I like the setup here but unfortunately the food is disappointing. I would say if you are going to just socialize and drink this would be a good location. read more

This is such a fun place to go with friends or the whole family. There are multiple restaurants so everyone will find something to love. Or you can get a little of something from each of the various restaurants all in one order- it's the best way to try them all out! Scope out the menus beforehand to plan your attack And make sure to grab a beverage while you're dining- Sunking makes phenomenal drinks too, they're not just beer! read more

Fishers Test Kitchen - a table full of food - Food Court Near Me - Fishers, Indiana

My husband and I were passing by and wanted to grab a quick bite. We decided to stop here since we would have options. We chose burgers from One Trick Pony and poutine fries from Korave Korean Barbecue right next to it. The fries were large enough to share. They came on a huge tray! The burgers were good, but nothing made them stand out from a regular burger. I would recommend asking for extra dandy sauce to help with the flavor! read more

I've been to Fishers Test Kitchen a couple times now and have enjoyed my experience here. The Sun King drinks are wonderful, as usual but the food selection is different from the Sun King in Carmel. My husband and I really enjoy One Trick Pony but the menus at the other 2 restaurants did not seem super appealing. Service was fast and friendly from the bar. The patio is perfect for people watching. There are a handful of great restaurants in the area but I recommend at least coming to the test kitchen for a drink! read more

I loveee this concept!! This is where I have tried Gorditos and it's delicious Mexican food. This spot definitely has sparked my interest in having the opportunity to try different and new foods that I may have never tried before. read more

Love this concept. It's like someone took the framework of a shopping mall food court and substituted the many strands serving bourbon chicken with ACTUALLY INTERESTING varied cuisine! I like how the table service is through sun king and they offer beer, cocktails, and slushes... And my favorite... Flights including all three! To get your food, walk up to the vendor both of your choice and you pay casual quick style.... When your pager buzzes the real fun begins... You may be having korave, one trick pony, lil dumplings or the signature table... Each day of the week... Or B.I.E.N. Mexicana or Serendipity which rotate based on days. I chose Serendipity for pizza, and it was so good. There was only one size so the price seemed about right, but I had a bit of leftovers! Love that I went with friends and we can each get what we wanted from different vendors. There's outdoor seating. Can't wait to go back and try something else! read more

Fishers Test Kitchen x Sing King Fishers is the place to be! With a huge outdoor sitting space that is pet-friendly, it is the perfect place to chill with friends or family. Korave Korean BBQ has very flavorful food. I would highly recommend getting the K-Philly poutine, as their Korean bulgogi is DELISH! read more

You have to put up with an always rude bar staff at SunKing and then my meal had a metal twisty tie in the taco. Manager was nice and asked what he could do, but honestly there's nothing one can do. Thankfully an adult got the disgusting metal twisty tie and not someone else. read more

did not have kombucha when we asked for it and the server took a while to come when it's not very busy. and food took very long to come with no other orders. tables were dirty and did not have many shaded options. i did not like the sun in my 2 year old son eyes. read more

Great atmosphere here with counter service food at 4 different pop ups and a ton of seating options both indoor and outside. The dining experience is fun and casual with everything from burgers to loaded philippine fries! The best part is you get great food and you can pair it with SunKing beer! read more

I ate at Gorditas. I had the brisket torta, chips and salsa and guacamole. I've not been impressed with the test kitchen in the past and wasn't thinking much of my order other than I just got done with a 70 mile bike ride. The brisket Torta was the best thing I've eaten in some time. I'm interested in the pork and chicken next. The guac was just ok. I like mine with cilantro and jalapeños. The salsa they made was remarkable. It was fresh and light but delish. I'll get the salsa again and pass on guac. 5 stars mainly for the brisket torta. Also, service was very very good with a larger group we brought. Good work test kitchen. read more

We at at Gorditos tacos tonight. It was a wonderful experience. We had the pork and the brisket tacos. The meat was tender and flavorful. The salsas were delicious. It was truly a gourmet experience not to be missed. If you do not go for dinner, order the chips and salsa for a snack. The chips are fried and really crispy and , again, the home made salsas make everything sing! read more

This review is about the food and service. I have been here twice and both times the food has been horrible. I've eaten the burger and fries which were the worst I've ever had. My daughter had the vegan burger and it was also disgusting. The second time I tried the chicken tenders and tots. The chicken was undercooked and the tots were so salty I couldn't eat them. Lastly the service was rude and extremely unfriendly. The beer was fine. Ambiance was loud and cold. read more

Great environment and great options. I love the concept of being able to go to one place and have multiple food options. The prices weren't bad, I ended up ordering from the Korave restaurant and it was delicious. The drinks are served through Sun King and the list of beers and mixed drinks is pretty great! I thought it was a little highly priced for the portion size and type of food it was, but the experience was a fun chill experience and therefore I would totally go back. Check it out, it's fun! read more

Fishers Test Kitchen - New Dawn (mixed Drink) - Food Court Near Me - Fishers, Indiana

Nice spacious relaxed brewery with rotating restaurants. I had some of the best tacos I've ever had outside of Mexico here!

I REALLY enjoy the set up of the test kitchen. It's nice, that when dining with your family or a large group that everyone can order what they REALLY want. I love being able to try new foods, while also always being impressed with the freshness of the food and atmosphere of the building. Excited to come back in the spring and dine outside and let my kiddos run around in the near lawn. read more

Very cool concept but unfortunately the food didn't live up to my expectation and the price. The bulgogi beef rice bowl from Korave was pretty good and pretty fresh but it could definitely use more toppings for the price they are charging. Lil Dumpling okonoyami smash burger is both weird and bad. It's literally just pancake layered with dry meat patty and covered with mayonnaise. read more

I had delicious take out: shrimp and grits and Brussel sprouts. Both were great! I'm was ready when they said. Hope to go back and eat at the restaurant. read more

Yum! Everything I tasted was so good! I highly recommend trying out at least two items from the test kitchen. I loved the chicken steam buns from lil dumplings, and the bulogi poutine from Korave is ahhhmaaazing! Their fat stack cookies are also heavenly and you shouldn't leave without one. It's awesome being able to hang out in Sunking too while you eat, and grab a cocktail or beer. Definitely can't wait to come back and try something else! read more

Been looking forward to this place since I heard about it opening! Cool set up, they called it a food hall. There are 4 places to get food (maybe 5) I got spicy steamed bun and chicaronnes from Lil Dumplings! Very good but the bun could have used some more season, just in my opinion. Also ordered the holy moly tacos from Korave. They were huge and flavorful! I had the chicken. It was super neat that they had little buzzers and picnic tables where you could sit and get a beer from SunKing. Definitely a sweet spot! read more

We needed somewhere to kill some time and ended up here. Next time we will make it a point to be back! They've got an awesome drink selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. I had been wanting to go to the test kitchen for awhile now. I kept hearing about it, reading about it and therefore I was excited about it. I have tried similar concepts in Pittsburg and Minneapolis, having one in Indy is a good thing! I had just finished reading an article in the indy Star about lil dumpling, so when I found myself looking for a meal in the fishers area, I knew where to go. Let me say here, my review of the test kitchen is not going to be based off of the food I ate. I will leave that for the individual places, as it seems that they will fluctuate as the years go by. I enjoy these type of concepts, because it can satisfy multiple people's palates in your dining group. It works for my husband and I because we grew up with different cultures and although we share a lot of the same tastes, sometimes we just want totally different things. When a place offers more than one menu, it's a good thing. The space is nice and new, it's super kid friendly (coloring and board games). We saw a wide range of diners there... young, old and the in-between. I'm really excited for the development of this area of Fishers. It really makes me want to move to that area (if only it wasn't so far from everywhere else we need to be!). We were there at 5pm on Saturday and it was hopping! It's a seat yourself kind of place, but we did have someone from Sun King help us locate/hold a table (really nice, when you're carrying a car seat and have a toddler in tow). We tried 2 out of the 3 pop ups, and unfortunately we did not enjoy the food from either. I don't know if we will be back to try the other one, maybe In 2 years when they get new places in? Regardless, these types of places are a lot of fun and definitely worth a try. There is a lot that this space offers that I didn't mention, so check it out! read more

Upscale Food Court!!!! The test kitchen is a hip and chic area for dining in the new Fishers District. We experienced a friendly staff member who took our drink orders, then it was decision time. To spread our taste buds, we split up and decided on a Patty Melt from Natural State and a HotDog from LilDumplin. The patty melt was oozing with sauce on buttery toast and the tots were incredible saturated with flavor and crunch. Loved the atmosphere. read more

Gorditas tacos in the test kitchen were so delicious! I loved the brisket and pork tacos and the consume was a great addition. Not a huge fan of slaw but the one here was delicious, had a nice sweetness to it! The elote was also delicious! Would definitely return! read more

I was so excited to hear about this concept and have been wanting to go for the longest time! There are three different food vendors that occupy this space and they sign their lease for a certain period of time. The current food vendors include Lil Dumplings, Korave, and Natural State. I love this idea that new up & coming chefs can start up in a space like this before moving on to a more permanent location of their own! I am also obsessed with the concept of a food hall right now because it allows me to try so many new food places all in one spot! I somehow missed that it was attached to Sun King so that was a pleasant surprise. We went on a Friday night around 8pm and the place was packed! We didn't have too much trouble finding a seat but it did take some searching. It also looked like they had some additional seating upstairs as well. My friends and I kept saying we wish this concept was also at the Carmel Sun King as well! read more

I am a Fishers resident and just tried out the test kitchen. Atmosphere is loud. Tables are first come first serve so Sat night it was packed. Three different kitchens to choose from and Sun King beverages to select. Best without kids but kids are welcome. read more

I really wanted to love this place. Had been on my list for awhile. I tried a little from each place. the Cheesesteak Dumplings, the Lamb Chili Cheese Dog and the Chicken Sandwich. The cheesesteak dumpling I thought was a nice gimmick but not particularly delicious. The cheese whiz foam wasn't so appetizing. The lamb chili dog was pretty good actually. The chicken sandwich was too much slaw and the breading had an odd taste. The whole experience was fine. I didn't think the food was as spectacular as i had heard. It's a cool setup, but maybe I went in with too much hype read more

Okay so we went here the second day it opened and I was quite impressed by the seating arrangement, and the ethnic food options. However, they need more choices...we tried Korave Indy which was Korean food and it was delicious, but not delicious as in I would visit again just for that. lil dumplings had a good variety of options on their menu from falafel, to dumplings to a fruity pebbles ice cream bao. Lastly, I was not impressed with the food at natural state provision. The chicken sandwich was uncooked, and just didn't taste good. The tots were good, but have you ever had gross tots? No. Overall, neat place to take your friends and family to try something new. Definitely not a place I would go on a whim. read more

Well there were 3 different "kitchens" to choose from. We got the fired cheese balls from one, and a chicken parm sandwich from the other. You order from your phone. And expected to remember to check your phone periodically to see if your orders ready. Now mind you we are in the Sun King Brewery. So it's loud and we are with others. Games on the TV's. Yada yada. Ten minutes after the text, I notice it. Yes. My fault. But when I go out, I don't expect to have to do everything but cook the meal.I'm out away from the kids, trying to enjoy time with my with and other adults. Now the fried cheese balls were good. But I know that ain't the correct name. (So they couldn't have been that good) And as far as the chicken Parmesan sandwich, it was spicy. Don't get me wrong I like spice. But not a whole green pepper and multiple jalapeños on the sandwich. Totally killed any taste to the chicken or sauce. Next time, I just need to remember to keep checking my phone, for my order like I'm at home. The kitchens change every so often, so I'm not sure if this always protocol or not. read more

Love this concept! Multiple restaurants with multiple kinds of foods. Loved that they give fledgling restaurants a place to try things out.

It's time for new food options. Chili cheese fries were not cooked and soaked in canned cheese sauce. Wings were dry and nothing special. Love to support local, but not for subpar food. read more

Great concept of small scale places, think food truck in a permanent space, making high flavor food. Only 2 of 3 spots open when visited. Korean BBQ and lil Dumpliings( global street food).
