A friend and I met for breakfast and we both had great food. The menu is extensive. Service was outstanding.

Love this place! I've tried several of their options and have loved them all. I keep my eye out when we travel for other locations and they've all been great so far! read more

Great new place. Had the pleasure of visiting with my wife for first time for my birthday breakfast. Coffee was A+ .... very nice inside. Service was decent and food came out super fast. All breakfast and lunch have a slightly healthier flair. But everything was super good. Had the Asian Pork Belly with eggs... and shared some of my wifes multigrain pancakes. All of it was fantastic. Cant wait to keep coming back and checking things off the list. Great place. #BuddhaReview read more

FIRST WATCH - Christiana, Delaware came highly recommended. I must say I was not disappointed! Myself and another associate had breakfast. We both ordered the Shrimp and Grits, Eggs Over Medium, Million Dollar Bacon, Purple Haze, Water with Lemon, and Coffee. Service was impeccable, food was delicious, and both our Waitresses (one was being trained), were very attentive and pleasant. Reasonably Priced. I'm definitely going back and am HIGHLY RECOMMENDING this establishment to everyone I know! read more

Been in the Sonesta across the street for a few weeks and treat myself here for breakfast more than I probably should. Great food, wonderful service. Best breakfast spot in the area. read more

DONT EAT AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!The food and service at this location is TERRIBLE. I ordered from Uber Eats. The Turkey biscuits gravy, which is suppose to come with biscuits, gravy, eggs and potatoes. The gravy was missing, the biscuit has hair on it. I also ordered donuts, which was hard and burnt, as you can see in this picture. Lastly my orange juice didn't come with a straw, nor was it protected from the rain, it was all wet once I received it. So I called and asked to speak to a manager, Emma states that the managers are to busy to speak with me, she didn't tell me she was a Lead and she could help until I stated again I wanted to speak with my manager. So she apologizes and gives me options on what we could do about my order. So I told her I would come up there I didn't give a time. She said okay and apologized again. I called and spoke with someone who he claimed to be the manager, it was a guy who didn't state his name, we spoke around 1:24pm. I called so I could let him know I wouldn't be able to make it due to the rain, I wanted to see if I could bring it tomorrow. He wasn't pleasant and didn't seem like he was manager material. He states he was busy earlier helping out and Emma was the best fit, he also says " we had your food waiting for you so as soon as you arrived it would be hot." Emma and I never discussed a time when I would be coming, she initially told me to come tomorrow due to the rain. The manager apologizes. I also mentioned how my orange arrived wet, he says they have nothing to do with that that's Uber Eats drivers job to protect the food once it leaves. I was taken back because I was trying to give advice on what they could do better so people could order drinks and not have to worry about it getting wet. He says well I'm am going to disagree with you. As a manager you shouldn't go back in forth with a customer, that is horrible customer service. He then states I'm yelling at him, which I wasn't my tone was the same the whole time we talked, he just wanted a reason to hang up on me. So he told me they are not making my food, I asked him for his name 6 times before he hung up on me!!!!!!!!. The MANAGER needs to be demoted and retrained on how to better assist customers. This position must be to much for him to handle. read more

This is what Delaware needs more of. I like everything about this place. The decor is welcoming, the food is delicious, and the service was top notch. This is clearly a tough area to keep any business open. It has seen a variety of stores and restaurants come and go since Borders bookstore left. This restaurant is really filling a need in our community by providing delicious food, offering healthy options, and catering to the less than optimal breakfast and brunch options in the area. Finally, someplace to go that doesn't offer only doughnuts or bagels. This is a great place to go for brunch. There are food options beyond traditional breakfast foods. Salads, sandwiches, soups, etc. are all available. It gets busy so plan ahead or be willing to wait especially with all of the new health regulations in place. The food is excellent and you won't be disappointed. read more

Great food and great service. The menu is awesome, coffees are good & surprisingly reasonably priced. Kelly, our server, was wonderful.

My server, Korinna, was very helpful, since it was my first visit. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. read more

Cook didn't know how to make simple egg order. I asked for 2 eggs omelette style. I got 2 fried eggs. When I explained to the server omelette style meant the eggs should be folded over she brought back 2 fried eggs folded over. So the I said let's try scrambled eggs I was brought eggs with pieces of egg white and egg yolk. The eggs weren't beat in a bowl before cooking. Unbelievable!!! I was not charged for my meal. read more

Ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. Think it's a bit pricey for breakfast/brunch. Had the breakfast burrito, which was delicious but huge- enough for two people easily. Companion had the Pancakes, which filled the plate but overall not impressive/worth the price. Specialty bacon was ok. read more

First watch is always a great place for brunch. They have great coffee and never disappoint with their food and portions.

The eggs were served cold and I had to send them back The potatoes were seasoned perfectly but some were undercooked The coffee was mediocre the one thing pleasing to my palate was the toasted multigrain toast and jam The atmosphere is ok as well as the service read more

We dined in for breakfast this morning. Kelly provided excellent service throughout our meal. All food was hot and tasty, as expected. There was one error with order, which Kelly immediately resolved. Looking forward to they're good again soon! read more

Messed up my takeout order twice after it was signed that they checked it. Went in after the first time and it still came out wrong lol

On the way to DC, picked this based on reviews and easy/on off. Jumped on the waitlist ahead of arrival (I'd say it's a must on Sundays), waited 10 mins. What a nice place. Nice vibe, friendly staff, and great food. We had chorizo omelet, chicken salad, and cobb salad All excellent. If you like good food, made well, this is the place for you. read more

Found this place by searching the map. Checked in ahead of time to avoid a longer wait. The wait time was accurate and we were seated in a timely fashion. The server, Q, was very personable and attentive. Got my daughter to try a new, to her, flavor tea. She checked on the table to ensure the meal was going well. Im still here atm moment working on my french toast. Pleasent surprise of the morning was the warmed bottle of syrup that came out. Dont like the little syrup packets, too small.... In closing, I would definitely return to this place. The food was good and our server was on top of her job. All in all a good experience. read more

3 visits in and I've been happy with all of my meals. My only wish is they had specialty coffees such as lattes. Service is always pleasant and the little outdoor patio is nice in warm weather. The space is bigger than it looks from the outside so the wait is usually reasonable. read more

I really want to give 2.5 stars. First, let me say that we had REALLY high hopes. We have visited FOUR times hoping that each time, they'd redeem themselves. The food is good. And my husband and I really really love breakfast and I'm a sucker for veggies with breakfast. A pretty plate is the best. The first time we visited, was two weeks after they opened. Our server was very attentive and clearly experienced (Af-Am woman, colorful hair. She's awesome). The food was delicious but it came out soooo slowly. We chalked it up to working out kinks. Because we were giving them the benefit of the doubt, I told everyone about the great new spot that opened and we were really looking forward to going back. Went back the next week and same deal except the food came out even slower. Server didn't seem to be on the ball but okay. Everyone is new. Food was still really good. We waited a couple of weeks and tried again. Got theeeee worst service and our food took almost 45 minutes to come. 45 minutes for a frittata and pancakes is crazy. The frittata was freaking delicious but seriously, we were frustrated. My future DIL asked if we could go after church last Sunday so we did. Unbelievably, the speed from the kitchen is slower than its ever been. It took more than an hour for all of our entrees to come and two of our meals were ice cold and we had to ask for them to be heated. The server did check on us a few times but didn't really have an answer as to why everything was so slow. If I have to rate just food, it's the best fresh breakfast around. And we LOVE breakfast and when we go out, it's usually breakfast/ brunch. Unfortunately, the speed of service is maddeningly slow and I just can't figure it out. We want to love this place. Sadly, we won't come back until it gets straightened out. I guess we're doomed to "tan" breakfast (pancakes, eggs, potatoes...) elsewhere. read more

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. My eggs were cooked correctly and the bacon and waffle were perfect. However, the potatoes were not fully cooked and pretty greasy. Also some cool fruit juices with vitamin boost etc are an option if you'd like to purchase. read more

Every time we come to First Watch the food is amazing and so is the service. The coffee is always fresh and their specialty drinks are tasty, my favorite is the Red Medicine. The kid's menu is great, has amazing variety and a great price. I had a breakfast sandwich and potatoes. The sandwich was fantastic with very fresh ingredients. The potatoes were good but nothing special, could've used more seasoning. One thing I really didn't care for was that they didn't make half and half readily available. Many people order coffee at a breakfast/brunch place and I imagine most prefer fresh cream, not those flavored creamers that can sit out at room temperature. Our server did bring half and half but in a foam cup which tells me this is something they don't normally do. Kind of off putting as coffee is a big part of the breakfast experience for me! read more

Large yummy portions. Pleasant staff. Love the online check in. Wait was 45 min for walk-ins. Ours was less than 10 minutes!

I was in the area for a wedding and thanks to Yelp found this location. I've been to First Watch in other states (OH and GA) so I was glad to find a familiar place to eat. I ordered the rainbow toast (although this location called it something else), a side of bacon, breakfast potatoes and a morning meditation fresh juice. My food was good, as usual. The service was a bit slow (it wasn't busy at the time I went) but otherwise I enjoyed myself. read more

Was my last day in Delaware and decided to stop at this spot to grab breakfast before heading back home. Wow. Good food. I can't stop thinking about this place. I came here about 2 months ago for the third time with some of my friends. Although the food was good the fact that we waited for about an hour was not good at all. The waitress didn't check on us very often and we saw other people who had come in later than us get served. I later left a disappointing review and I received an email stating that they would make it up to me by sending me something in the mail but it never came. When I emailed the manager again he was sorry that he forgot and said that he would send me something in the mail for the second time but that never happened. Be a man of your word. read more

Stopped in first time. To begin with going to breakfast in Delaware is a nightmare. You wait 30 minutes for cackleberries. This was refreshing walked up around 10:30am. No wait place was busy. Sat down looked at the menu. Good amount of choices. Coffee was good. Server was helpful and friendly. So I ordered the Braised Short Rib Benedict. It was fantastic. Pities were perfect. My wife had French Toast & Bacon. Again just right. Overall great breakfast 0 aggravation. Down side: A bit pricey ( but worth it ) May seem petty but a small picture of creamer or a few at a time would be better. There is a bowl of creamers and 2 of them curdled my first coffee. All in all highly recommend..... read more

I was not overly impressed with First Watch. I arrived 1.5hrs before closing and was met with much disdain. The music was very loud and the wait staff were uninterested in their customers. The food was just ok. Even if the staff had been friendly the food was not worth a return trip. read more

Food was delicious. The reason for my one star rating is because I was overcharged. Apparently someone wanted to add an extra tip after I put ZERO on the tip line when paying with my card. I paid my tip in cash which I placed on my table. I paid my bill using my debit card with the tall Caucasian man who is usually working in the front on Sundays. read more

Disappointed today. We had our dog with us and they wouldn't let us sit on the outside patio. So we ordered our food to go. They forgot my two large orange juices. Then tried to give my husband small water type cups. Not full large cups like ordered. Then he had to go back in because they didn't give him biscuits to go with his gravy. My to go containers were messy and the eggs didn't come out as ordered. Normally like the varied options for someone who can't have beef/pork but today I was very disappointed. And if you have fur babies you can't bring them to the outside patio!!! I'll be leaving a negative review on BringFido as well. read more

Service was lacking. We arrived before the morning brunch rush, as such, we were expecting excellent service. Our server was not attentive. She took our drink and food order. Overall food is 6/10 stars (we tried Chicken n' waffles, lemon ricotta pancakes, eggs and biscuits n' gravy).
