    Mimosa and fresh brewed coffee
    Shawn F.

Great Mother's Day brunch. If you download FW app you can check-in online and watch the wait time to plan your arrival---a must have for days as busy as Mother's Day. Started brunch with a mimosa with fresh squeezed OJ....you could tell! Tried both one of their Hashes and an omelette and both we cooked perfectly. The jam served with the toast is to die for as is the MUST HAVE million dollar bacon. Great service in our new favorite breakfast place in Middletown!

    Complimentary flower for Mother's Day!

Such a mixed review & experience. We made reservations for Sunday brunch and glad we did as the…read moreplace got crowded quickly. On one hand I want to try again for dinner but for the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. Pros: Amazing service - very attentive server(s); we had one in training/shadowing and she was just as good as our primary server, offering refills, clearing plates, overall greet banter Cocktails are fantastic - had the Minnie Ripperton and loved it - creamy yet refreshing and bright which is a tough combo to achieve Cons: Hidden entrance - after circling what looked like an abandoned building 2x we finally figured out the entrance was in the backy and down a set of stairs. I now understand the "speakeasy vibe" but the clutter in the front made the building look abandoned or under construction; not a great start to the experience for us Food service - the other couple we were dining with got their entrees about 10 minutes before ours and we were some of the first orders & diners of the day. Usually you might hold the whole table or refire some of the dishes so it all comes out at the same time. They finished theirs before we even got our to start, making it a strange eating experience Small print menu - with the low light of the speakeasy, the menu had the teeeeniest print I've ever seen making it very difficult to read the menu options. We also didn't realize that the menu changes/is seasonal (not called out on the website) so many of the items we had wanted to try were not an available option. I love a menu that changes but hope it's indicated on the website (aka: sample menu, subject to seasonal change) Hit-n-miss: Fried chicken Benedict- huge portions, amazing biscuits and perfectly poached (but unseasoned?) eggs. I don't know if the hollandaise soaked into the fried chicken or never existed at all - and that's the thing you want with a Benedict. If it existed, it never reached the biscuits because while they were good, but were completely dry Shrimp and grits - perfectly cooked, great consistency, but very under-seasoned Water - just an observation and maybe it's just the local tap water flavor but it tasted off or as off the soap hadn't been washed from the glasses Pro Tip: be aware of the automatic gratuity in some circumstances; if you don't know, check the website before your meal!

Totally worth trying and you will leave soo full. The server was nice and this place was jamming all night. Very tight inside so definitely a cool date spot. It's dark in here, like old people with the phone flashlight dark but I didn't mind honestly. The only thing that threw me off was this bathtub drink... You won't finish your food but you'll be excited for left overs !

The waffles are crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, the hash browns are perfectly cooked and customizable, and the grill crew clearly knows their craft. There's something reassuring about watching your meal made right in front of you--it's honest food, done right. Service is friendly, efficient, and refreshingly genuine. Whether it's early morning, late night, or somewhere in between, the staff keeps things moving while still making you feel welcome. Reliable, affordable, and deeply satisfying--Waffle House remains a classic for a reason.

Typically this one is super packed on the weekend but a few weeks ago, there were plenty of spots out front so we finally stopped in. Breakfast was quick and the server was friendly. I just had fried eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. It was all good except the bacon could have been cooked longer but next time I'll specify that I like it nice and crispy. Still missing their fiesta omelet that they took off the menu years ago - maybe one day they'll add it back or at least another omelet option cause I'm really an omelet type girl. Overall though, a good solid breakfast with the best hash browns.

I'm glad, because with it being slightly off the 'main drag' in Middletown, we might not have seen it otherwise. We arrived towards the end of the dinner rush hour, and fortunately were seated over by where a musician was playing. It was a busy night, and we were tired and hungry from a day at the faire. As it was busy, there were sportsball games going and the musician playing, shouting was required for discussion and we had some funny misunderstandings YOUR GRAPE IS ON THE MOON? WHAT? Oh, your gravy is a little cool! :) The musician was great, playing lots of 70s and 80s hits, and he seemed to enjoy us singing along and dancing. We are, after all, rennies. We're glad he was enjoying us as much as we were enjoying his music. We got drinks and menus quickly, and our server was attentive without being pushy. After a few minutes looking over the menu, she appeared and we ordered. I got the Stampede Burger, while one of my friends got the Prime Dip sandwich (AKA French Dip), and one got chicken fingers. All came in reasonable time and were quite good, hearty food. So, why the one star off? Dessert. Could we have a brownie sundae? Out of brownies. OK, how about chocolate cake? Out of that, too. Uh...red velvet? Out. Basically everything chocolate. Sigh. Yeah, it was busy but not insane. We ended up not getting dessert, and it was disappointing. Whoever's managing food orders and prep, please do better. Also, if it's not available, it would have been great for the server to say so up front, that way she didn't have to tell us no 3 times. Parking in a private lot, plentiful. We would go again, we just will plan on dessert elsewhere.

All the crew back there are doing a phenomenal job with the preparations and quality of the food. All the dips are made from scratch and it tastes fresh. I'm not a salad person but I had the beet salad and it comes with fresh goat cheese spread; man oh man; I ordered takeout. The lamb chops are amazing!! The tea brined wings are really good and the sweet potato cornbread is a 10! The decor and ambiance of this location is beautiful! The coffee was a 10! Very strong & that's what I needed! Berto was our waiter and he did a great job with representing the company well with his service! You'll definitely catch me back here. 2-3 times a month. It's worth it!! Check this place out
