    Monterrey club sandwich
    David T.

My daughter chose First Watch for her birthday brunch. The food was good as always. We split the million dollar bacon. I had the Monterey Club sandwich while my daughter had the avocado toast with dippy eggs. I do like how the learn towards healthier sides (and food in general) and minimize the fried stuff. The waitress was polite but not attentive. We sat for at least 10 min after finishing our food to wait for her to check on us and hand me the bill. It wasn't as busy as it usually is on a Sunday after church.

I was looking for nice meals low in sugar, reasonable in salt, and reasonable in calories. I found a few options in the "Healthier Side" and "Egg-Sclusives" sections of their menu. I chose the Avocado Toast and my wife chose the Florentine Benedict. Both are good choices according to their website (which, by the way, is probably the best for presenting nutritional info.) We got there after 1pm so the servers were preoccupied with preparing to close. If attentiveness matters to you I recommend coming earlier in the day.

Biscuits and turkey sausage gravy with eggs

Just a fantastic breakfast! I had the biscuits and turkey sausage gravy with eggs. Perfectly seasoned and very filling. Everything is always delicious and service was great!

I've been to various locations of First Watch and always get the same great service. Got seated within minutes of getting there. The place was buzzing with people but still not loud that I couldn't hear myself. I had the salmon frittata and my husband had the sunrise granola. Both were yummy, I found my frittata a bit too salty for my tasting. Overall was good. I will definitely be back

    Lemon Ricotta Pancakes

The lemon ricotta pancakes if you like lemon zet it is good and has a tart flavor. Something to try but not something I will order again, can say at least I tried it. The server recommended it and always wanted too. The wait took us 30 min to sit probably too many hung over servers from last night. Still take Waffle House over this but the ambiance not it lol.

This was my first time visiting here and I would say this location is small. They are very efficiently with getting you in and making sure you have a great experience. We came during brunch time and everything came out at a decent pace. I got the smoked salmon Benedict and it was delicious! I would try other options on the menu when I go back. My friends got the traditional and we shared the Belgium waffles. That was amazing! It was the perfect fluffy crispy ratio and it came with a berry sauce. The potatoes were a bit salty. But overall it was a great experience.

    Kale Tonic

When traveling, I can always count on First Watch as a familiar place for a great brunch. First thing I always want is a juice - decided on the kale tonic which is always delicious. The morning meditation was a close second. Next, is bottomless coffee with the carafe left in the table for as many refills. I needed food that was going to sustain me through the afternoon so I decided to try the Triathlete - egg white omelette with sautéed mushrooms and onions, topped with a diced green chile Ms and diced tomatoes. Fresh pico on the side and multigrain toast with delicious jam on the side. I ate every bite and it was delicious! It also kept me filled for the next hours of activities.

    Kale salad
    Marlee B.

The superfood kale salad was gluten free and came out with an allergy flag in it. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with food allergies. The online waitlist was easy to use and reduced our in-person wait from 30 minutes to under 5. The restaurant is tightly packed, so I recommend asking for a table closer to the entrance if anyone in your group has a mobility aid.

I have come a few times for Saturday breakfast before and work and have not been disappointed. I absolutely love their oatmeal and muffin breakfast. Their coffee is delicious and I always grab a cup to go too. Each time the service has been friendly and fast. I love that I can come and know I can get out in a timely manner to make it to work.

I truly love this place. They have great specials during each season and the staff is really polite. I enjoy the waitlist option online. Reduces our overall wait time. Lots of windows it still feels bright even on the gloomiest of days.

The place itself is lovely, very clean, lots of open space, and lovely staff. I got to try their classic latte with skim milk (I think, or some plant based milk) and my friend had their super fruit tea. I regret not being a bit more adventurous with my order, but it was a very solid latte nonetheless. Great portion, great art, very creamy despite it not being whole milk. My friend was a little disappointed with their fruit tea. Portion seemed to be noticeably smaller by a good bit. There was an option to sweeten it that they opted not to do and probably should have done! All in all, very nice spot in Homestead. There's even a little place to get water. Definitely recommend this coffee shop.

Display cases were full of baked goods such as cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, cruffins, tarts, cakes, breads. I have been to the Mediterranean, and I thought that most of the baked goods here were not Mediterranean. While I waited in a slowly moving line of other customers to order from the bakery, I browsed the shelves in the market. I saw cheeses, bottled beverages such as wines, packaged foods such as grape leaves, and chocolates. I could not find price tags on all foods, so I recommend that those be added. I purchased three baked goods for a total of $15. I rate the croissticky as 5 stars, the cinnamon roll as 3.5 stars, and the raisin-oatmeal cookie as 4 stars.

I got to try their Samarkand plov/osh, Samarkand bread/naan/non, Napoleon cake, and the suzma. I really enjoyed nearly all of the items. Starting backwards with the suzma, this was kind of like labneh, the Turkish yogurt dish. Quite good, but this felt a little more liquidy while still being rich. Very strong whole milk flavor. The Uzbek bread is always delicious. They give you a huge piece of bread that is crunchy at the sides and soft in the middle. Perfect for eating any of the main entrees with, especially kebabs. Nice seed topping as well. The Samarkand plot was quite nice too. My first time ever having plov, finally! Glad to try it from this place. They give you a nice serving size. The rice is a little bit oily, and I typically like the rice to be cooked longer (it still had a pretty strong bite to it), but the flavor was nice overall. Savory from the meat, sweet (almost a bit too sweet) from the carrots, and richness from the spices and oil. I really liked that they included chickpeas as well. All in all, I quite enjoyed this place. Probably not my favorite Uzbek in the area, but still, very good. I would like to come back to try some of the other items they added.

The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the time we arrived until we left, often checking on our experience without being intrusive. They also helpfully explained the menu and the presence of some special treats already on the table when we arrived--there for guests coming to break their fast for that day of Ramadan. We very much enjoyed everything we ate, starting with a Samosa and Shuba (with the awesome translation of "Fur Coat"), and through our main courses of Plov, Layered Uzbek dumplings, and steak with rice. The Plov and layered dumplings were particular standouts for generous servings of perfectly seasoned dishes with complex flavor--seem like they would be particularly great entry points for folks less familiar with Uzbek cuisine. We were too full to eat dessert, but took home some honey cake for dessert. That was reminiscent of baklava with its layers of crispy cake and honey, but also very much its own thing, and definitely something I will be ordering next time, too. I worry folks will miss this local gem down at the end of the Kuhn's parking lot, and hope the word gets out--it's definitely worth a visit!
