Bru burger with fries and double patty
Thanh V.

It's a nice spot on mass ave with a decent amount of tables and seating. It can get tight depending on how busy but they do a great job with accommodating parties of all sizes. We were seated right away and had excellent service. Our server was very friendly and attentive, especially when one item was not the correct order. We ordered the Mexicali and Bru Burger with onions and fries. It was all so delicious! We were very happy with what we ordered and the level of service we received. Thank you!!

Love love love the three garlic aioli burger it's so dang delicious! All the burgers come in patty style or smash style or you can make it healthier with a chicken substitute The French fries is great too. We have not had a bad experience, all the server are professional and nice Love that the location is on mass ave for shopping time, the actual location is not very big they do have a patio that open when the weather allows it I think they do accept reservations so I suggest doing that if you want a guaranteed seat

The garlic three cheese burger is one of my favorites! It comes with actual cloves of garlic (a little too much for me) and then three different cheeses. Truffle aioli comes on it as well. Yum. And, I love the bar area at this location!

I meant to take more pictures of our food but we were very hungry! As you can tell by the pictures, everything was delicious! This place is conveniently located close to a lot on Mass Ave if you are going to a show at the Basile Theater or the Murat! Our server was very friendly and came by frequently! BRU Birger has been a staple on Mass Ave for quite a few years now. Food is always consistently good and service has always been great.

Pumpkin Cheesecake

We've been frequenting Cunningham establishments for many years and we especially love the loyalty rewards! Today we celebrated my husband's birthday and received a complimentary dessert. He selected the seasonal delight which is their Pumpkin Cheesecake. We split a burger and really you can't go wrong there. They live up to their name as a burger specialty place and the food and service is consistently great. The food arrived at lightning speed even though its was peak lunchtime. Our server was attentive and friendly while still maintaining authenticity and didn't make us feel rushed or neglected. Will come back for my favorite go to at Bru--the Valencia salad. Also enjoyed a Texas Mule which wasn't too sweet and had just the right amount of punch to it. Thanks Again

Service was good, and the food was also pretty good. They let you switch out the burger for an impossible burger at no extra charge. The menu says that, but the receipt still had extra charge. So that's a bit weird. The bread bun is a bit stale. The fries are delicious and well seasoned. Would go back.

I decided to stop by to eat before the Steve Martin and Martin Short show. I was by myself. They fit me in, after a short wait. After eating and paying for my meal I still had plenty of time to get to the venue and to my seat. I sat outside on the patio, which had heaters, but luckily it wasn't that cold out. It was very nice. I got the Burger Snack with Fries and a Pepsi Zero. Delicious and just the right amount. The staff were very friendly.

Menu from website showing fajita burger does in fact come with White Queso.

First time at this particular location. Food was great. Service not so much. I ordered the fajita burger which states on menu comes with white queso. Burger arrived without the queso. When the waitress came back around to check in I said no queso on burger and she proceeded to argue with me about whether or not it came with queso. She did bring me a side of queso (unsure if there was an additional charge for this as I didn't see the check). Very off putting to have a waitress be so rude and argumentative when she was very clearly in the wrong.

Bru Burger is consistently a solid choice. They now have multiple locations. Cunningham restaurants almost always deliver, and this is no exception. I've been here several times and always enjoy the experience. The Sriracha Caesar salad is one of my top recommendations. It's unique, flavorful, and worth trying. I do miss the mango chutney they used to serve on the veggie burger, but overall the menu still holds plenty of great options. Service is usually attentive, and drinks come out quickly, which makes for an easy dining experience. The downtown Indianapolis location also has an amazing patio that's perfect for enjoying a meal. Another great product from Cunningham Restaurant Group!

Made an 11:00 AM reservation for 12 people. Our table was ready even before we arrived, despite them opening right at 11:00. The food is always consistently good, and our server was very nice. No fixed service charge for large parties -- such a pleasant surprise!

Nashville chicken tenders

We had a nice happy hour late lunch/early dinner at Bru on a Monday afternoon around 3:30pm. The restaurant was busy, but we waited less than 15 minutes for a table outside. The patio is shaded, but open. The surrounding trees make for a relaxing outdoor dining experience. Our server was polite and friendly. We ordered a couple draft beers for $3 off at happy hour and the 1/2 price Nashville hot chicken tenders along with a Mexicali burger to share. The chicken tenders came out with a house made ranch that was fantastic. The chicken itself was perfectly breaded and fried, but not nearly as spicy as they looked. The burger was loaded with toppings and cooked as requested. I think it's definitely a steal of a deal place for happy hour!

BRU burger

Ordered takeout and the burger was fantastic along with the fries. Immaculate flavoring on a very juicy BRU Burger and would definitely get it again. The sauce on it was nice as well and their homemade ketchup went well with the fries.

My boyfriend and I were in town for a concert and wanted to try something new. Not only was my burger the best one I've had in a long time, but the service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly! Love the inside as well. Nice ambiance. Definitely would recommend

Turkey pastrami which I had never had before. It tastes really fresh and felt healthy. The salad comes in a little small bowl but full of goodness. I was torn on what to choose, but ended up with the shrimp étouffée and so glad I did! The sauce was divine and the apple chutney added a surprisingly wonderful addition. Dessert? Of course! Banana pudding for the hubs and I had the apple cider whoopie pie. This thing was giant! I tasted the banana pudding and it was good. It's a very small kitchen where all the action happens, which is very impressive for a restaurant their size. Very knowledgeable staff and servers described all the ingredients and notes of flavor to look for in the dishes very well. Most ingredients were locally sourced and staff highlighted the importance of souring fresh local ingredients with every dish. Everyone form the hostess to the bartender and bus boy were friendly and welcoming. definitely 5* for service. The menu is a mix of several cuisines from Korean to Italian and even some French with a twist. The menu has great vegetarian options. Unfortunately the chef's tasting menu wasn't available as my reservation was made same day, but I decided to go with the two specials of the day. Dinner kicked off with a shot of Champaign on the house They like welcoming their guests that way. Water kept being refilled immediately. The staff again was very attentive. As an appetizer I went with the Scallops crudo with house made berry vinegar. The crudo was a healthy serving of scallops. Crispy raw carrots and radish provide some texture, while greens including endive provided some bitterness. This dish was a bit heavy on pepper and bitterness from the endives and could use some acidity to balance it out. Scallops were not as sweet as I was expecting. A bit more of the homemade raspberry vinagrette would have been perfect. The dark blue ring caused by the marination process would have shown more on a different color serving plate instead of a black bowl. For the main course I ordered the Beet linguini with sea bass. Interesting take on linguini Pickled rhubarb, rainbow radishes, fresh dill and a 'beet marinara' sauce reminded me of borscht. Unfortunately the linguini was overcooked and soaked up a lot of the butter and sauce. The pickled rhubarb provided a break from the heaviness of the dish but overall the dish lacked brightness. Sea bass was perfectly cooked. Seared and crusted with salt and pepper on one side, simple. Well executed but nothing special. For dessert I went with the Strawberry dacquoise which was delicious. The white chocolate bark with pink peppercorn stole the show. It should be layered inside the dessert! I wanted more of it. This dessert was not overly sweet. it was a great mix of pistachios and strawberry and fluffy cake. Gelee was a bit too dense but otherwise fantastic end to a good meal.

We got "Disco Boys" and "I'm too pretty for this" cocktails which were tasty - kudos for the fun cocktail names. Calamari, Artisan, and Charcuterie came shortly after. There's a few different options of cheeses and meats, it's sort of a choose your own adventure situation. All were good, especially the calamari. A lot of restaurants tend to overcook it and the calamari gets rubbery, not the case here. Our entrees came out next and I made sure to try a bite of everyone's LOL.
