Fall menu begins Monday, August 27th! I am 100% sold and in love with the truffled wild mushroom frittata. This includes roasted shitake and crimini mushrooms. They're cut in perfect little mushroom slices (some places they end up being 'too big' for a good bite or 'too small' to notice, but First Watch has a great balance!) and they were incredibly fresh. They were still mushrooms (again, some places cook them down until they're sad little gray blobs that are unrecognizable). A hint of shallots makes it even better. But let me tell you about the best part--the garlic and herb creme cheese on top. I'm not kidding, I was asking the owner how I could purchase a tub of this creme cheese because it was extraordinary! Creamy, perfectly seasoned, it absolutely MADE the dish. There was also a small portion of lemon dressed arugula on top. Very crisp arugula and the lemon didn't overpower it. There was a piece of ciabatta toast on the side (I broke my diet to eat this, and was glad I did!) as well as seasonal fruit (yum!). Pumpkin pancakes are making their debut on August 27, 2018 and you don't want to miss it! ***They have a special where 10 cents of all of the pumpkin pancake sales go to helping feed hungry children*** Service was wonderful, professional, and the owners were there to answer questions and check in on tables. I don't like dining in because I feel like the service is very spotty. Maybe it's because I look young so they feel I don't tip? But the carry out service is amazing! I order takeout and I always have everything I need! They always include silverware and condiments! Which is something weird to mention? But not every place does this for takeouts and you'd think it's a given! My food was hot also which goes a long way with take outs! I love the food here! We stopped here passing through on our way home from a trip. The wait was long but it was worth it. The food is so good. The waiter apologized for the long wait and recommended a slower time. It was common for it to be busy at 10 on a Saturday. But the food and staff were great. read more

My family has visited six or seven times at all the First Watch restaurants. The food is very good and great presentation BUT... Food is always cold!! When asked to take back to give a little zap in the microwave to same time, they explain to me that they don't have a microwave. ( don't you not keep your warmers on either?) So we give another try at another location and the same scenario.. I am really not understanding why this restaurant can't get it together and serve hot food. We have even asked them when ordering to make sure food is hot before you bring it out to us or we will have to send it back and still comes out cold! At this point we would settle for lukewarm! If we were to order salads will they come out hot! Service is very unpredictable. At times it's great and other times it's a little left to be desired. What a delicious and great place to eat! The food was fantastic; I had one of the best Benedict's of my life here. The service here is great, atmosphere is really awesome. There is free coffee and water to drink when you wait for your table. One of the best breakfast in town! Doesn't have such a hillbilly or conservative vibe like most places for breakfast in town, fair prices, healthy options, and pride of presentation and quality! Finally came here for weekend brunch on a day. The place has been remodeled since being Good Egg, and has nice, modern decor. It's nice that there is a big inside waiting area with comfy seating and free coffee! Luckily there wasn't a huge crowd waiting, which there often is on the weekends, and we were seated after ~15 minutes for the two of us. I had the Elevated Egg Sandwich which came with gruyere cheese and avocado and was delicious. I swapped out the brioche bun for wheat bread just for a healthier choice, and was pleasantly surprised on how good the wheat bread was-- it tasted freshly baked. I did notice my dish was missing potatoes, and when I brought it up to the waiter, he said it was a salad or potatoes so I let it slide since my dish had an arugula salad; but re-reading the menu it definitely was supposed to come with potatoes-- so that was a little annoying that he lied or didn't care enough to check. They couldn't handle the day after Christmas. Waited 50mins past my pickup time to get a a small cup of fruit and a beverage. "Just waiting on toast" for 15 mins. The kid with the tattoo behind his ear disappeared for 10+ mins after going to check on my order. Tried to cancel my order but I could get my money back, the. My food magically appears. Came in at 9:10am. Ordered the Biscuits & Gravy that comes with 2 eggs & potatoes. The order came to the table with wrongly made eggs twice(both over easy, asked for medium). First time back since good egg turned into first watch. I think I like the good egg better. I received one of those flyers in the mail for buy one meal get one free so the cheapskate in me went to check out the place with the fam after church. It was crowded with a 20 minute wait. My husband has never been to good egg or first watch and after perusing the menu told me we should have just gone across the street to Denny's. He said nothing on the menu really jumped out at him. I would have to agree minus the Denny's part. I really am not into the Denny's atmosphere... Older son agrees as well. My other youngers don't know any better so they have no comment. We ordered the following food: Fresh oj- taste like fresh oj Lemonade- nasty like most places (why do most restaurant lemonade stink? Pink lemonade- no comment. My daughter had it and with little kids, anything with sugar is good Bacon Benedict- husband rates this as below average Turkey sausage and biscuit- tasty for turkey sausage gravy. Leaves that funky "turkey aftertaste " if you know what I mean. It might be bc I am not a huge turkey fan Roast beef havarti - my son rates this a 4/10 Trifecta - "normal" Kids crepe- my daughter rates this as good Kids chocolate pancakes- 3 year old rates this as good but I think it's the abundance of chocolate chips that won her over Coffee: kind of dark and I would rank it a 6/7 as far as quality of taste Service was poor. First time trying out First Watch in the old location of the Good egg and it definitely filled their shoes and some. The food came out quick was extremely delicious. I had The works omelette and my grandfather had the Trifecta breakfast with a waffle. The service was awesome here, probably some of the best I've experienced in a long time. We were seated right away and provided our drinks. The menu has a great selection that has something for everyone especially when you're picky like my grandfather. I went here while waiting for my car to finish it's service at the car dealership down the road. I ordered the seasonal pancakes, the pumpkin spice (no shame), and they were okay but they didn't really taste like pumpkin spice. I also tried some of their freshly squeezed juices, the ginger one, and it is really tasty but its ridiculous that you cannot get free refills especially considering how much you spend for just the one tiny glass. This is my favorite place to have breakfast by far. They have all the traditional breakfast fare, but some creative items. Try the the Lemon blueberry quinoa pancakes! The bread they serve is also a must have. Turns out I tried to get a loaf but they order it from a company back east so if you want some you gotta get it here. The staff is also wonderful. Attentive and friendly servers making sure you have syrup, refilled drinks, and actually concerned that you are having a pleasant experience. I like the open and airy layout, and the dining room and restrooms are immaculate. Get here early on a Sunday because it gets busy. Great location off Oracle and parking is never a problem.
