My friend and I were in Indy for a concert & stopped in for a cocktail before going to the concert. We enjoyed our drinks & they were made strong. We sat outside and liked the ambiance inside and out. Our service was good considering it was a busy Saturday evening.

Great tavern right in the middle of Mass ave. We popped in while exploring the city as a storm blew in and it was our favorite stop of the weekend! Our drinks were great and the bartender was lovely. We ordered the brisket hummus and turkey club and both were delicious. Would absolutely go back again.

I went to Tavern at the Point on a warm evening to have appetizers and drinks. The location of the patio was perfect for people watching on Mass Ave, and right behind Dancing Anne. The menu was a nice size with average American food. The drinks were good and very reasonably priced. We had nachos and cheese curds to eat and Moscow Mules to drink. The portions of the food were pretty large for two people to split and we were able to take some home. Overall it was a good place for a quick sit down with great people watching and a good ambiance. The server we had was polite and knowledgable.

Came back after having a very meh experience many years ago with an open mind. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese on the side. FYI - the Mac and cheese is tasty and spicy! The chicken sandwich was very, very good. I felt like it held together; the flavors were good, and the right amount of spice overall. Decently priced for the amount of food you get too! Would recommend!

Good food with a great patio! Yummy selection of cocktails and a solid menu with plenty of options.

Never in my life have I ever ordered a Reuben anywhere. It's just not what I typically go towards. However - the waitress said it's incredibly popular and really good so I went for it and I was not disappointed. The flavor was incredible, it was hot and fresh, and the broccolini on the side was perfectly cooked. My husband got the BLTA which was a massive sandwich and he enjoyed the entire thing. The fries were good and better than most pub fries I would say! Unfortunately I didn't snap a picture of my friend's food - but it was the reason for 4 stars. She got the fish tacos and the menu didn't say they were fried - but they were - and they were so fried that they were hard to bite into. They were simply a couple tortillas with slaw and a piece of fried fish. It was a bit of a let down and she didn't eat it. She ate her side, and half my sandwich! That menu item could use some help, but everything else was great.

Came out to Tavern at the Point for a Saturday light lunch. The restaurant was short staffed for everything going on in Indy but staff was hustling to make everyone feel accommodated and taken care of. We sat at the bar and waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to greet us. Brittany was working behind the bar and was fabulous at handling the stress of the crowd! She was making small talk when she could, had great menu recommendations, and kept making us smile. We decided to start with the Pamplemousse Spritz & Blood Orange Sparkler. The spritz was made with gin and had a good fruity flavor; perfect summer drink! I got the Sparkler which was a bit more spirit forward but equally fruity. For our main, we decided the share the BLTA with fries but also share the Pimento Mac and Cheese. The BLTA was really good and a large portion of a sandwich; the fries could have been a bit more crispy for my liking. We had high hopes for the pimento mac and cheese that sadly weren't met. The cheese was missing the classic pimento bite to it. It ended up taking on more of the jalapeño flavor. Either way, it was a nice, casual lunch spot!

We arrived a little early down on Mass Avenue for an event so we decided to stop in here for a cocktail first as it was a hot summer day and it was nearby. We were greeted promptly and seated by a friendly hostess. The view of city foot traffic outside the windows was so appealing. Had it been a cooler day they also have a great location for their covered outdoor patio. I noticed they were offering a Devour Indy menu which looked tasty for lunch another day. I had a cucumber margarita which was delicious for a hot summer day. My husband had his usual old fashioned that he said was good also. Nice meeting place for meals and/or cocktails.

Always great food and service! Love coming here for their outdoor patio. Pictures include Mediterranean wrap with broccolini and cauliflower wings. Came in on Sunday and they had $5 mimosas or bloody Mary's!

I ordered a Hot Chicken Sandwich with a side of Pimento Mac 'N Cheese. The chicken sandwich was great. It was filling but does not leave you feeling like you overate. The Mac n cheese was warm and spicy but a little too runny for my liking. The fries are already great. I would recommend both of these items. Great customer service!

I visited this place on a Friday for lunch with a few coworkers. I had never heard of this place before and so I came in with zero expectations. The location is great on Mass Ave and they have a nice patio area, although it was too hot to sit outside so we were seated inside with no wait. The menu has all of the food items that you might expect to find from a tavern or bar. Burgers, wings, nachos, sandwiches, etc. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and went with the "spicy" option. There were a variety of sides to choose from and I was about to say "fries" when the server suggested the pimento mac 'n cheese. She said that it was her favorite and it had a little spice to it. I decided that it would be a great choice to go with my spicy chicken sandwich. There were four of us at the table and the tavern wasn't very busy, but the food took a little longer than I would expect to reach us. It was a really good meal overall, so worth the wait. The breading on the chicken was crispy and the chicken was tender. The spicy sauce is something that's added like a condiment on top of the chicken, which at first I thought was strange, but I think that ended up helping with keeping the breading from getting soggy. Oh, how was the recommended mac 'n cheese, you ask? Well, I'll tell you. It was fantastic. Creamy, just on the threshold of being too thin, but great flavor. And the spice level was less than my chicken sandwich, which I felt was appropriate. The price is something that I'm on the fence about. The average sandwich price is $15 which is how much my sandwich cost. Because the side options were so good, it probably makes sense that the listed sandwich price is a bit higher than average, but at first glance of the menu, it felt a little too highly priced. I definitely recommend eating here if you're looking for good bar food.

    Brisket Tacos
    Karen O.

This place is on the point of Mass Ave and appropriately named. It's small inside but cutely decorated. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and offered good recommendations. We thought every appetizer sounded delicious and we settled for the Buffalo fried cauliflower. It was delicious and came with good sauces. I thought the rest of the menu was small and limited. We ordered a chopped salad, fried chicken sandwich, Pastrami Reuben and the Brisket Tacos. Everything was good but the favorite dish was the brisket tacos. Would definitely have that dish again!

I got the chicken katsu sandwich on Japanese milk bread and o my gosh it was so flavorful and I like anything else you can find around. The breading is light and not overly crunchy. Very knowledgeable staff and servers described all the ingredients and notes of flavor to look for in the dishes very well. Everyone form the hostess to the bartender and bus boy were friendly and welcoming. definitely 5* for service. The menu is a mix of several cuisines from Korean to Italian and even some French with a twist. The menu has great vegetarian options. Unfortunately the chef's tasting menu wasn't available as my reservation was made same day, but I decided to go with the two specials of the day. Dinner kicked off with a shot of Champaign on the house They like welcoming their guests that way. Water kept being refilled immediately. The staff again was very attentive. As an appetizer I went with the Scallops crudo with house made berry vinegar. The crudo was a healthy serving of scallops. Crispy raw carrots and radish provide some texture, while greens including endive provided some bitterness. This dish was a bit heavy on pepper and bitterness from the endives and could use some acidity to balance it out. Scallops were not as sweet as I was expecting. A bit more of the homemade raspberry vinagrette would have been perfect. The dark blue ring caused by the marination process would have shown more on a different color serving plate instead of a black bowl. For the main course I ordered the Beet linguini with sea bass. Interesting take on linguini Pickled rhubarb, rainbow radishes, fresh dill and a 'beet marinara' sauce reminded me of borscht. Unfortunately the linguini was overcooked and soaked up a lot of the butter and sauce. The pickled rhubarb provided a break from the heaviness of the dish but overall the dish lacked brightness. Sea bass was perfectly cooked. Seared and crusted with salt and pepper on one side, simple. Well executed but nothing special. For dessert I went with the Strawberry dacquoise which was delicious. The white chocolate bark with pink peppercorn stole the show. It should be layered inside the dessert! I wanted more of it. This dessert was not overly sweet. it was a great mix of pistachios and strawberry and fluffy cake. Gelee was a bit too dense but otherwise fantastic end to a good meal.
