Discovered Red Bridge Bistro in Cicero, Indiana this week. Enjoyed it so much came back again--twice in one week! Red Bridge is located at the corner of Byron and Jackson Street in old Cicero in a remodeled red brick building. The accessible entrance is on Byron. There is some street parking on both streets and a dedicated parking lot in back. The restaurant is on one level with ample space to walk and access seating. The space is tastefully and minimally decorated with booths, high and low tables, and a large welcoming bar. The bar features some THC drinks, beers, mix cocktails, and had a selection of bourbons. We were welcomed by hosts and servers. Tonight was fried deviled eggs that were lightly breaded (panko?) and piped with creamy deviled yokes. We haven't tried everything obviously but the stars, for us, are the burgers. The burgers appear to be about 1/3 lb and made with ground brisket, ground short rib, and ground sirloin well seasoned and cooked to order. Seriously, best grilled burgers we've tasted in many years. NOTE-there is a vegetarian burger option on the menu called The Innocent Burger. The house made chips were crispy and pleasantly seasoned. Too full, we opted to take home the bread pudding. (Will let you know how it travels.) Service was welcoming and efficient. Entree prices start around $15 and go up to include higher end steaks and such. Local businesses are a favorite. Red Bridge Bistro is focusing on the right things!

Had a great experience! I ordered the sliders which were wonderful. I also enjoyed a happy hour cider which was a great deal. I subbed a side of mushrooms for the chips and they were so good!!! Atmosphere was comfortable and the bar was beautiful - I will definitely go back and enjoy happy hour there in the future.

Of the four of us in our dining party, three of us went for the breaded pork tenderloin. It's fine; not my favorite breading. The breading is more of a corn meal texture than flour, which makes it crunchy but tears up your mouth. I prefer a flour and saltines crust. As a reprieve, it's a tenderloin and not fritter which is my preference. The exterior is plenty crunchy with a dryer inside. The potato medley was good. If I went back, I would skip this. It didn't seem like it was worth the next $3. Our server was very attentive. They have full bar, where we were seated. It was very loud in the bar. Oof. Hard to talk. The Sun King Wee Mac was on the menu but swapped out for Osiris which was a personal disappointment. We will be back to try something different from the menu.

Absolutely excellent service. Super cute place with great vibes. Food could use a bit more seasoning but overall we liked it and will go back. Tried the devour menu. I wasn't too impressed with the dessert selection but the other menu items were good to choose from. Portion sizes were very generous.

So excited to have finally tried this new spot in Cicero. First of all; Great job on decorating the place. Classy but comfortable. Definitely like the vibe. Service is super friendly and attentive. Great suggestions and just the right amount of attention. We started w a pretzel and I have to say it was good and even better w the cheese and mustard dip. I had the tenderloin and it was very good. Crispy and fresh. I opted for the potato medley for my side and it's a fun combo of various tots and fries. We also tried the chicken bbq flatbread which was full of flavor and had lots of cheese. Drinks were good, I enjoyed the Lavender 75 and my husband a margarita. Not too bad for a Sunday lunch. We will be back to check out the outdoor patio soon!

My hubby and I got a last minute reservation for a Saturday night out! We made the trip to Cicero from Carmel to check out Red Bridge! Started with the Maple Smoked Old Fashioned--very yummy, a little sweet as expected but I enjoyed it. We also had the pretzel. OMG-delicious. The mustard sauce was my fav. I had the pot roast sliders. Again, so yummy. Hubby had the fish n chips. Light breading, very fresh. The tartar sauce was smooth and tasty. Cole slaw was crunchy and not over sauced. The potato medley was a nice alternative to plain "chips". We then had the triple chocolate cake for dessert. It was very chocolatey but a nice cap to a wonderful meal. If you are looking for quiet ambiance this is not your place. It's pretty loud. But if you are looking for a fun date night in a new place with great food and bev--check it out!

If I could give 20 stars, I would! Our first experience here was amazing from arrival to departure with leftovers and a few extra carryout items because we wanted to try even more items on the menu! We sat ourselves at the beautiful bar area where we dined in comfy, cushy leather barstools and watched the IU game on the big screens. Our server, Kaleigh, was an absolute delight -- so friendly and provided wonderful recommendations. She deserves 100 stars! While we dined in, we enjoyed the fried deviled eggs, jumbo shrimp cocktail, pot roast sliders with potato medley, prosciutto chicken served with mashed potatoes and asparagus, mac & cheese side, and an expresso martini. I seriously cannot remember the last time I had such moist and flavorful chicken. The pot roast sliders are a definite yes for me as well as their au jus, which I'm very picky about. I love that you can upgrade your side for burgers and handhelds from house chips to a potato medley that includes tots and fries (reg, sweet & waffle) dusted in magical deliciousness; the $3 upcharge was completely worth it. To take home, we ordered the Hoosier tenderloin, the corn chowder and the triple chocolate cake. As I write this, my mouth is watering thinking about that yummy cake! We will absolutely return soon and often!

This was our first time here and it will not be our last. The service was great. We had at least 4 different people stop by and check to make sure everything was good. The ambiance was very laid back. Like could be a good date night spot or a family dinner out. My wife had the pot roast sliders and said they were fantastic. I had the breakfast burger and it was also delicious. And the kids cheeseburger is a full sized cheeseburger so your kid shouldn't have to be sneaking food off your plate! Really great experience! Also I FINALLY found a place that makes an old fashioned right (in my opinion) very delicious!

This is a new place that opened a couple of months ago, the remodeled interior is nicely done. The Corn Chowder and the Tomato Soup were very good. I went with Pan Halibut with the Asparagus and the Medley Roasted potato's. The Halibut was excellent, asparagus was prepared perfectly with the roasted potato's crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The wife went with the breaded tenderloin. It was served with house made potato chips. It comes with grilled onions, pickle spear, tomato, shredded lettuce and a homemade sauce all on the side. The Bread pudding with ice cream was very good

I was wondering if the seating here would be communal since they only have 9 tables and room for 35 guests but I was pleasantly surprised that we were seated at our own table in a bit of a nook created by bookcases. My girlfriend and I had plans that day to go to the Peony Festival in town but it was cancelled due to weather. There were still many beautiful peonies in the restaurant itself and in many businesses around town. We were immediately seated by the hostess and our waiter, James, came to the table to tell us about the restaurant and that they would take our entire order and then course it out for us. I love this. Being a small restaurant it was a little noisy in there but we just spoke up a bit to talk to each other. We started with a couple cocktails, mine was Mr. Rumtastic and my friend had the Coming Up Roses. Both cocktails were well made and good. I found mine a bit thick on the palate, maybe because of the coconut milk? Still the flavors were well balanced and delicious. We started our meal with the Housemade Burrata, the bottom of the plate had a pistachio butter spread across it and there was mortadella on the plate, a puffy fried dough called gnocco fritto, and a balsamic honey along side. We were instructed to put it on our plate and mix it up and see how we like it paired together. What an excellent way to start our meal. We would definitely order this again. Next up for us was the Lamb Kafta Kebabs along with the Housemade Focaccia Bread. The lamb kebabs were ground lamb skewered and grilled served over a fresh fava bean puree finished with olive oil, sumac, ramp powder, and black cumin with some thinly sliced watermelon radish. The lamb was super tender and a perfect medium cook. The focaccia bread was a good addition to this as we slathered the homemade bread with the super soft whipped herb butter. Loved the rosemary baked into the bread as it gave it a woody, herby note without overpowering it. I almost ordered the Spring Salad but I asked James if it would be going overboard and he said what we ordered he thought would be the perfect amount of food so I will save that for another day. We ordered a second cocktail, mine was the Persephone's Elixir and my friend ordered the Peonies in the Park. We both enjoyed these cocktails more than we enjoyed the first cocktails we ordered. The egg white on mine made a little frothy creamy top and I loved the slight sweetness from the vanilla syrup and the pomegranate juice. I tried my friend's cocktail and it was so refreshing, it was peony infused vodka with rhubarb liqueur with a strawberry-rhubarb shrub. Next up for us was our main dish. I ordered the Spring Ravioli and my friend ordered the Persian Chicken. My ravioli was the best pasta dish I have had in quite some time. I usually don't eat an entire entree, I usually bring half home, this one though I ate every little bit, I would have licked the plate if I were not in a nice restaurant! Housemade ravioli with a filling of sweet peas, ricotta and percorino cheese bathed in a potato veloute' with sugar snap peas, pink peppercorns, chive oil and microgreens. I would order this again tomorrow if I were to go back tomorrow. My friend loved her chicken and her baked rice as well. So even after all these food, and it was a lot, we had to go for dessert. I ordered a cup of coffee with cream along with Crunch-Dipped Peanut Butter Pie and my friend ordered the Double Scoop of Housemade Peanut-Butter and Chocolate Gelato. We enjoyed these as well. We will definitely make another trip here as the service, food, and cocktails were right on point. Thanks so much to 9th Street Bistro and I hope you have many years of success.

The staff were all very attentive and friendly. I appreciate that we were asked about allergies & dietary preferences before ordering. We ordered: - Stoller Family Estate Pinot Noir - Geoff Davis: four roses old fashioned - Housemade Focaccia Bread with whipped herb butter - Agnolotti Pasta (vegetarian) - Savory Galette (vegetarian) We really enjoyed the meal. The focaccia is huge portion - definitely fit for 3-4 people rather than just 2! It was sooo soft and delicious. I also enjoyed the savory galette. It was a solid option but wish it had just a bit more of the curry flavor. Despite all the ingredients, it was just a bit underwhelming. I tried a bit of my partner's meal, the agnolotti pasta, and it was so good - infused with flavor. He really enjoyed it and raved about it! We're excited to come and try them again.

The service is consistently great, and the food never disappoints. I started with the fried green tomatoes, which are some of the best you'll find in the Indianapolis area--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. The biscuits and gravy are a must-order. The biscuits taste freshly made, and you can really tell the restaurant prioritizes high-quality, farm-to-table ingredients. It's easily my go-to recommendation every time I visit. The ambiance is another highlight--intimate, cute, and welcoming. Even when it's busy, it never feels too loud or overwhelming. It's perfect for a casual date, catching up with friends, or even enjoying a solo meal with your laptop. Grindstone is truly a versatile spot that always delivers.

We still come from time to time because the service is always great and the vibe inside is so cozy and welcoming. It's a place we really enjoy sitting down at together, especially for a date night when we want something familiar and comfortable. That said, we have noticed the quality has gone down while the prices have gone up quite a bit.
