wait to come back!

There's a bit of grunge aesthetic too. I opted for the patio seating on the nice day that I visited. Service worked pretty quickly and friendly. I got a mocktail to start that was cranberry, orange, and pineapple juice. It was pretty yummy. I was far more impressed by the foooood! My partner and I split a burger and Mac and cheese. The size small was $9 and was honestly huge. It was definitely enough food for two. The burger we got was also a good size, and came with a lot of shoestring onion on top. The burger was $18 but it's a 10 oz patty which is practically a better deal than most other burgers out there. I'll be back again sometime for sure!

Zero proof drinks. There were some reviews about long wait times, non-toasted buns and the cost but the write up of the place itself gave me nostalgia vibes for a place called Cobra Burger in Richmond, VA so I had to try my luck. I really wanted to love this place, as I've not found anything like Cobra Burger here in Indy. When we arrived, around 6:45p on a Thursday, the patio had a good amount of people, but inside was pretty empty apart from the bar. We sat at a two top in the bar area. The music was at a pretty low volume, especially considering the amount of reviews that said otherwise. Our server was also bartender, so it initially took her a couple of minutes to come over, which is understandable. She took our order for drinks and then after bringing them back for the food. She was nice and provided good service although juggling tables and the bar, plus she was also pregnant. It took a very long time for us to get our food (close to an hour), despite three guys working the line in the kitchen, banging out burger after burger. The food arrived, hot and correct. Both my husband and I were disappointed that the reviews were right and the burger buns were not toasted. Non-toasted burger buns actually make the burgers harder to eat and less enjoyable. My burger was decent for a non-handmade vegan option; for the price my expectation is amor sophisticated/handmade creative one, but I am thankful that they had a vegan option at all. My husband thought his burger was just okay and that he's had better ones around Indy, so we probably won't be dining here again. For the size of the burger, they should bring you ample napkins without having to ask because it is very messy trying to eat them. For two burgers with fries, one small mac & cheese, and three beers (one regular and two nonalcoholic) before tip the bill was over $80. Now, if the food was top-tier fantastic, I would say fine but being that it was more middle of the road it's a bit pricey.

To my surprise, we walked in and someone who I'm assuming is the manager looks our way and says to the hostess that they're only doing takeout. He clearly made that decision as we walked in. The dining room was empty except one couple who hadn't received their food yet. I could understand if it were 30 mins before, but an hour means you should just close at 9 pm everyday. A couple walked in minutes after us and were also given this information, but decided to leave instead of order. I did, however, order for my son since I opted out and he was looking forward to eating here. This was not how I expected to celebrate my son's birthday but was forced to even though they had roughly eight people "working" and were unable to accommodate three. This really left a feeling of disdain that I can't shake. I have no desire to patronize this establishment in the future as I was not welcomed during business hours this time. Hopefully this is a learning experience and they'll choose to service customers within reason.
